That last one I literally would have just kicked them out. If you are ruining a special day that is once in a lifetime and you are refusing to cooperate for pictures then you need to leave because that is so unfathomably rude.
I almost kicked a bridemaid out of my line a few days before my wedding, but realized it would completely throw off the walk down the aisle (we used a song dedicated to a late family member and things were timed) so she stayed. I just kind of ignored her on the day and tried to have as little interaction as possible lol
I've been a bridesmaid once, and if I could, I would have turned it down. But it was for my dad and stepmom's wedding so I felt I had to say yes. It's overrated, don't even bother trying to imagine doing 5 times

@@Tlove4321 right?? What year was it that it takes 7 months to get something from China? And three weeks is enough to find someone in the neighbourhood who knows how to sew to fix that dress sizing issue
It's probably because usually they just kind of show up. They don't have to do fittings, and showers, and all of that stuff months in advance. They get a rental tux, slap on a boutonniere, stand there for photos, done. With bridesmaids, it is an ORDEAL.
Yeah, I have 3 friends, 2 are closeted gays, the last one is a man, with enough male friends. I already made up with the idea of not being a bridesmaid-best ma’am, but I still trust him to have a wedding (of someone I care and not some long lost cousin that I don’t know) to attend xD
Bridesmaid number two, who is hilarious, reminded me so strongly of the actor Natasha Lyonne, who plays Nichols on Orange is the New Black, that I literally googled her name to accurately comment about it. I'm so satisfied.
I absolutely REFUSE to be a bridesmaid [anymore]. When I get married, it’s just a simple elopement, nice honeymoon. No parties, no ceremony. Too expensive, and I hate my family.
It depends on the bride. When I got married, I had the girls pick their dresses from Azazie, which have nice quality dresses starting at around 50 USD, and told them to buy whatever silver shoes they wanted to go with it. I also paid for their hair and makeup, and their accessories. All in all, they only paid around 150 dollars each (a high estimate), and the wedding was local, so no big travel expenses. I'm also of the opinion that you don't ask your bridesmaids to pay any amount that you wouldn't personally pay yourself if you were in their wedding. These crazy women asking their bridesmaids to fork over 1,000 dollars or more for destination weddings/dresses/accessories can sit on it.
I think that got cemented when people began paying for their own weddings instead of the bride’s parents covering all of it. They need their friends to buy their own clothes. I ordered my bridesmaids’ dresses from China, too! 4/5 of my bridesmaids were going through a tough time financially, and I didn’t want them to go broke for my wedding. They looked great for the price. I’m older now, but I was a bridesmaid a few times in my 20s and 30s, and I remember really stressing about the cost, especially when I was a broke student.
Exactly. I don't wanna spend that amount of money to someone get married. I would rather be a normal guest and even that only if Im close enough to the bride or groom.
Yeah same, I'm the oldest sibling so no marriages yet cuz they're too young and my best friend was only allowed to do sisters and SILs as bridesmaids. :/
It's not about the size of the wedding. It's about the type of personalities you have in your wedding. My cousin had 14 bridesmaids. Wedding went off without any drama. It also depends on perspective and attitude. Some brides are easy going and can let stuff just roll off their back. While other brides let every little thing get to them. So, even if there were issues (major or not) at my cousin's wedding, it seemed she was laid back enough to not let it bother her.
It seems like a given to me, but maybe it's coz of the life I had. I moved a lot and lost touch with many friends. I occasionally run into people from the past over the years, and it's nice and first, but after you're done catching up there isn't much to talk about anymore and then it's just awkward.
I was the MOH for my bff and overall it was a fine experience. There were no issues with the bride at all because she was very easy but her wedding party was 8+8. Huge! It’s really hard to coordinate with 9 different women’s schedules, preferences, and personalities. We split the group down the middle to plan and execute the bridal shower and the bachelorette party, with me leading the party team. One of the girls (and her friend she brought along-it was a destination bachelorette party) was extremely difficult to work with, late to everything, made side comments about everything that was already planned, basically didn’t put effort into the planning process but acted like she felt left out from the beginning. Another one kept making suggestions for things to do that cost money but kept expressing how she wouldn’t be able to spend much. A few of the girls went out one of the nights and she joined them, they paid her way the whole night. She literally lived the closest to our location and travel for her was the cheapest. Overall, it went well and the bride was extremely happy and grateful with how everything turned out. But working with women you don’t really know who are so different from you was a challenge. I learned A LOT from the experience-mainly that I will probably never agree to be MOH again except to do it for one other person in my life. I say that because I was MOH for a coworker once.......MISTAKE. Wasted a beautiful speech on her lol. But that’s another story. I’ll happily stick to the bridesmaid role.
OMG THE DAVIDS BRIDAL STORY 😱 I cannot even believe that lady asked her about her weight! I used to work there and we would literally be fired if we ever commented on someone’s weight. RUDE!
When I plan a wedding I inform the Bride that she needs to be careful in choosing her bridesmaids. As a rule of thumb if you wouldn't trust that girl to be in the room with you when you give birth she doesn't need to be at the alter with you when you give your heart to someone. It is equally as important and a bad friend or a drama queen can ruin the whole day.
4:20 "I was gonna ask my grandma to hem it but she was on the rez" FELTTTTT I WENT TO A PROM WITH A FRIEND A STATE AWAY AND MY AUNTIE WAS SUPPOSED TO HEM KT BUT SHE WAS ON THE REZ SO WE USED PAPER CLIPS-😂💀 ( I knew this girl was native American😂)
@Ellllaaa And btw. Nation has nothing to do with it. If you are Native American, you'd know most Natives call it the rez. Let me guess. You're a Cherokee princess? Apache, Navajo, Cheyenne? Oh I know! You must be a "Great Granddaughter of a Blackfoot chief"! Right?
@Ellllaaa You're in Canada. Your terms aren't the same as us U.S citizens'. Like I said, we call it the rez here in AZ. T.O. is one of the many nations whom was also put on the "rez" back in the 1800s. So instead of sitting here trying to tell someone that the rez does not mean reservation (Which, to us, it does) take in to consideration that if you're from Canada, your cultures and terms are way different. We don't use the term of rez for residential homes here in the West, it's used to refer to the reservation. And if you're assuming I'm not Native, you are very wrong 🙃
LOL the blue dress with the gold detailing at 8:29 is EXACTLY the same dress I wore as a bridesmaid to my friend's wedding! I had her order XL for me, but when the dress came, it was still too small. I got the dress 2 days before the wedding and there really wasn't any way to have it altered, so I ended up not closing the zipper at the back all the way up.
If a bridesmaid can’t pay for the dress, they can politely decline. Paying for the dress is part of accepting the role of bridesmaid. Unless you have a friend or family member that can’t afford it and you really want them in your wedding... then the bride should pay it.
@@Kimmehface Bride and groom should pay for everything. Bridesmaids dresses ect should be included in the budget. I would not have dreamed of allowing my bridesmaids to pay for anything, the dress, hair, make up and nails were paid for by me.
That’s very unusual. I don’t know anyone that did that and I was in a lot of weddings. I wish someone paid for my stuff but it’s not traditional in my culture. Maybe elsewhere it is.
In my sister's wedding, she paid for our hair, makeup and nails as it was for the day. We paid for the dresses and shoes since we would get to keep them. It seems like a good compromise to me. But I do agree that you must first ask your bridesmaids what price range they're comfortable with and work from there.
I was briefly confused by this because we have a lake near me, that's our town's reservoir, and everyone calls it the Rez. My mind went to 'How could she be on a lake for so long?' XD Think I need to go to bed.
I loved the last story. I think there's a story in there that was omitted, like maybe the bridesmaid was once a girlfriend and wasn't ready to let go of the bride? That would make the story make sense.
I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding this past April and it was such a great day! Luckily, when I went in for my fitting for my dress I didn’t have to get it hemmed or altered because I’m tall and the dress fell at the right spot on the floor lol. Plus I was wearing heels, so even better! and the price point wasn’t bad either about $140 (sale price). The last story that bridesmaid shared is absolutely fuckin crazy. If I was the bride that girl would have been kicked out of the wedding hands down. Once she set a text to my fiancé saying those insane things it would have been over for her.

The dress hemming story gave me so much anxiety haha That would 100% happen to me
"I treated them like Harry Potter; I shoved them in the closet until they presented a problem" is my favourite line ever.
OMG THE DAVIDS BRIDAL STORY 😱 I cannot even believe that lady asked her about her weight! I used to work there and we would literally be fired if we ever commented on someone’s weight. RUDE!
Sienna was soo funny, love her energy. Hope shes in more vids in the future!
WOW. I didnt realize how much i love bridesmaid horror stories
“Someone with throw up on them trying to resist.” Welcome to nursing.
Did this feel like an episode of Drunk History to anyone else? Lol. It just needs the reenactments.
Siena, the one-time bridesmaid, is legit the best storyteller ever.
Sienna's storytelling was amazing I would listen to a podcast of her
“Like a flesh shoe”- Sienna 2019
the first story is called being the mom friend
"I treated them like HARRY POTTER. Shoved them in the closet till they presented a problem." When I tell you I LOST IT.
seems like the childhood friend decided to stay a child
The second bridesmaid was hilarious if anyone knows her @ lmk.
noelle127 sammeee
@sienaeast
The girl with the red hair! Her hair looks so beautiful omg the color looks amazing on her
Madison Barnett thank you so much!!🥰🥰🥰
The last story is sad asf the bridesmaid is jealous of the bride and is trying to sabotage the wedding
The last one would’ve been out of my wedding IMMEDIATELY. cause girl no lmao
Wow, the second girl was awesome! I’d love to be her friend. Her humor and way of telling stories. I sense ENTP’s vibes 💛
The child hood best friend was totally in love with the bride. No question about it
sienna is definitely the best one but they are all so beautiful, have amazing personalitys overall really have interesting storys🙌🏼💗
@Elizendo No honey, we natives call all reservations "the rez". She's Native according to her insta
@Ellllaaa Actually it's "Nation" I'm Pima and T.O. 🙃 We call it the rez here in AZ, hon
@Nameless You do not speak for every native person in Canada. I know a lot of indigenous people that refer to reserves as a rez.
“I was gonna ask my grandma to hem it but she was on the rez.” Lmfao I felt that.
I just knew she was native from the moment she came on.😂
“I’m not ready I’m not wearing deodorant”
All these bridesmaids are gorgeous omg
LOL the blue dress with the gold detailing at 8:29 is EXACTLY the same dress I wore as a bridesmaid to my friend's wedding! I had her order XL for me, but when the dress came, it was still too small. I got the dress 2 days before the wedding and there really wasn't any way to have it altered, so I ended up not closing the zipper at the back all the way up.
Absolutely love that nude and shinny sweater💕
Don’t ask bridesmaids to pay for their dress, especially if you have expensive taste. You never know people’s financial situation.
If a bridesmaid can’t pay for the dress, they can politely decline. Paying for the dress is part of accepting the role of bridesmaid. Unless you have a friend or family member that can’t afford it and you really want them in your wedding... then the bride should pay it.
Kimmehface nowpe
The last story was my favourite. The bridesmaid stole a center piece.
Eden Muriel they were very beautiful lol
Sienna is such a good story teller!
That last girl (not the lovely lady telling the story) needs to see a psychiatrist. Who acts like that?!
Wow! The safety pen dress and venue looks astonishing!👍🎉🎉🎉
“bc my grandma was out on the rez” 😂
Like me too girl lmao
These were wild stories! I've never been a bridesmaid, and I hope if/when I am one, we can keep things a little calmer.
I’m so glad this was suggested to me. Siena is my spirit animal.
The second I heard “the Rez” you got my heart I know exactly what you mean girl
Seneca Clark RIGHT 😂 and when she started the story with her cousin wanting her to be a bridesmaid
@@hvalea Wait what's wrong with that 🤣
L. K. There’s nothing wrong with it, indigenous peoples are just really close with our copious amount of cousins
Hi, young adult here. What's the rez? The closest Ive ever heard is the Ritz.
@@lonelyronin2428 Google is a marvellous thing
I love the second girl, Sienna, so much! She’s hilarious 😂
Started with pregnancy horror stories yesterday and I've been binge watching all the horror stories lol
Someone tell Sienna to make a TH-cam channel! She's so entertaining
The third lady was hard to follow in her story; pauses in her sentences was odd. Last story was really good.
Still entertaining story tho
“I was going to ask my grandma but she was on the Rez” HAHAHAHAHAHA #nativeproblems
What's rez?
Reservation
Tselane is so awesome. I met her at a party and she made me feel like I was the coolest person alive 😂
Girl the first story😂😂 somethings better left unsaid
I'm no longer upset I've never been a bridesmaid 🤣🤣
