That one mission in Havana had me spam a fleet of 10-12 Hydrofoils (is that what they’re called, I don’t remember. The little AA PT boats.) and I had them run around the edge of the map. They made quick work of any Kirovs and MiG escorts.
I'm not really a fan of red alert 3 so on naval maps i spam the aegis when i hear kirovs

Fun fact: Even though it's kinda made clear that the Red Alert series is separate to that of the Command and Conquer series, there was actually a story idea for a game where we follow a post-soviet union divided into various warlords but slowly being united by the likes of Proto-Nod. I'm not sure how true this exact rumor is but it does tie into the greater universe as a whole. The only question now is where does Generals lie on connection between the other games?

In the original Red Alert the soviet's campaign wins the war and KANE takes over, I believe the Soviet Union still breaks up over the years and collapses and KANE simply takes what he can and later uses it for his own purposes.

That's what happened in Red Alert 2; he said he was in an unknown location and the flag drops.
Which makes me wonder why when they set up the presidents office in Canada that all flags were not removed before he was on the air.
Also the American soldiers have M-16s
And the "Heavy Tank" is a double barrel T-80U and the Hind and the "V2" is a LUNA-M... I'm not sure what Westwood was thinking. I often wonder what concept came first, the idea for a 1985 Cold War game or a 1950s B-movie sci-fi timetravel game? When I turn my brain off I still can't help but find the unrealistic fusion fucking awesome. It just wouldn't be the same without Stalin.
I think it was easier for them to just reuse assets from their previous game. It was the popular thing to do at the time.
Also, I always though the Heavy Tank was just the Medium Tank but they put another barrel on it to make it look different.
The in-game model is a modified medium tank sprite but they built a 3d model T-80U for the cinematics.

C&C Alarmstufe Rot (Red Alert) was awesome, when i was a kid in elementary school. not my first Videogame (need for Speed 2 and GTA San Andreas in PC) but the Game that made me love RTS Games. I Like Generals more, but aoe and red Alert where the ones who Made me steal the CD from my brother to Play it.

AwesomeMangoes defeating the comintern is really a challenge and depleted my resources both in men and firepower.
+Ario Byna Nurzaman, defeating the ComIntern is easy. Just finish a line of level 1 forts along the border, wipe out your current enemies, then let them grind against you until they run out of manpower. In one game, I went in with 120 divisions against over 600, by the end, Soviets had less than 100 divisions and over 6 million casualties. I had less than 500k dead.

Loved it! One of your best yet, the implications that Kane formed the brotherhood of Nod out of elements of the USSR is one of my favourite parts of the C & C universe. The theory that Nod formed in the event of a USSR victory in Red Alert 1, meaning it's actually a prequel to the original game is pretty interesting. Liked how your video touched on it without letting the cat out of the bag for those not familiar with the setting. Keep up the good work!

They did good work with C&C3 tho. But Generals was rushed and it is still good due to how great the devs were. Plus many skeptics of Rivals, that tried it, were proven wrong and they enjoyed the game. Credit to the devs who did the actual work tho, EA can get toasted by a Tesla coil

You can never know how your actions can effect the timeline. But seeing how your Soviet, Einstein getting rid of Hitler is a good thing from your POV
