Love all you're projects and you will be in my thoughts. Mental health isn't easy regardless of what kind it is. I suffer pretty bad too, and I'm glad you have found something that's helping you 😊
Thank you for talking about your mental health. It is so important that we make this part of our regular conversation. Everyone should have at least a yearly mental health check up along with their yearly physical.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Great way to transition into the new year, I started watching your flosstube the last 10 minutes of 2023 into 2024. I just tallied my stitches for 2023 an amazing 222,623 stitches in 308 days 😁 Hopefully next year I will stitch everyday. Wishing everyone a better year than the best you've ever had before. 🎉
Hi Ailarra! You look lovely in your lilac sweater. Congrats again on completing your goal of Dragons of the Sabbat. The pattern Darren picked out for you will definitely be one nice piece of eye candy to watch you bring to life. You are correct that having the diagnosis doesn't make it any easier, it just gives it a name. Sometimes, though, it is nice to know that you were not imaging things and that there is a reason for the symptoms. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers over the upcoming weeks of course, and hope that your treatment plan works out well. Getting sleep is so hard but so important to our overall mental health. Thank you for openly talking about your struggles and progress. Hope 2024 is all good with great progress both with your diagnosis and your stitching. I took your illness place for the holidays. Mom was diagnosed with bronchitis so not sure if I caught it from her or if it is the same illness that Kristal, Eric and Walter have had. The mucus production is unreal. Poor Walter has been vomiting from the mucus. The big boy turns 3 on the 22nd and is getting smarter every day I swear. I think he is having some issues with having his cousins live at their house all the time and I can't really blame him. He is expected to act like he is older than he is because of the other kids and can only play with his toys in his room if it is something new that he doesn't feel like sharing, i.e. Christmas presents and birthday presents. If he plays with them anywhere else, then it is fair game for the older kids to take them away from him and play with them, which upsets me since he is not allowed to play with any of their toys unless he is invited into their room to play with them. He absolutely loves coming to Grandma and Gigi's since he gets undivided attention from us. I am afraid if his home situation doesn't change soon that there are going to be even more behavioral issues than a normal 3-year-old has. Thanks for listening. Hugs and love to you. Dawn
Awww, Dawn, thank you so much for your encouragement! I'm sensory to hear of Wlater's struggles at home. My stepsons had/have a similar situation with their cousin at their mom's house. Hopefully it won't be a permanent source of frustration for him 🫂. Hope you and the family are feeling better!! 💙
Happy new year! So glad you are starting to get some rest. Will keep you in my prayers. I picked the dragon for the HAED SAL. Here's hoping for a finish this year!
So glad you have finally got your diagnosis, hopefully things will start smoothing out for you. Wish your luck with the stitching challenge you have given yourself and look forward to following your progress. Not a floss tuber but a 30+ year stitcher. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Ailarra! Hoping for continued good mental health for you in 2024 and physical health too! I need to show you on insta some time the MASSIVE full coverage kit my daughter in law brought back from China for me. It’s a beast LOL but her mum has one that is 6 metres long! In American money that is over 19.5 FEET!!! Am grateful she picked a smaller one for me LOL - take care, Nic x
Your story was quite moving since its so similar to mine. I was diagnosed with depression but symptoms werent getting better. After some more time, I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and it rocked my world. Getting a correct diagnosis has been such a relief. I'm so glad to hear you're making progress. Can you see me waving my pom poms?
Oh wow! It's amazing that diagnoses don't change who we are, but it does put some things into perspective, eh? Thank you for sharing a bit of your story with me. I feel like personality disorder diagnoses are perhaps the less understood mental health issues out there and maybe need to be talk about even more they they are! 🫂💙
Happy New Year! Going to be fun to see what goals you can get done. Glad you have a diagnosis...it really helps even if it is not what you thought it was going to be. Glad to hear you are getting sleep!
Another great video, thank you for sharing your time with me. You are welcome for the gift 🎁🎁. Look forward to spending more time with you each fortnight X Take care and happy stitching 🌷🌷
So happy to hear you got a diagnoses that’s not a misdiagnosis. These kind of things can be so hard to get right. I’m sorry it’s such a shock for you, but you already seem to have the right state of mind about it. The only thing it’s changing, is that you can get the help that really works for you! It doesn’t change you or define you. I’m really curious to hear what it is, cause these kind of things interest me (and I’m kind of convinced there is a label out there that fits me too🫣), but you’re so right to only share it when it feels right for you! You look really good and seem to do well, that makes me happy. I hope this stitchy rotation adds to that💙💜
Thank you for your sweet words and encouragement! I'm slowly getting it processed and incorporating it, but I'll get there! It really is such a relief to have a focus for therapy now! Thank you for all your support 🥰💙
Happy New Year!! 🎉🎉 So happy for your Christmas miracles!! You look great! Well and rested. You picked some great projects to start the year off ! Can't wait to see your progress. Finally finished all the stitching on the kiss, starting on the beads, hope to finish soon, yay!! Will post soon. Happy Stitching!!💕💕😊😊
@@Ailarra918 Thank you and sending goodness your way! ☺ I started a new project tonight while listening to your video. It's a stamped cross stitch kit from Amazon of a Kitten called Little Fat Cat. 😃 I saw it and needed to stitch it! The aida is heinous (very, very starchy, no hoop required)! 🐈
Happy and HEALTHY New Year to you and your family! I just finished watching all your videos, some to the end, some not. I have cross stitch questions. I’m a needle pointer. Counted cross stitch scares me. I am noticing that some of you do a “tent” stitch. This, to me, is needlepoint. Can I do these cross stitch charts in this stitch or do full needlepoint? I would be more comfortable doing this than struggling with the cross stitch. Keep up the great work, as I look forward to seeing you. And, stay calm and keep stitching. Renee
Hi Renee! Welcome to cross stitching! You can absolutely use the same methods as Needlepoint on cross stitch! You may just need to adjust the number of threads in your needle so help with coverage. Check out Suki, the Brown Eyed Stitcher's youtube channel - she is doing a Super Sized Max Color chart in tent stich and uses many Needlepoint techniques for her stitching! P.s. thank you for watching so many of my videos! I bet that was a marathon and a half, even if you didn't watch some all the way through 😂💙
Thanks so much. I have started watching Suki and her tips are very helpful. This flosstube thing is a real rabbit hole. I keep finding more to watch. Wel,, can't wait to start.
So each square is considered a stitch for my yearly total. If I'm working in half cross, one leg will equal a stitch, if I'm working in full cross, two legs equal a stitch. Same thing if it's a mix of both. Hope that answers your question and not dumb at all! Thanks for watching! 💙
It sure is! Not sure where I got next year as the goat 🤔. Divine and Eden Serpent will just have to make appearances next year more. Oh, darn (can you hear the sarcasm 😂) 😁💙
Congratulations on finishing your goal on your dragons. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Happy New Year!!! Good luck with the new rotation!!! Thanks for talking about mental health. It is so important to talk about things like that.❤❤❤
Thank you! And even when it's hard, (or because it's hard) it seems like that when it's most important! 💙
Love all you're projects and you will be in my thoughts. Mental health isn't easy regardless of what kind it is. I suffer pretty bad too, and I'm glad you have found something that's helping you 😊
Thank you so much! A good support network sure does help! 🥰💙
Thank you for talking about your mental health. It is so important that we make this part of our regular conversation. Everyone should have at least a yearly mental health check up along with their yearly physical.
Thank you for listening about it! Wouldn't that he amazing if a mental health checkup was automatically included in a yearly physical?!? 💙
Happy New Year!
I cannot even tell you how much I would love to just hug you right now.
I will take that virtual hug and send another right back to you 🥰🥰🥰
I’m so sorry your diagnosis was so unexpected but I’m glad you are finally getting answers to questions you have had for a long time. Hugs!
Thank you! It really is good that I have a better direction and focus now! 💙

Dumb question is each cross considered two stitches or one for your count? Just curious
