Glad to see you back in flosstube. You're looking well. I will be starting Dragons of the Sabbat next year. My plan, though, is stitch across the top, dragons included. I couldn't imagine stitching just the black. I love the whiteboard format, including Jen, the caffinated stitcher, and Kel stitches format. So I'm glad you're doing it too. I have 3 whiteboards and way too many makers...( stationary hoarder), doh! Surprised and happy that Suki received some of her items. Hopefully, she receives the rest and sues that company. It seems fair for you have the interruptions while filming, I have interruptions while watching! Plans, schmans. I have learned I’m not good at following rules/plans, not even the ones I create for myself.
I decided to change up my rotation as well. You and Jenn are addicting. I have 7 WIPS. Monogamous weeks for 7 weeks the 8 week is the one closest to a finish. Two finishes means new start. Wish me luck. Lol. Great video. 🇨🇦
Love the new board. Goals are only helpful if they are realistic for you. I think tweaking them as you go is just part of the process. I cross country in my diagonal. I don't love parking, even though I do see the benefit. Usually I just get frustrated with them being in the way and work them back in. But if you cross country in the diagonal, you get to see the image develop still while not having parked threads to wrangle. Love your challenge ideas with Jade, swapping trades. So much fun. Hope you get some good stitches time in.
I set myself goals as I pick up a piece. Eg what do I want to achieve on this right now. Sometimes a project stays out a week sometimes only a day depending where my mood takes me. If I’m too strict on the goals it starts to feel like a demand and bam! the joy is gone 🤪 At the end of the day the goal is finishing like you said 🪡☺️✨💜 I feel you with the diagonal and parking, that stuff is too chaotic for my messy brain 😂
I think I remember you saying you were a big wow player, I just started the expansion and it is like the old wow again. The main movie character is named Alleria, made me think of you😊 my stitching is really going to suffer now!
Hey Ailarra! Wonderful to see you again today! Today is packing day, tomorrow the truck will be loaded and we will move in and spend our first night in the new rental house. It will be so nice to be in a quiet neighborhood without upstairs neighbors clomping and playing loud music at all hours. Wonderful progress on Dragons!
