    Some tips: update firmware, delete default patches, go to Spark app settings as select your pickup type: low or high output (this will make the crackling noise go away). To get more vol on clean use a sustainer (or also an EQ as you mentioned).

    I run it into the effects loop return when using it with an amp. Also it works great into an IR loader - takes it to another level to shape the tones with different IRs.

    Before I found out about this, I bought the Fender Mustang Micro to use with my Traveller guitar when travelling by plane. But I'm tempted to also get this since there is an external speaker if I don't want to use headphones and its much smaller than my Yamaha THR 10 that I use as desktop practice amp. We are in the age where we can bring our guitar and all our practice gear as a carry on.

      I also have the Micro and use it with a small powered speaker for travel. The Go looks interesting. I wish there was an app for the Micro.

      I have both Spark Go and Mini. The Mini sounds better and the size is pretty small. I think I'll only bring the Go if I really need to travel light. Now I can alternate between either one. They're both good

    Thank you for this very inspiring demonstration, which more than meets my expectations. Indeed, I didn't think it could be connected to a tube amp. However, I'll leave you with a thought. Isn't there a risk of damaging the Spark Go or the amp if you use an adapter for the 1/8" jack cable?

    • @boechlerguitarsandrepair
      @boechlerguitarsandrepair  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's just running a sound signal through the amps and the adapter so there should be absolutely no risk of anything being damaged.

    • @irazida
      @irazida 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's what I thought. I read the opposite on a forum dedicated to the Spark Go. However, it might be a good idea to change the device settings to mono for the headphone output if you're connecting it to an external mono tube amp.

    This amp keeps me practicing, but the tones are rough , I've got a few down that don't icepick .I'm pretty sure the tones sound better on the larger spark 40 . But you are very , very limited on effects and placement of the effects . Plugging into a stereo or an actual amp helps with the thin sound the go puts out . I keep telling myself it's tiny and very affordable. BD Bryan's patches are really good on this !
