These are some of the best guitars I've ever played... Extremely good value for the money.. Hands down Better than Fender in my opinion. I have an original radiator
My first guitar ever was a Radiator on lone from a friend's big brother. Played it the first 2 years and than I had to give it back... Awesome guitar! Now I play an early Session Model. Godin dies great stuff!!!
1998 Artisan signature. Master stroke from a Master craftsman. The Mona Lisa of guitars. Thank you Robert Godin. I am privileged to own and play such a fine instrument. Kia ora mai I Aotearoa New Zealand. Noho no mai.
That Carbon Black RN Radium is THE best guitar I have ever owned. The clarity of the tone and quality of that instrument far surpasses any of my Ibanez or Fenders (all of which I love by the way). It has the greatest tones for everything from a country twang to rock tones like Journey. Best money I have ever spent.
They make quality guitars, and at a very reasonable price point. Don't pass up on their Art&Lutherie series of acoustic guitars as well. I own one, and it's a really nice instrument.
I will say one thing, I owned 40+ guitars over last 15 years, I have a USA PRS now, before that I had a japanese ESP and a bunch of other guitars of many brands...an affordable Godin freeway EMG I had is still one of the best guitars I ever owned and I will never regret selling it, been looking for one for some time...These new t-styles (Radiums) are definitely something I will check out or maybe even buy but I have one critique - bridge looks like it has non-adjustable saddles which is kinda a deal breaker today when you want to use many different tunings etc...Please Godin change that :)
Mr Thomann just taught me bass wood is grown in America and Canada. I found Bass wood is warmer than say alder or poplar. I had an old 90's fender Mex strat. Nice tone.
Thanks guys! That Winchester Brown Radium looks great! I'm wondering how it'd look with Zebra pickups...hmmm...love the idea of having the selector switch at an angle, and the 3x3 headstock with the T style body! 👍 I need one! I need one of those A12s too! 😆
Fendar, Fander, Fondah, Findah, Fendoh ........... imagiine other companies being so hard to say but if you're not used to French, the nasal end without 'n' is probably hard ;-) - I have an SDxt from early 2000's but this Radium looks interesting (Bigsby might be nice on it). That slanted switch is better than the standard telecaster . The volume knob and switch on the telecaster are so close when at the bridge position.
Ordered my Radium already and can't wait to have it. But how to pronounce his last name? Goo-Done, Go-Dean, or Go-Dayn? The pronounce name website says it "Goo-Done"
A question for you guys who have played or own one of the Radium guitars: can this guitars produce a heavy sound? kinda Les Paulish? or is this more close to a tele strat sound? Thanks!!
I'm not sure man. haha! I have a 10 years old Triple Rectifier demo on youtube. I also run my own channel. Or you simply watched a few Thomann videos in the last few years. Like the one with John Petrucci maybe? Or have you seen me on That Pedal Show? Ahh man now that I think of it, I feel pretty bad about spamming youtube with my face...haha! //cheers, Kris
shatteredsquare yeah man, that demo is so old, it feels like it was recorded a 100 years ago. Haha! Happy you’re enjoying the current videos too. //cheers, Kris

Kris making the best namm videos just like last year. Thomann rocks!
Thanks so much Hugh! It was a lot of fun and we gave our best. So happy you enjoyed our coverage! //cheers, Kris
I've owned four. Still own three. Love them. Rock solid pro level machines without bling. Best Regards/Wishes Godin!

Really Love Godin guitar !
I have two basses from godin and absolutely love them. Wish godin featured their basses more often
Same here. Just got an eb5 and prefer it to my old musicman. The tone is crazy punchy and powerful
Good God I want that guitar.
Gorgeous guitars

Absolute Video! Fantastic job on this video.
Go man go it’s godin goodness for the masses to rock some ....(insert expletive)

What a beautyfull t-style guitar!!!!!!!! 😀😀😀
Pat, gran guitarrista y conocedor de guitarras !! Very nice guy !!
I really hope they bring back the original summit CT
Show some of those amazing Basses!
Are the Godin Summit classic still in production? Or this model shown at 5:22 in the video?
You have to move the tone control on the Radium. It's way too close to the output jack. It will be hard to make adjustments on the fly.
Godin, please make a a Strat Body with Carbon Black without Pick Guard...I will buy it !!! gorgeous
Those t styles
They were really pretty. Looking forward trying one out soon with a good amp. //cheers, Kris

"It almost looks like an old coffee table"... lol... I dunno maybe not the sales pitch I would have gone with

My best guess is Go-dayn, at least that's how I heard it from Pat in the beginning. Haha! Have fun with the guitar! //Kris
Well how is it ?
Would be great with stainless steel frets
why is the brown and the carbon black priced different? They appear to only have a finish difference.
There you go you hosers! :)
The cutaway isn't deep enough to access the 21st and 22nd frets. 🤷♂️

Absolutely, that's exactly what came to my mind when playing the bridge pickup.on my 59 Stadium
I wish they would resurrect the redline series. I really regret selling mine...
There is no "A" to say godain😁
Redline series?.... where's the metal players guitars dangit
That's what I was hoping to see too!
man the radium series gives my stoner sludge self a woody
why use rosewood? with the new cities issue its a nightmare to sell and travel
It's not relevant anymore. They changed it back again to normal at the end of 2019. Noone needs to worry about the regulations.
//cheers, Kris
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses where can i see that info?
Where have I seen that interviewer before??

they are very limited on left handed guitars
0:11 2029?
Lol 2020 namm
Really HORRIBLE, don't you drop an idea? Please be more creative.
Those high gain solo runs in the back are annoying as hell, don't you know how to play anything else!!
BTW I know you couldn't do anything about it...
Godin as boring as ever
Nope, they make superb guitars.
