Thanks a lot for taking your time to share this. I've just bought a 05 V6 2.7 (seems like New as It was owned by a aged one) It's like a dream as I wanted a 300c since I seen It for the very first time. Mine comes with early firmware version and all the info showed is very useful for me to check some parameters in real time without using ODB2.
Your 300c sounds pretty awesome. Here in Europe we have tons of enviromental restrictions (wich is good for future genenations) but, God... What a Lion Roar!!!

Is there a way to go in the automatic drive mode again after you shift it manual?
I always has to stop, go neutral and D again to go back in automatic 🤔
Yeah just upshift, from 1, 2, 3 and eventually you'll see D, then you're back in auto

Man you just saved me a few hundred bucks. I wanted the diablo 2t trinity so I could tune and monitor but I can monitor Temps and volts etc on dash and never knew. Thanks for the info
I have a 2007 300 Heritage edition...i am late to the game.....but i love my 1st gen 300.....they actually outsold the current gen on a average of 2 to one and even 3 to 1 .....in some years

Here’s what have learnt in the time I have owned my SRT8
1) press ESP to release traction control or (while stationary) HOLD ESP for 7 seconds to deactivate all traction and stability controls, many people arnt aware they do burn outs with stability control on I’ve seen two people stack thier Chryslers on Raw mode be aware
2) When selecting manual mode from D Always activate manual mode by upshift (it won’t change gear) to see your current gear selected then change down if needed- also from any gear, when u upshift you HOLD upshift to activate auto D mode from any gear
Dude...our cars are identical. I was lucky enough to get mine from NC so it has ZERO rust. I am in Ohio. I paid $9000 for mine and it has 47,000 original miles. Heated leather, every option available for 2005. Great videos bro, keep them coming.

I brought my 05 new, has done 283000k is still like new.It is garaged when not in use, was checked for hoses and rubbers last week, will change (just because of age and security)still drives as new.

A couple of these I really wanted, didn't work on my 2006 SRT8. I wanted to see what code it was throwing, but that one didn't work turning the key 3 times. Only other one that didn't seem to work was the ESP BAS, completely turning off track control. However, I do like seeing that the music button and navigation button show me a lot more about engine temps and so on.
Yeah it works. You have to do it within 5 seconds. Car in park then turn on and off 3 times leaving the 3rd time with it on and it shows. Have to do within 5 seconds though. All jeeps and cryslers don't

I have a 06 Daytona charger, you flip the key to the first click, then go ahead again, back ahead back ahead back just 3 times, wait a sec or two, codes show up. Basically just hear the fuel pump Prime 3 times and you should be good.
yes i know for that from 2012, i know how to deactivate warning sound for seat belt , and to deactivate kick down , to be able to drive with full gas on almost any rpm without downshift

@@maagneticc6470 well they are apples and oranges but luxury inside both power the 300C 340hp stock 290 stock from g35 and I’ve done some mods so I’m at 390 now but the g35 felt quicker
Chrysler always does something like that, I had a 2000 300m there was a
Technique called the key flip where the car would do self diagnosis, it would pull up all the codes you didn't need a scanner
My 2006 300c does that

Opel Astra has the same stuff - start engine with two pedals pushed (don't remember which). Anyway I bought 300C yesterday :D.

the "shifting gears" is to tell the computer the highest gear you want it to go in to. if you but it all the way to 5 it gose to just D because its in normal mode.
How do I rest this feature?
The auto stick feature was introduce way back in 1996 starting with the Eagle Vision (aka Chrysler 300M)

Great video, never knew the menu part. Also if you hold the slap stick to the left or right it will jump from drive to 1 gear at a stop and if your driving hold it to the left to get the the gear that the car is in...thanks for your info

Digital RPM readout that isn't fake? That updates in the single digits? I can't be the only one that appreciates that for how extra it is
To clear the code and reset the car for it to recalibrate everything and remove engine light you table negative lead off battery and then hold brake down for 15 seconds. Then out back on and code is clear and no engine light.

When you downshift to the third gear while driving on the highway, the HEMI turns into a extremely powerful wild beast that makes the car almost fly😄.
I’m still hesitant on using manual. Cause of no clutch I don’t know how to feel it out. I slap the stick but I literally stalled it lol. I would practice but I heard too many bad stories l. The most I know on shifting is you let off the gas while changing gear? This why I just keep it auto. But if it produces more speed? I’m fuckin wit it!

My 2007 5.7L Design has this but my 2006 6.1L SRT-8 sadly does not

you do not have to turn your key to turn off the stability control just hold the ESP button for 8 sec i think turning your key is not the way u just have to be at a stop in park

Yeah mine does, its most likely the light bulbs that is bad, I dont think there's a fuse for the lights for those buttons

Do once you turn the traction control permanently off, the esp bas lights stay on right? So now how do u get it back on? Please and thank you.
Only way to get it back on is to restart the car
@@Dan300 so what your saying is that once activated it automatically deactivates when you turn the car off, thus resetting itself.
..because no matter how many times I turn the car on and off it won't go off :)
@@nicholerathman oh if its still on after you restart the car, that would indicate some issue with the abs system, could just be a bad wheel speed sensor

I been told if you go thru the gears to 4 it turns off the multi displacement also
It just makes it not shift into 5th gear mds only comes on in 5th gear. You would be going down the highway at like 2500 rpm

hi, im searching for a car radio for my 300c touring 2007 with bluetooth and usb. Which one do you have? and can you use your steeringwheel buttons for the radio?
I have a Pioneer MVH-X690BS, it has both bluetooth and usb, for you to use your steering wheel audio controls with any aftermarket radio you need to get a separate adapter does not matter which radio. My steering wheel controls dont work because I dont have that adapter.

1st menu was call engineering/diagnostic mode. Most if not all modern cars have it
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 that show service all wheel drive and ani- skid light and 1 other light on. We can’t read codes to find out what is going on as our code reader won’t read them nor will the one at the auto zone. Any suggestion? (Besides take to Dealer). The chimes are driving me batty. My hubby replaced sensor on front wheels and can’ t get a reading on the back one.
I have no experience with the newer 300 as o own the 1st gen, best thing I can say is to take to a dealer

It's an 07, I dont think 05 came with 0-60 timer

Nah its an 07, plus I don't think you can disable awd on the first gen 300cs
Have you heard about the one where your coasting and turn key as if your cranking, hold for 10 seconds and you hear a chime. The esp and air bag light come on, apparently this gives you a big bhp gain till you switch engine off and goes back to normal. Ive not tried it i wondered if anyo e else here has!???

@@Dan300 there is forums with posts about it and its a function the dodge charger shares with it. Sounds like its more likely going to fuck up the transmission but there are peeps on forums who say they do it. I read back through today and its 2-3 seconds not 10... on a diff note what 300 have you got? Ive remapped my 3.0 crd to put out 275bhp and have rigged a wet nitrous system to take it upto a lil over 400 but wanted to know of some other mods for gains you might have done ?

Yea I seen a video similar to this one with a charger. The 300 and chargers are very similar I used some of menus on my 08 limited 300 no problem.

@@colinvieth8445 it depends on which sound system you have. The base car only had 4 speakers and from what I heard its not good, I got the navigation which comes with the Boston acoustic sound system with 7 speakers and it sound damn good, the bass is crazy for a stock system and I only have the bass setting halfway, on max its just too much🤣

Depending on which year you get, 07 and about have aux, I dont think the 05 and 06 came with aux

Yep and your traction control is still active reducing your power to the system , the trick is this , while your stopped and stationary HOLD esp button for 7 seconds it will chime , and read

I have a 2006 300c with 04/25/2005 software all I can see is engine temp, oil pressure, speed, compass, exterior temp, last recorded chime and thats it no zero to 60 , no voltage page, no top spees none of these features. Is there a way I can get these features? Do I just swap PCM to 07?
Yeah the 05 and early 06s didn't come with those. I dont knownof anyway to add that to your screen

Yo hidden secret you can just go in your fuse box and take out the traction control/stability control fuse and you can do donuts and shit
Or just shut the traction off with the button..
Ummmm.... I feel really smart right now. I figured all that out in the first couple days of owning the 2 300's that I've had over the past few years.

I debaged my exterior. Didn't know what to do with the badge so I stuck it on the dash 🤣

Its an 07, the missing features were introduced in 07 and up

Dan 300 my accelerator sticks I’ve changed it but it still sticks. Some say I need to recalibrate it I tried what was said. One time it worked and and later that day it started to stick again. Tryna see if I’m doing it right. 2006 300C

My 06 doesn’t have it and some people are saying they’re 05 doesn’t either. They must’ve put it in the 07’s
