Great series! Hope you're going to cover how to get the birds wings to fold nicely. I've never been able to get the feathers to work nicely as the bird transitions from wing extended to wing folded

Thank you so much for this video! I have been waiting for this video since the beginning of 2024 where I did a toucan rig with native maya tools (no Adskl) and I was in hell trying to create the control curve, well I couldn't do it but I completed the rig without the control curve! As I had to do all the other joints and controls and it was my first ever rig tbh for a short film! There were no tutorials on the internet that showed how to do it in maya. I would also appreciate if you could make a tutorial on how you did the micro body feathers on the body, as placing them manually is a challenge! Thank you so much!❤❤

I don't get the purple controllers in each feather when I rebuild. It says 'IKCurveInfoNormalizeSpine_M.outputX' is already connected to 'IKCurveInfoAllMultiplySpine_M.input1X'.
Hi, does the rebuild advanced skeleton successfully complete, or does it stop with this error? Can you check you don't have anything with the same name, not even inside any groups, you can search for free mel scripts to do a deep check for you
@@AnimatorArtistLife I am having the same problem, the controls in the wing are missing, I check the names and I do not have repeat names and the problem continues.
