Fun fact: the end of the song "how are you neutral Johnny Bull" is a reference to the United Kingdom that stayed neutral but privately most of the British politicians supported the Confederacy and this created a lot of problems in relationships between the US and Britain

The British Empire didn't get involved because the Russian Tsar sent a warfleet for the Union. And what thanks and love America gives to Russia now eh?

@@ZepellinWhen did Russians stop existing and get replaced by doppelgangers? Unless you're a fellow monarchist (based) who wants Tsar back this is nonsensical.

      The reason is threefold.
1: The CSA already had a plan to free its slaves without ruining the economy or leaving said slaves impoverished, all the USA had was the Emancipation Proclamation... which was merely an order to the CSA to free ITS slaves immediately.
2: The CSA declared independence the same way the 13 Colonies did - but unlike then, in this case it was Constitutionally above board.
3: The Confederated States had never waged war on Britain, and in fact served as a land break protecting Canada from US aggression like in 1812.
