I'm 100% convinced that people got Ikarano sponsorships which they didn't disclose. The amount of this specific unknown brand popping up on at least 10 tech channels I follow in the last 2 weeks is highly suspicious. Oh and undisclosed sponsored content is in many places illegal. Just saying. Don't know your situation, but other bigger youtubes should get punished for pushing crappy alibaba plastic ewaste onto their audience and marking it as "things you definitely - not sponsored - need to buy TODAY".
As long as they disclose that they received it from them to test, and it’s marked as an affiliate link in the description, it’s fine. But…if they got paid to showcase it…they need to disclose that too and call it their sponsor of the video or segment of the video. Notice I said showcase and not review. Nobody should be getting paid to “review” their product. Too biased. Honestly, getting to keep the products is not even that big of a deal. There is no other way for them to check it out and most channels aren’t going to spend the money on these products when they can get them to test for free (not really free as they have to make content on them) so it’s more like a trade.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one to notice this... Especially when it's completely random to channels like WFH or LTT... Seeing it here/on the thumb nail photo was a huge head scratching moment
@@efad3215I mean. He did disclose it in the video. He was invited to try it out and said it was sent by the company. What more would he need to disclose?
My biggest complaint about ergonomic keyboards is for whatever reason I learned to type by touch using my right hand for the "B" key, and this is the first one that has the B on both sides!! I might have to buy
I assume it's actually not disclosed sponsorships. LTT does this all the time. Even though it's illegal in Canada. But who cares right? Why not shill plastic China crap to their audience for 100k in cash. Who needs morals when you have money.
I'm not a psychologist, but I understant that the association of the weight to the quality comes from a historical experience of cheaper devices use cheaper materials that often are hollow, or lack components, you can tell this when you have an original phone charger for example, and then you get a knock off charger of the "same model" you can tell them appart just by the weight. some chinesse manufacturers even add weights inside of some products to make them feel less cheap.
So are you using the num pad with your non-dominant hand, or do you reach across to the left to use it? I feel like having to do either one of those would break me.
That’s a beautiful mike. Old-style gadgets when tastefully done really class up the joint! Radio/speakers are another form factor I like in old timey style. 😊
I'm a psychologist, and the preference for heavier keyboards stems from a blend of psychological factors: the reassuring heft provides a tangible sense of stability, reinforcing the user's control and ego; classical conditioning links the weight to productivity, while the tactile feedback releases dopamine, creating a rewarding experience. Evolutionarily, heavier keyboards evoke the primal use of substantial tools, enhancing the sense of mastery over one's environment. Additionally, their robustness instills trust and reduces cognitive load, enabling users to focus better, and their professional appearance commands respect, subtly influencing social dynamics. Thus, the weight of a keyboard serves as a profound psychological anchor in the digital age.

@@ianmcadorey2398LTT makes sense. Linus' 3 kids.
Here? Not so much without a sponsorship of some kind.

@@1234dortega I hadn't gotten to that point yet in the wfh video tbh

just saw the karaoke device on LTT lol
yeah same
If only I was a faster video editor I could have beaten Linus. 🫠

Right handed typist too. I buy tenkeyless ones so I can place the numpad out of the way.

the mic range on the karaoke speaker is pretty decent too, picked me up from the neighbor's yard

Does anyone know what is the LCD clock he has on on his desk at 2:32 ?
I would also like to know because it looks very similar to the vaporware kickstarter that I loved right up until it broke.
And the useful gadgets comes in another vídeo or what?
What? Too difficult for you to be nice on here??
You are right; I forgot I'm not on Twitter.
The only one that is not useful is the last one. The others are nice, especially the charger
Sad life of yours eh
@@shhhhlemon4936 Bro, you're the one getting mad at a stranger's comment on a video that's not even yours. Looks like you won the sad life contest
I agree these all suck
Sweet setup... How much of it did you buy yourself for regular price?
For the setup, he probably paid for most of it himself. Then filled in the gaps with what was given to him where he could.
0:48 time went backwards~
lol! just when you think the "i reversed it cuz itll look better" edit will go unnoticed...
Same question. What is this clock?!
I thought the last thing was an airfrier😂😂😂
oh, its gonna be a good day.
How big is your desk mat? LXW?
I like the clock app you’re showing on the phone charger. What’s the name of the app?
it’s a built in feature on iphones called standby mode, i believe it exists on ios 17 and beyond
As others mentioned below, this is just the standby mode clock on an iPhone 15. There a few built in clock faces and I hope they expand customization.
Cool, thanks! New iPhone owner here, still learning ☺
Liked the video right when he coughed 😂
How do any of these help with actual work?
Like going to parties. Lol like parties still exist.
