    13:31 Easiest thing and most complimentary with a coffee that sprang to my mind to give free with a coffee would be small croissant pastry or mini doughnut in the same shape or square. Biggest expense would be finding or making the moulds but the great thing would be you can simply fill the pastry with flavoured ganache or creams to suit. (artisan baker and world bread awards gold winner).

    You are 100% rightabout the air in the soft scoop diluting the flavour. We run old school taylor gravity fed machines with no air pump. Our ice cream tastes so much more creamy. Its thicker and feels more quality. The down side is we use more mix per portion though.

    Great video James, as you now know I’m an absolute coffee lover so this is close to my heart. Did you make a decision on the coffee machines?

    hi James, im pretty well travelled but have only seen this once. north coast of tenerife outside a gorgeous ice cream shop was a lady sat at a circular spinning station. she was on a fixed seat and on the spinner were about 6 sort of waffle hot plates. she would put a squirt in one and put the lid down, spin it a bit and take the flat cone out and wrap it into a cone and on to the next. basicly a rotating production line. loads of people waiting and watching and then they customised them by dipping the rim in chocolate, nuts, etc i would be hunting one of those down!!!!!! premium cone for premium ice cream

    Ready to see the cone machine in action. For the sandwiches, do you not have turbo chefs in the UK? In the USA, the premium coffee shops have their commissary make them and there are presets to heat them perfectly on the machine.

    James, ive lived in uk my whole life and I have actually noticed there just isnt any good quality ice cream in the supermarkets in general. Its all very artificial . Except actually, the Scottish cream that you find. I actually think the UK supermarkets need more quality ice cream and better choice.

    People would definitely buy into paw patrol ice cream.
    A place near me did kids ice creams that came in a plastic cup with 3D animals on them. A proper cup you could keep, so of course we have loads and the kids always wanted a new one 😂

    Why don't you offer a premium range. Scrap all of the emulsifiers, stabilizers, food colourings, and palm oil. Use better quality ingredients and offer it at a higher price point, side by side to your current offerings. Test it in your shop. You can also do branded waffle cones. You can get a custom CNC food grade aluminum plate and cone maker from China for less than £1000. The USP is the smell of the cones been made in store. We make super premium ice cream and gelato in Mexico, and we have no problem with profitability. I would be very surprised if you couldn't make it work in the UK.

      That would be an obvious scam and HMRC would be all over it. Plus you’re now asking customers to go through some bizarre low-rent self service ritual with boiling water.

    if u sell the products in takeaway containers and then consumers sit in to consume it do you need to pay vat ... how about seats outside ?

    • @JamesSinclairEntrepreneur
      @JamesSinclairEntrepreneur  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If its consumed on the premises then its vatable regardless of the container or means its used to serve. If it’s consumed outside on your seats that’s vatable too.
