Somebody to love live in Montreal is a great way to start listening to Queen, Freddie brought all his skills to that performance and it's impossible to miss the talent that drummer/vocalist Roger Taylor has 👑

As mentioned this was from the Highlander movie. Highlander was about an immortal. The love of his life ages and dies. He doesn’t. So the question in that context - who wants to live forever?

I was attracted to your channel because you reacted to Queen, many on here will be here because of Queen. It will be the best rabbit hole you go down and will gain you many subscribers. Queen have arguably the most amazing catalogue of any band or artist. FWIW "Who Wants to Live Forever" often makes me cry, as do many of their songs.
This song was written for the Movie "Highlander". About a guy who finds out that he would "live forever" and the emotional question mark was when he got married, but didn't age. His beautiful wife just got older... and older, until eventually dying of old age. But he hadn't aged, thus the question "Who wants to live forever?"

Since you’re going down the Queen rabbit hole, I suggest going down the Marc Martel rabbit hole who is not an impersonator, but Freddy’s voice born again. They said there would never be a voice like his again and luckily we were blessed with Marc.

Great reaction, but to give a little advice on behalf of all the hundreds of thousands of Queenie's out there (which will massively enhance your platform) you must always do the LIVE performances of Queen as they're just about the only band that sounds more phenomenal than the studio versions, there are two LIVE version to chose from, either from Wembley in 1986 or from Budapest in 1986 please do. RIP my hero Freddie Mercury ............ btw Freddie passed away (from what you say)the year you were born in 1991 so sad :(
This video version cuts off about a little over a minute of beautiful outro instrumental off the album version.

The members of Queen are all highly talented and have all written number 1 songs. They also all have University Degrees and not in music.
I cannot understand why Queen' s official channel have cut the last few minutes of this track. Beautiful ending and missing probably the most important line of the song "who waits forever anyway?'

This song LIVE in Budapest takes the performance to another level. Yes, the live "gems" might just blow your mind: Early days, LIAR and STONE COLD CRAZY live @ The Rainbow 1974. From there to SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Montreal - what a journey.
A band of four great musicians led by Freddie Mercury, the GOAT, the best frontman of any band, ever. They don't make music like this these days because all this happened back when you needed TALENT to succeed.

Random as hell song to react to but it’s a decent track. Live aid or greenday crowd at Hyde park singing bohemian rhapsody is the ones everyone reacts to.
If you want something else random as hell try Top Secret Drum Corps at Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2022 I think. Even if you don’t react to it it’s pretty impressive

What you need to do is watch the video with clips from the film HIGHLANDER cut into the video. You don't need to do a reaction but you will understand why he's asking the question "Who wants to live forever?"

Jeeeez.... Saw the pop up and had to watch. Highlander is one hell of a film. A whole dayum soundtrack from royalty, and aptly named thereafter ❤ I would 100% watch a movie reaction to this from you guys. Henry Cavill is about to be in a new version. But the original is epic
