Correction: I should've put Abe Lincoln instead of Mccllelan.
I knew it sounded different
@@matthewdelmaro1793 I know I thought the same. All good, Archivum thanks for clarifying!
The lyrics is supposed to be McClellan
1:10 No wonder the Confederacy lost, the Union had Gordon Freeman among its ranks.
lol
lmao good reference to HL.
This is one of my favorite American Civil War Union Marches. I feel that in the beginning, it serves as a call to awaken soldiers and prepare to march. I appreciate how it relates to the title of the song
Screw McClellan my bros and I are on the Grant gang
God bless our Union!
"McClellan's brilliance" the irony
tho its a good song and the union forever 🇺🇸
Its catchy, yes?
It is Abe Lincoln I think. Although for all his problems commanding a campaign McClellan did train the Army of the Potomac well, so they might credit him there. He just made such a pretty army that he was afraid to use it nor was he able to accept that the whole plan is often useless as soon as the first shot is fired.
I believe he was popular with the troops despite his failures militarily
@@thatreddude8796 "failures"
In the original version of this song it was McCellan, but whoever sung this version decided to use Abe Lincoln instead
That Atlantic accent though...
As a Reenactor this is actually my favorite version of this song
For the united states of America 🇺🇸 and everyone thar die to protect our home!
It sounds like Abe Lincoln not McClellan.
Actually, yeah. Sounds like Abe Lincoln
Not gonna lie, he sounds like a Bostonian. Specifically JFK.
@@GrizzlyJacko Noticed your flag, New England/New York definitely won us the war with the South due to their industry and population, but my home state of Washington, a territory at the time, had raised a volunteer regiment itself. God bless Colonel Justus Steinberger and the 1st Washington Territory Infantry Regiment
Song starts at 0:29 by the way
Willing to march, but my money is on Grant.
No, Billy Sherman is the best
Abe Lincoln’s our leader he’s gallant and Strong🫡❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
God bless USA and the soldiers that sacrificed their blood. From Sri Lanka.❤❤🗽
Maple leaf forever, awesome.
When I started the video I thought how it's even song 💀
x2
This is the only version I've heard say Abe Lincoln, weird
Sounds like my dad
A fucking union song.
Vive Dixie !
Dixie lost, cry about it
@@astrotrek3534 Dixie will rise again cry about it
American Forever, The Union Forever, The Eagle Forever
Go home confeddie oh wait you can’t because Sherman burnt it to the ground
