When the dancer started telling her story about the corset I was wondering from the beginning where they were cutting costs. When she got to the clasp i was like ah theres the money saving tactic.

At this point i feel like there isn't much that can happen on stage that would faze him. He would just be like "Well! That happened...." And just walk away, on to the next show.

Mrs. Barbadianna I swear walking on the side walk is actual hiking near our place. The tree roots have completely made mountains of the pavement and the drop down to the road is easily 4feet in some places. By about 9 or 10 in the busy season, someone has fallen into the road ... daily. 😖
But when it rain storms you are happy to not be walking in a foot of water so.🤷🏻♀️ win-lose I guess.

Omg as a costume designer I couldn't help but shudder as soon as she explained the back of that corset and new exactly what was going to happen. You never put a dancer in a corset that it held together by a busk you always make it a lace up with very strong laces like with very strong steal eyelets with boning on both sides of the eyelets.
I don't get it... Are some people really using a busk as a back fastening like a zipper ? This is supposed to be rigid, strong, on the front and there so that you don't have to undo the laces on the back on actual corsets 😱 how could that be used for dancers who need flexibility ?
I thought she meant some sort of bad hook and eye fastening...

boom inyourface yeeessss I had a girlfriend who could dance and also a boyfriend once who could dance and I am a shy person but when they would start dancing in public I couldn’t look away
@@HopeCasias10 ohhh yes. I do ballroom dancing and our teacher is incredible, he also does Hip Hop and free style and basically everything you could imagine and his moves are just so smooth and mesmerizing

@@HopeCasias10 nooo stop go ahead and try it out!!! Those people were beginners at some point too!!! And you don't have to start with the super advanced hard core stuff, just try a beginners class of anything you'd like! It really gets you out of your head and it's incredibly satisfying when you nail a move or a choreography
