Now that was a mouthful of information! Nice lineup for sure. Oh that dark cherry metallic! Yes please! Thanks Guillaume for the soundage. I also liked how you did the video. Thanks!
Gretsch is one of the last brands I have to add to my collection. I'm just being incredibly picky about which I choose, as I've a fondness for the brand that goes beyond my appreciation of the actual instrument. I used to play my uncle's Country Gentleman when I was just a kid, and since then, that specific one has been my dream guitar. Thanks for the video, folks.
In my opinion, the Player's Edition Broadkaster JR is one of the best model in the Gretsch high end line up. Great new colors especially the Ivory/walnut combo, however I prefer the 6659TFM (Dark Cherry without pickguard).
I really Love the 1st guitar shown with the Double Cut equal vertical linear Horns of the body on either side of the neck, but I would check into finish options on the body and headstock, a small fortune priced locally, but GR8T quality build, materials, features, playability and tone ! ! ! 🤗 I bought a DC 150 1978 model from Carvin, with all natural wood finish, and super distortion DMarzio pups on it, in excellent like new condition. I wore that guitar out and got a Epiphone Genisis DC and modified it up, and I did the same for a lady musician as well ! ! ! I am seriously into DC model guitars ! ! ! 😊 Peace & Play 🎸 On . . . 😎 DDHarris 1-17-2020.
1:35 that is total bullcrap, the tonality of an electric guitar is NOT affected by moving air caused by the wood or strings. In fact, you want the wood resonating as less as possible because that means energy is lost from the strings. Prefreably the stings should give most energy to the pickups which they do by moving in a magnetic field. Vibrating wood or air does NOT change a signal in a magnetic field.
Hello, I have purchased a Grestch G2220 on Thomann, black color. I’m confused about the word Electromatic is not showing on the headstock but on the green and walnut models it does. Also, the black model doesn’t show on Gretsch’s website. Is it a g2220 or a different model?
what the hell is going on with these i'm-not-allowed-to-say-but-i'm-winking-at-you scenes? anderton's video about the gresch line had one as well....? well everyone knows what this is meant to look like. last year i bought an eastwood 6 ac which was filling the gap that gretsch is covering with this model.
i wonder if they ever fixed their shitty pots that do absolutely nothing till turned all the way up or down on the electromatic series and my 2655 , those pick guards look awful screwed onto the body this guys voice is not good for an American show , these guitars look CHEAP really bad except some new colors , they definitly are dropping quality and specs
It's NOT an American show. Thomann are in Germany, which is a country in Europe, near France, where French people come from, whose language Canadians speak.
I like that they are expanding the double jet line. Very fun and versatile guitars. Love mine in Tahiti Red.
That‘s why Guillaume is so darn good: playing 24/7 😁
Great idea with the cut between presentation and listening example! 👍🏼
Very cool!
Oh Man I wish.... But thank you so much ! // Guillaume
Gretsch and Fender killing it!!!
Enjoy seeing Guillaume having so much joy playing these new Gretches. I like the gunmetal finishes on guitars!

insane value with this line
Love those jr models
Huuge Gretsch fan here ... There is load of sexi models ... Love the metallice gray and greens
Classiest guitars of all time
Those Rat Rods are insane! Gretsch always bring their A-game when it comes to new ideas.
I love the explanation of sound: wider pickups have fuller sound. Next will be: uncover pickups have more open sound
Works of art. All of em.

Go Gretsch!
I need the grey Rat Rod and both the walnut and natural Double Jets, get my rockabilly and killer rhythm goin on

Go Gretsch team.
Nice new guitars. Will you upload full review of new center blocks?
They all look great. I desire them all. Argh.

I can see a "roundup orange" in my future.. wouldn't mind a hardtale version though.. Many *very* nice guitars here. Thanx Kris (and Gretsch)

That natural and London Gray BT models are awesome! What's the prices on those?
I’ll be getting that lefty gun metal thanks Fender take note
I am going to buy the living shit out of that Electromatic Double Jet, they are sexy af in a natural finish!
Loving the violence of your enthusiasm haha // Guillaume

should bring back the original duel cutaway stereo falcon
That casino gold center block is stunning! Anyone know the difference with the new one? the new one is G5655T and the old one is G5655TG.
G just stands for gold appointments.
I love how Gretsch guitars look and sound but I hate glossy necks; doesn’t leave much choice.
Thank for a lefty’s version
Yeah yeah but what colors are they though?
I'll take the lot.
Never met a Gretsch I didn’t like.
Thomann's Guitars and _____________
Red inserts? whyyyyyy? I thought it was a sticker that needed peeling off.

Stop tailpieces? A Gretsch should have a Bigsby.
Some people don't want them.
Oi
Lame. Nothing at all on the G2420's and next to nothing on Hollow or semi-hollows. Not very good.

@@deaddoll1361 well its at the same time as namm 2020 in California lol
You can try their Pro or Players series if you think that Streamliners or even Electromatics are not good enough 👍
