Small correction, the original SP did not go to sleep when the clamshell closed. The DS did that, but the SP would stay running with the screen on when closed!
Yep, sleep functionality would have to be programmed into GBA games, not a lot have it. The EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition has it built in to the firmware though if you want to do it.
thank you for the correction. I also owned the silver DS and my brain must have combined the memory of leaving pokemon games on sleep for days on end lol.
@@roman_empire24_79 yes i just carefully used a smallish knife / box cutter or something similar like a smaller nail file would even work, make sure when the old ones are off that you also clean the old sticky glue off too otherwise the ending fit on the new mouse skates will be wonky
For people that asking "why", your mouse sensor also use the distant between the sensor and the pad when tracking, and for something more sensitive and fine tuned like most high end gaming mice it simply stop tracking cuz people do lift the mouse up for even just a mm or 2 as a way to stop the mouse.

the MX 3 already glides so much that I routinely make it fall of my desk by just bumping into it, so I'm not surprised the update doesn't make a huge diff
Different mousepads have different speeds. Ptfe skates will still be slow on a control pad like the type99, gsr, or qck. If you want real speed then a glasspad or glass skates on a fast pad like the artisan raiden or shidenkai will slide like ice.
Considering he was comparing the new skates to the weathered skates on his current mouse, and didn’t compare it to a Logitech mouse out of the box, I wouldn’t be surprised if the new skates were a 10-20% over skates that have been used for a period of time, but practically no difference from the brand new condition original skates.
For the headphone and speakers. I recommend the FIFINE Audio Mixer with sliders. it has tons of inputs and outputs, also has a built in sound card. Sometimes it is on sale for 50.00 or less.
Your main desk monitor setup looks exceptionally great. What size monitors are you using to make this three-monitor setup, or have you discussed this setup in another video? Thanks for making these videos.
Just so you know for the MX skates (as well as other mice) you should remove the original skates, bare plastic should show, then clean off any residue and put on the new ones, in the vid it looked like you just placed them on top of the old ones
Excellent video! I'm Brazilian, and about two years ago, I found your channel and loved it. I like to use your videos to train my English and always get new ideas to improve my PC setup.
Thanks for the MX mouse sliders link. Exactly what I need after having to open up my mouse to clean some junk out of it that was messing with the scroll wheel. The stock pads did not come out of the repair unscathed unfortunately after needing to remove them to access the screws hidden beneath them.

1:28 you did not blast air at the same way. Before direct at side. After $10 pads, you started about 5 below then up. Guessing: the pads-on after might have slid further
I literally just bought the electrical components to build my own version of the audio splitter, and now all of a sudden I start finding products that fit into that niche 🤦. I'm not that upset though because my speakers, for whatever reason, are much louder than my headphones and just raw swapping the signal I would still need to adjust the volume on my laptop. The version I'm building is going to have independent volume control for each output to level the volume between the 2 devices.
The ptfe skates you got require a break in period try that test again after a few days of heavy use and it’ll be a world of difference. Also you are meant to remove the old skates first

Hey I was wondering what widgets/apps you use on your mini monitors. I watched you mini-monitor 2 vidoe and was very curious about what apps you used to create the calendar, clock, etc. Also what app did you use for the music player on this 5 inch monitor?
6:21 Does this monitor light turn on and off with the monitor power(if plugged in there) or do you have to turn it on secondarily? Never had one and interested in it being integrated like this to minimize all the switches
doesnt... doesnt windows change the output automatically? i feel like i'm missing something, if he has an amp it would make more sense, but most amps do the change automatically to right? unless it detects the extension as a headphone and mute the speakers, the switch has no purpose in how he wants to use them, it makes sense if he wants to let them plugged in though
Depends on the audio driver. Realtek like most people have has the option to tie the speaker out output to the headphone jack on the front I/O and the option to automatically switch. But if using an external sound card like a Focusrite, an audio switch is useful to quickly swap. But with Win11, you can Win+Ctrl+V to quickly switch. Plus with a physical audio switcher you're introducing another link in the chain that can change the quality. Not for me!
There are 5 different "RG35" devices, probably beset to differentiate them since they're priced differently/have different features, and 1 of them has a completely different chipset from the rest of them.
Is the portable desk actual leather or pleather? If its pleather itll peel fall apart in no time. Pleather comes off the factory rack with a built in self destruction timer.
For real (commenting hoping for a reply notification). I've badly wanted to upgrade my painful stock cups for a while but the ones that people always used to recommend for them aren't even manufactured anymore. I also didn't even know you could change the band :O
"Why not use a phone? - Phone gets notifications" You can just get an old (up to a decade old, you really don't need much from it) Android phone or tablet for pennies, permanently connect it to a charger, and use either as a monitor or standalone. No notifications (and you can turn them off if needed), large touch-capable screen, and ability to work standalone if your PC is taken up by something like a game.
Physical audio switch is a complete waste of money and desk space when you can just do it via software with EarTrumpet, you can setup a keyboard macro to switch audio output. Far smarter investment would be an audio amp and/or dac for future audiophile headphone upgrade that requires a bit more juice. The tft screen is also kinda pointless when you can output your pc using your existing tablet as another monitor via usb or wifi connectivity with a paid application called Super Display(outputs up to 120hz refresh rate if the tablet has supported display) or free application called Space Desk (same connection methods but only up to 60hz refresh rate).
i too am obsessed with my office set up lol its getting bad. i have zero need for more shit, but i end up spending more time on looking for shit to help me do work, than actually doing work. i have external 3 monitors, on top of 2 macbooks, and both a large and a small tablet. oh and both an Android and Apple phone lol
About to upload a video about the monitor layout because I've been rocking it for 6 months. It's a 42in OLED in the middle, and two 24 inch portrait monitors on the sides. It's wild.
How did you get to the conclusion of reducing friction by 10%? I don’t think the force exerted by the air blower is going to be linearly related to the distance from the blower - was there some calculation behind the scenes involved?
