Upside down in a dish is the way to go, you can get the cone, but save the mess. I love your projects, thank you for sharing. Thank you for sharing life updates as well, your courage is amazing. Normalizing talking about mental health and struggles is the only way we can move forward to remove stigma and misunderstanding. ❤
I always love your videos You are so open about the difficulties you face and I admire your strength. I am so glad you finished with the ice cream story. I had tears listening to you So funny 😂😂😂
So sorry about your meds and health problems. "Oh my!" to your ice cream experience, glad you can laugh about it now!! I can't imagine having as many WIPs as you do and wanting to start more. It makes my brain hurt😳. ❤️💜
Hi Ailarra, it's sad that you even had to ask for a wet paper towel and they weren't standing there with them waiting for you. They could see the mess that was unfolding. That's like going to the store and after you pay for your items they say "DO YOU WANT A BAG"? Loved your video. Have a great day. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
So many beautiful stitching projects, we need to live forever to stitch all the things. Thank you for sharing not just your stitching but also life. I know where you are coming from and sometimes knowing your not alone in the struggle makes the harder times bearable. I will never be able to go past Cold Stone Creamery again without smiling because of your ice cream story.
Ugh, I'm sorry you're still struggling to find the perfect fit. Don't give up! Hopefully the right combo is just around the corner. Thank you for spending time with me 🥰🦄🪡💙
Hi Ailarra. I feel the pain on your meds issue. My insurance company just decided they were not going to cover one of my meds anymore. They completely took it off their covered meds list, so my doctor couldn’t even plead a case for me. So frustrating. I loved seeing all your beautiful stitching and hearing about your plans. The ice cream story was made me laugh. You are such a great storyteller! I felt like I was there watching it happen. All the best.
Loved your video! Your doing great! Love your smile! I have always looked forward to watching your flosstube and hearing about the outdoors and stitching. Most of us are struggling with something but we all are trying to put one foot in front of the other and continue to make progress. Your story sounded like your hair and arm were trying to convince you to have a spa day and get a milk bath. 🛀 I think they were suggesting you needed extra pampering! Hehehehe. You have a good week and I look forward to seeing your smile soon.
Yay, I won. That is so funny that I watched right to the end. Thought only 7 I got a good chance. Then it was me, yay!!! Totally okay to mail it from Canada. Save postage by all means. I got tons of other stitching to do.
Not a moan fest at all. Thank you for sharing. It's good as a prompt to check with ourselves how we are feeling as it's easy to miss things. And thanks for ice cream story. It made me smile 😊 you tell a good story
I am so, so sorry you have to deal with the meds screw-up. My pharmacy recently got bought out, and turned into a total disaster. My meds are all carefully balanced, and I ran out of two for over a week, it threw all the others off as well as withdrawals. Talk about hot mess express! Your stitching, as always is both gorgeous and impressive.
I'm so sorry to hear about your medicine debaucle!! It's scary being out of meds and off routine, and for some it's life-threatening. Hope you're back to having them on the regular again! 💙
Love your progress on your wips. I am so sorry for what you had to go through. I know exactly what you are talking about. I also have depression and it is a constant rollercoaster of emotions. Hang in there and just go day-by-day, at least this is what I am trying to do. Take care and Happy stitching!
Yikes! Sorry you had such a frustrating time getting your meds! But your ice cream story had me giggling😂. Great video as always always good to see you:)
Hi Ailarra, You be you. Feel how you feel. It matters! We all go through things and have every right to talk about it to our friends. Venting can take the pressure off so things are easier to deal with and having a sense of humor helps too. I will see you in the the springs next month. Hang in there. 😊
Oh my word. The ice cream story was sad and so well told. I felt like I was right there with you. I think I would have asked for a plastic bowl to stick it into. I once through out a drippy cone that was just too much. Take care. I found it interesting all your life updates.
Never stop venting! I really hope you get the help and or meds that make life fun again! The ice cream (I wrote ice scream😄) story was hilarious (although the stickyness was palpable through the screen😂)
Thank you for your movie length video Ailarra, I love them! What I don't love to hear though is you being screwed around by your medication fiasco, oh my you have the right to get angry and be angry with that whole situation. They need to get the their shit together so you (or anyone else) don't have to experience that in the future. I love your progress of your stitching, its so fun to see them grow and you have so many awesome projects, I could never get bored watching. The ice cream story had the tears rolling down my face and possibly because your delivery in person (on screen) was the perfect visual to me reading it in our chat. Thank you for the laughs and sharing your personal reality. You definitely have the support from me if and when you need it. Much love to you, take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
Hi Ailarra! Hope you are feeling a little better every day and that your medicines start working sooner than the 6 weeks or more that is the usual. Coming off those meds is not pleasant at all and then hoping and praying that they have the right combo is almost as bad. I can tell that my depression is not as well controlled right now either and I haven't even been finding pleasure in stitching, sometimes only putting 20 stitches in. Most of my stitching right now is because I don't want too get behind and not finish the October goals I set for myself. We finally cooled off here, so that means I am spending a lot more time outside with Walter. His mom and dad bought him a used kid's scooter and he loves it. He can't use it at home since the play area is only grass but here he has lots of pavement and sidewalks to ride it on. He has already figured out how to ride it like it is meant to be rode but still has to work on the steering part of it. I will send you a pic of him on it. We went to the San Gabriel Park this past Saturday afternoon for my son-in-law's birthday and had a great time, picture perfect day to walk along the river, feed the ducks and fish, and just enjoy the weather. Brought Walter home with us and he crashed on the way home at about 5:30 and didn't wake up until around 7. We were outside before 8 and it was only in the high 50s, enough that we both had jackets on. You made some really great progress on your 8 WIPs. Looking forward to seeing how your plans for next year work out. I have decided that I am going to start all my kits, or at least make a concerted effort to. I spent money on them and loved them all but they just sit there. At least if I have them started (I hate starting projects) then maybe I will put them out and work on them for prompts, etc. We will see how it goes next year. Take care of yourself. Hugs from Texas. Dawn
Hey Ailarra! I always love your videos, you have so many great projects! It's fun seeing the progress. 😁 I'm so sorry for the struggles you've been dealing with. I can relate to not feeling like it's okay to struggle, so thank you for the validation that it is okay too feel this way. I can also relate to your ice cream hair struggles. 😂😂This shit is all over the place!
Thank you so much for sharing all your stitching and trusting us with real life stuff. I hope it all settles down and you’re able to get meds all figured out. Here’s a cone on me🍦 !!😂
As someone in a country where the level of medical care you get is not tied to arbitrary rules about how much it costs or how much your insurer thinks you need it, I am actually so angry for you that you were put into that situation. What an absolute wank of system! Your dr can say you need this for your mental health and your insurer (who isnt medically trained I am guessing) can say no you don’t it’s too expensive? Jesus wept. All that said you could absolutely write a great book about your ice cream escapades, I was cackling my fool head off listening to you because I could see it so vividly unfolding in front of me. Your descriptions were only eclipsed by the flavour which sounded bloody marvellous! Take care, Nic x
Great progress on your wips 🙂I'm so sorry that you have to go through so much troubles with your medication and other stuff! I hope this new med will help soon, and this will be the right for you. And thank you for remembering, that all of our issues matter, even if someone has it much worse than the other one. I can be easily my worst enemy. Your ice cream story just cracked me up, alone at home, I laughed so loud 🤣🤣 I have always a "video" playing in my head, I saw you very vividly 😂 Thank you, Ailarra, and I wish you much better times in coming weeks. 🥰
I did prior authorizations for 3 years before transferring departments. It was the part I disliked the most. I tried to get to them immediately but I hated fighting with insurance companies! Some of these meds the insurance companies were trying to deny were meds patients had been on for years. I’m sorry you had to go through that. People who go to NP’s seem to love them for the main reason is they seem to listen way better then doctors because of their nursing background. I’m praying you get those results soon. That’s ridiculous you haven’t received them yet!
I’m WAY behind on Flosstube, but it was fun to catch up with you and your projects! I can’t believe your goal on the dragons - that’s a crazy amount of 310! Fingers crossed you’re able to finish it on time. Ugh, the number of times I heard people running into that same stupid issue with their meds while I was a medical assistant was just ridiculous. The insurance system in the US enrages me. I’m sorry you had to deal with all that, but I’m glad it’s been sorted out now and I hope you continue to feel better 💚 You could’ve been telling a story about me with the ice cream adventure 😂😂 I hate when that happens! At least you can laugh about it now lol. Take care my friend!
beautiful silks! also, thank you for the note about looking for "public domain / copyright free, etc" on shops - I have the licensed ones labeled but not the public domain ones; going to fix that ASAP!
Totally with you on the meds. I’ve been juggling them for years, and trying something new or making adjustments can be so scary. Especially if you are functional (if not fully functional) on one regime, you have no idea who you will be or what you will able to do during adjustments. I’m glad you’ve found a decent talk therapist, and hope that will be a good support for you.
Yes! That's exactly it! While it wasn't bad on the old regime, there's always that "but what if it gets worse" fear. Luckily, everything seems to be moving in the right direction so far! 😊💙🪡🦄
Wow thank you for joining and shout out ❤ we already closed out the autumn challenge here in Germany, but it's cool for a simple orange challenge 🤗 I kind of lost track over here who is not nominated yet, so I couldn't tell 🙈 awesome project you working on❤
First off Walgreens pharmacy suuuuucks! We were dealing with the exact same issues you were only the difference is that Walgreens here is open 9-5 M-F. So if you can’t pick up your prescription between that time you are SOL. Second, I was totally cracking up at 50 new starts. Seriously we need an intervention. 🤪 Third, I had the same thing happen to me with ice cream. I was a dummy and ordered a dipped cone when it was over 100 degrees in Iowa and a windy day. Hair blowing, drips everywhere (but the dip part) and ice cream everywhere! My husband just stood there laughing at me. I growled at him… take me back to the hotel so I can get a shower and change my clothes. 🍦😂 Take care my friend!
I go through the same thing with diabetes and asthma meds. I had to go 3 weeks without diabetes insulin twice. Why? Because doctors are prescribing diabetes meds to help people lose weight. Really?!?!?!
Hi dear Ailarra, so many great Projekts 🎉🎉...I like them all❤. I think it's great when German and English flosstubers network. Super that you participate in the german Challenge (Tanja @broetchenstickt). Sunny greetings from Bavaria and happy stitching
I love you Ailarra. I love your honesty. And the ice cream story was just as funny the 2nd time around.
Love you, too, girl! Glad it wasn't boring for the second telling 🤣💙🪡🦄

So glad to wake up to Ailarra, the Movie! Time for coffee and stitching with a friend!
Thank you for spending time with me! 🥰💙🦄
Definitely hear crickets. I feel for you. Fortunately the weather getting colder should solve the problem.
Yes, they've *finally* gone to sleep for the winter! 💙
I always love your videos You are so open about the difficulties you face and I admire your strength. I am so glad you finished with the ice cream story. I had tears listening to you So funny 😂😂😂

Sorry about your meds mess up. I loved your ice cream story. Sounds like the week I had. Love all your wips. Hope your plans work out.😊

love watching you. I am there with you on medicine. 4 years and still trying to find a good balance. I was laughing so hard at the ice cream story
