    Small correction, the original SP did not go to sleep when the clamshell closed. The DS did that, but the SP would stay running with the screen on when closed!

      Yep, sleep functionality would have to be programmed into GBA games, not a lot have it. The EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition has it built in to the firmware though if you want to do it.

      For people that asking "why", your mouse sensor also use the distant between the sensor and the pad when tracking, and for something more sensitive and fine tuned like most high end gaming mice it simply stop tracking cuz people do lift the mouse up for even just a mm or 2 as a way to stop the mouse.

      Different mousepads have different speeds. Ptfe skates will still be slow on a control pad like the type99, gsr, or qck. If you want real speed then a glasspad or glass skates on a fast pad like the artisan raiden or shidenkai will slide like ice.

    doesnt... doesnt windows change the output automatically? i feel like i'm missing something, if he has an amp it would make more sense, but most amps do the change automatically to right? unless it detects the extension as a headphone and mute the speakers, the switch has no purpose in how he wants to use them, it makes sense if he wants to let them plugged in though

    • @icecoldsnakeYT
      @icecoldsnakeYT หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the audio driver. Realtek like most people have has the option to tie the speaker out output to the headphone jack on the front I/O and the option to automatically switch. But if using an external sound card like a Focusrite, an audio switch is useful to quickly swap. But with Win11, you can Win+Ctrl+V to quickly switch. Plus with a physical audio switcher you're introducing another link in the chain that can change the quality. Not for me!

    1:32 this is absolutely, definitely, unequivocally not how physics work
    you can't directly translate visual displacement into a "graphic" like that and say it was a 10~20% difference 😭
    the forces at play in the gliding of the mouse are plenty, and they aren't linear. also, a difference in how much it moves when blown by air (given an initial velocity) vs the tactile and responsive feel when moving the device by hand aren't going to necessarily be related.
    anyway, kinda nitpicky, but that test had zero actual uses 😭😭

    Isn't there an app or something that you can use instead that maybe you can use one of your mouse buttons as a dedicated button to switch between headphones and speakers? I've been considering that for a while but I haven't looked into it and I think the switch is cool that you have but I don't see why it couldn't be done on hardware side instead Like maybe something that you pinned to the toolbar and you can just easily switch between the two. The problem I have right now I mean it's not you pretty much have it that that switch on the right hand side on Windows 11 but for whatever reason and maybe maybe I just need to like maybe there's something I can do to just remove but there's all these different wordings for stuff that I don't need like virtual headphones virtual this and I'm like what I just need the two things to toggle between you know headphones and speakers not all this shit that I don't use

    Glass skates will wear down the mouse pad giving "slow" spots. Just be aware.
