I had the good fortune to see Queen live when I was younger. Freddie was a master showman on stage. Taken from us much too soon. The fact that he continued to record with Queen when he was very sick near the end of his life says how much he cared about the music and his fans.

Roger - with those incredible vocals while drumming? Oh, no -- John on the bass? this is and has always been an amazing collaboration - I'm wicked old, so was privileged to see them live a few times - and even to briefly meet the band as a 16-yr old -- everyone was charming, funny and cool -- some of my best memories... This is the end of the huge Magic tour in 1986 (Live Aid was July 1985) it finished off with 2 nights at Wembley they could have done more but Wembley wasn’t available so they put another concert on a few weeks later at Knebworth which was the last time with Freddie , Brian wrote this for the Highlander film x

I have all the album's just discovered them too late to see them live, so it spurred me on to see concerts of huge artists to make sure I don't miss out again. Under Pressure is a unique collaboration with David Bowie who happened to be in the same studio when they were recording and he helped to put the track together, two true icons together. Radio Ga Ga is another track which was written with the fans in mind to get them involved in the song at concerts to make them part of the experience. If you react to this make sure it is the Live Aid performance as to watch 100,000 people perform with the band is truly magical. I'm not sure any other band has ever had the level of engagement from an audience as Queen did.

It's one of the top 2 or 3 songs by Queen as far as I'm concerned but it never gets airplay on the radio and no one reacts to it but it seriously kicks ass.

Wembley wasn’t the end of the tour. There were quite a lot more shows after in the tour in Spain, France, etc. You’re right about Knebworth tho.
