The federation of Super Earth is incredibly advanced when you consider the huge scale in which they've colonized the entire galaxy. Hundreds upon hundreds of settled planets with human populations, with thousands of destroyers to transport its military across the span of the milky way.

I mean, in reality they don't. The developers should make it so that every time your character dies, everything about their appearance/voice is randomized, just to hammer home the fact that this is a brand new helldiver, and not your character respawning. You can always revert the customizations back to what you want when you get back to the ship.

The federation of Super Earth is incredibly advanced when you consider the huge scale in which they've colonized the entire galaxy. Hundreds upon hundreds of settled planets with human populations, with thousands of destroyers to transport its military across the span of the milky way.
I find these sorts of space empires to be unambitious though. If you were willing to build enough space stations and habitats you could house and support the population of the entire Super Earth Federation in a single system.
@@ChristianMcAngus That makes little sense....They're not ambitious for spreading their population out? What sense does that even make? They are trying to spread across the stars on PURPOSE....use your brain man.

There's no reports because there's no one alive to tell the tale
The idea of how "managed democracy" can be manipulated was commented on about 50 years ago, in the show "Yes, Prime Minister"
Humphrey: “Mr. Woolley, are you worried about the number of young people without jobs?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Are you worried about the rise in crime among teenagers?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Do you think there is a lack of discipline in our Comprehensive schools?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Do you think young people welcome some authority and leadership in their lives?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Do you think they respond to a challenge?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Would you be in favour of reintroducing National Service?”
Bernard: “Oh…well, I suppose I might be.”
Humphrey: “Yes or no?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Mr. Woolley, are you worried about the danger of war?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Are you worried about the growth of armaments?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Do you think there is a danger in giving young people guns and teaching them how to kill?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Do you think it is wrong to force people to take up arms against their will?”
Bernard: “Yes”
Humphrey: “Would you oppose the reintroduction of conscription?”
Bernard: “Yes”
In both cases, Bernard was just asked questions about his thoughts on a subject...
Well the idea of managed democracy isn’t new, as it is a branch of the greater concept that is totalitarian democracy.
