The Legend came true 😭😭😭 To be fair whilst Empress Dowager Cixi ( Noble Consort Yi) drove the dynasty into the ground. It was Empress Longyu also of the Yehe-Nara clan that signed the imperial decree ending feudal China.
5:35 - 5:45 Of course Jia wouldn’t have ever known that since she’s of Korean descent. Rewatching these clips gives me hints of foreshadowing that come WAY later (like how Jia and her servants are calculated against based on what they should/shouldn’t know as Koreans in China)
The fun fact is that by that time Koreans study and know Many things from china and they study poetry Confucianism and more they Even write and read in Chinese. So the argument of her being ignorant for being Korean is stupid. And more because she was a highly respectable lady during Qianlong's reign Even comming from a low background
I think it was more a nod to the fact that no one knows how the poem would be sung/performed. it's a pretty rendition of the poem, but not historically accurate (I know, I know, c-dramas and accuracy aren't a thing)
Well the mom knows her daughter in law’s schemes too. Ru Yi is just happened to be born in wrong family Clan that’s all, otherwise she’d first wife& Empress.
@@kateli1880 yes but then would Ruyi be the one sitting their awkward watching this? Or is this only to sniff out empress's schemes involving framing Ruyi and trying to influence empress dowager to execute her?
@@therealfinnaspring8585 in many episodes later after ruyi become empress it's yes... But in a different way... Ruyi will get trust more from her mother in law because she only will scheme to avenge or finding truth... In the last chapters, she will collaborate with empress dowager
It is s-o-o difficult to sing and dance simultaneously without forgetting the lyrics OR missing a dance move. Her voice is so beautiful and enchanting. The poem set to this music is well done. Her dance moves are cautious and well-timed to the music, too.
The song 醉花阴 of Shu Fei is beautiful and one of my favorite but I can't find a complete version without dialogue (except one but there's a unfortunate cut of dialogue) :'( Does anyone found one?
Fun fact: Empress Dowager Cixi, who’s famed for being one of the benefactor for the downfall of Qing Dynasty, was of Yehe-Nara clan.

Qing is already in a bad state before Cixi takes over, so it's not completely her fault.
I though the same when I watched this episode
That exactly what i said after watching this.!!!!!
They actually say Empress Longyu was from Yehe-Nara as well..

I wish to find that song too, it's gorgeous.
As soon as the dancing begins, the video's audio cuts out! 😭😭😭
I need the full song without the talking :(
I have one version remixed but there’s still remains a very little piece of dialogue
What is the name of the beautiful song in 4:20
