I was just thinking "What if the lamp goes out? What if the floor breaks? What if a rat gets scared and bites you? How about the air down there?" All kinds of questions were coming up watching you ...
Lol, well, I always have 3 flashlights on deck within hands reach just in case one dies or I need more lighting, and 8 more in the van. Luckily for me, the flooring in solid concrete most of the time. Rats are usually frightening but the sound or sight of a human, but then again they are New York Tough 💪🐀, and as for the air, since the pandemic I've used masks, and after my little hiccup a few years ago, I always walk in with a mask on until I'm finished when poop is involved 😷 The flow wasn't the greatest and the flushes are bypassing the trap but it's flowing. Talk about a dungeon. At least you had easy access to the trap. The squealing tires was a fitting touch! My tires would be leaving a smoke trail like Jack Chrisman's Comet in my exodus from that hell hole.
