y'all know how computer science majors have that one indian guy on youtube that helps them. Zach is our guy that helps us. I'm visual learner and this helps a lot
Hello Professor Zach, Thank you so much for making pharmacology concepts so easy to absorb. Your lectures are perfects ( not much length and covers all the important information). I am preparing for my Pharmacy exam and having a 6 years of gap after my B.Pharm and M.pharm. But, before I go through the book, I first watch your video which really helps me to understand and retain concepts much better. Thank you Thank you Thank you soo much, for all your help in getting my license. keep up the good work.
I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH PROFESSOR ZACH! Just finished our exams and i got top 4 with the highest scores in my clinical pharmacy. Thank you for your help! 🙇🏻♂️🙇🏻♂️
The best medical channel on TH-cam, your videos are amazing man, you have taught me more than many doctors at my university, you make everything look so easy and understandable. Thank you
Hi Zach I am only a garden variety pharmacist but really enjoy listening to you when I walk for a couple of hours each week . Thanks so much for great informative presentations that are a pleasure to listen to. Just sad you weren't around in the 80s when I went to Sydney Uni because I don't think I've learnt enough comparing to what I don't know and what I am learning from you 🧐😯Timea S.
Hello! Your lessons are invaluable... i am a student nurse in my second year in France and in the thick of things... you make everything so attainable ... easy to follow.. fun.. I have shared with all my current class and professors ... loving it! Many thanks!
MORE MICROBIOLOGY LECTURES PLSSSSSS (esp fungi and parasites!!!) i passed my class thanks to you last year but this year is all microbiology and pathology and i need serious help please please
The test review at the end of each topic is really helpful, please do these for all your videos. Please bring back the ninja nerd icon for your merch? I will proudly wear that sweatshirt.:) to represent passing my classes because of your awesome teaching videos.
I had a total cholesterol of 279. Take Zetia 10mg daily, I did experience severe muscle pain when other statins were tried. (also levothyroxin but hours apart). No other health issues. Went to a whole food Vegan diet (almost a year now). Last check total cholesterol was 205, still high. My doctor said its genetics. Went down to eating once a day, made sure I dropped sugar as well I carefully watch it.. Would an additional med help like a "fibrate". Thank you so much for this video, I do understand a lot more!
Zach, your lectures are amazing! Thank you for continuing to film new content for us. Question - according to the ASCVD risk reduction guidelines from ACC updated in 2022, it is recommended to add bempedoic acid as the “next step” after PCSK9 mAb and ezetimibe and I’m curious why you haven’t added this drug option to this video. Is there a reason? (I haven’t been practicing while raising kids and I’m reviewing to jump back in the saddle so I may have missed something!) Thank you!
Sir you are just amazingly amazing I just can't you just make all this so amazingly interesting. Allhamdulilah I found a best teacher like you . Thanku for your amazing lectures
I’m 36, had small stroke, then major ischemic, I was 1 month postpartum, and 2 months post stroke. Low blood pressure. Was on 4 aspirins when had stroke, and heparin. Still don’t know why it happened. I’ve been fasting and still isn’t helping. I’ll try niacin. 🤷♀️
Heparin and aspirin shouldn't be taken together. Didn't your doctor tell you this? Next time ask or Google if certain drugs shouldn't mix . I hope you are better
Hey Respected Sir Zach Murphy ...... Hopefully uh will be doing great ......Sir Where are the Lectures Of Anaesthetics and CNS stimulants ......Sir Plz upload those lectures am extremely addictive towards ur lectures ND am unable to perceive anything from any other teacher or U-tube channel
Thanks for the lecture! What if the cause is genetic? Do the drugs that act in the GIT do any effect? Or just Statins, Niacin and PCSK9 Inhibitors? Can we have a lecture on what happens in familial hypercholesterolemia? Thanks
Does anyone who has taken or is taking Human physiology course have any recommendations on how to do well/ study advice etc.? I find it a very challenging course
I have a question concerning the bile acid sequestrants. If they decrease cholesterol and therefore increase the LDL receptors, wouldn't there also be an increase in HDL synthesis? Because low cholesterol leads to more increase in HDL
Bile acid squestrants can cause increase in TG isn't it because of more ldl receptor that will cause more IDL and chylomicron remnant uptake by liver and using them for the production of TG as they bound to ldl receptors due to apo E ?
You helped me through high school, and now you're helping me in med school. It's crazy how easy you make everything!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Me too
