Man I have 800hp and I can only put it down in 4th, 5th and 6th. Before that i have to run less boost so, 500 in 1st, 600 in 2nd, 700 in 3rd. I've driven plenty of 1000hp Supras and unless they are setup for drag they are pretty hard to drive fast on the street unless you're just doing freeway pulls from high speed. As soon as it hits boost, when it finally hits boost it just lights the wheels... not great for the twisties.
FINALLY! The aftermarket scene is catching up on Transmission Calibration! Auto Transmissions have been avoided due reduced driver involvement and lack of understanding/access of software and calibration Controls. I’m glad the aftermarket scene is catching up now. 😎👍
The new Automatic Transmissions allow calibration of clutch pressure via solenoids; where you’re able to graph “pressure-current (I)” curves based on turbine inlet shaft speeds. So as Turbine speed increases, the available clutch pressure (per some current-i) increases. Basically, instead of upgrading to a high performance clutch, one can simply re-calibrate the TCU to increase clutch pressure to hold/transfer more torque from the engine.
I have a question about Ktuner, I am doing an auto to manual swap on my 05 Accord with an Auto ECU an i-vtec it is not the 3 lobe VTech model, can I use ktuner for the manual transmission with no cels?
I run aem v2 on my built auto Supra. Was a learning curve dialing it in but it does great now. Feels stock around town and does what it needs to at wot.
I recently went single with my automatic MKIV. I went with a precision turbo gen 1 sp cea billet 626 turbo. I was advices to either go manual or get an expensive self managing system if I didn’t want to mess up my tranny. I haven’t enjoyed the turbos full potential and I really do not want to go manual because of the hassle and expense. Will this product work for me? If so, please send me the info to get. Thank you.

hey, you'd posted that 2 months ago! just seen it now.. yes there are old projects that were done years back, a guy installed a M3 DCT trans I blv and calibrated that to work, i didn't see what happened next and there is another guy who installed an IS-F trans into an A80, that's not a DCT but a VERY swift n quick shifter as he didn't want to use something out of the toyota family, i was very much excited to see the work in progress! you can youtube them, i wish i had the links to provide you!
It's not that you aren't a true Supra owner, just not a true driver. I don't think we will see auto's at the track for a few more years yet, even though the new supra's 8 speed is available for a80 bolt on.

I believe it would just be the A340e which is e for electronically controlled. otherwise it's a manual valve body with no electronics.
Some bad habits never die... Like running an open element air filter. Hard to tell by the video but might not even be rated for 1000hp.
What filter do you prefer? We can test it back to back and see if there is any measurable difference.
