Add the plain wooden bookcases to your walls! In realistic terms they’re just a few sheets of wood, but they’re structure would definitely serve as great use for cover and at least help block line of sight. I’ve been doing the same thing in F76 of using all the random defence structures to make junk walls and book cases have been a great assets to use. You can use them flush with the fences (similar to the concrete) or throw them in the mix of a few crates to add some even looser ramshackle vibe! Loved this vid mate we’re getting a lot closer to FO4’s mid-lifespan if higher level decoration!
I found you by accident and I'm so happy I did - you're an inspiration for sure. I especially like how you see the potential for places. Thank you for being amazing ^_^
They need to make the turret budget separate from the building budget. So we can build more... and also this means we can have loads of turrets for our base defence for PVP and PVE.
@@UnknownMann. Honestly I think we're better off without turrets. Compared to the ones in 4 where they spot an enemy before they even get a chance to walk, turrets in 76 take a moment before they even track an enemy; ay my CAMP enemies can start hitting my fence and the turrets (Which are on an elevated platform and literally right next to the fence) take a good minute before they start shooting.
Dammit. I thought we were getting proper junk walls like in Fallout 4! I've been begging for junk walls since the Beta. I don’t ask for much: Immortality. Wealth. Fame. Junk walls. It’s actually a pretty short list. Nice location though. And good improvisation.
I'm sure you probably know this Davey, but you can double layer the wood and wire fences to make them look more robust. Just flip one the opposite direction to the one you have placed and they /should\ snap together. It makes a really strong perimeter style fence, especially when you layer up the concrete on the outside as you did in this video.
I went and built there and I really like that location. As I was building I had some mirelurks show and after I got the basic perimeter down I had some anglers spawn nearby. Not sure if I want to keep my camp there yet.
I wish they would just use a place anywhere mod in the home to ease building restrictions...but I suppose they are there to keep the servers stable. Also...police sirens Again? Every video it seems... Again also...I still use your advanced cottage build but at the brahmin lake near pleasant valley...it is my favorite. Farm, water, right off the path to the watchtower...fun fun builds.
Hey davey, I’ve been watching your videos for 4 years or something and this video made me remember all the old things you used to have. You should use your old music again. Good job at 96k.
I haven't watched any 76 build videos in a few months. Nice to see they still haven't fixed the green doesn't actually mean you can place things bug. Davey does like his walls for sure. There was a time when it seemed like 3 out of 4 of your vids was a new wall design.
If you want alright looking walls. What I do is I put fences down the concrete blocks in front and if you but down the large concrete wall I put fences in front of them back to front
I love this, I much prefer to make camp with existing structures in game (like the one I showed you on twitter) as I do find it much more immersive. Great job! best build I have seen in this location.
Now I need to go back and watch your junk walls from Fallout 4, I'm missing out on something and late to the joke :D Also, request for future video - themed Workshop build for Beckley Springs workshop or the Mount Blair workshops? I've been using those a lot lately and love the 3d nature of building on them, would love to see what you can do :D
@@norespawns thanks man!. There must be a separate plan for it, picked up the antique light plans last night has everything with the exception of the big oil lamp. Shame really, just at level 10 and having to sneak my way into the resort while all hell is breaking around me.
I hear you, squire. Win 10 was so bad I went back to Win 7. Then the power unit of my PC died, knackered my SSD and has left me machineless. But *HOW* did you get a tame Scorchbeast?
You know you'd missed junk wall videos.
Also, Tallinn was really nice. Good food and beer, can recommend. Airbnb and flights were cheap too.

Anyone else wanting Bethesda to increase the CAMP budget a little bit? It doesn't have to be 50% more, just around 10 to make the budget tolerable
Rather have the promised item decorations at this point so I can actually fill my budget
yes
More item decorations, bigger space. Even if it were just by a little it would make the biggest difference

Your priorities are straight, nice
Good to see you finding ways to make the camp building system visually interesting
My camp used to be in that exact spot.
Behind that little shack, I had a full on military compound until a scorchbeast trashed the entire place twice.
Ohhh im Sorry for u hopeful.....mah base in that spot Is underground. The bad thing of that spot Is the near scorchbeast spawn

Can you specify?
this is one of the most impressive builds i've seen, it's really ascetically pleasing
I love this spot, had this in my level 30's my own personal bunker
The lag when placing things down or connecting does happen to me as well. Sometimes it takes so long i see a spinning loading circle.
Your creativity is astounding . Great work yet again .
The most post apocalyptic build! Love it mate

I could listen to your voice all day, I for some reason find it soothing. I'm not weird honestly 😂.

Looks great. Like you said if I was wondering through on PC I would think it's part of the game dynamics.
The bad thing of that spot? THE FREAKING SCORCHBEAST WHO SPAWN EVERYTIME THERE AND DESTROY MAH CAMP
wow ! you finally did it ! Junk walls are back for the best ! I'm definetly going to use this technique in my futur camp !

I also thought they had added FO4's junk walls to the game but this is quite nice. I love adding details like this to my camp
If you wanna stop items from placing on top of you, you can put the item on a rug, then move the rug for where you want the item to be

Oh, Davey. This is an excellent build. You should be chuffed. :)
I for the life of me. Can not find the oil lamp plans!!!! Can anyone point out where I am able to find them?
I think they're the antique lights from the vendors in whitespring (resort, not the station).
@@norespawns thanks man!. There must be a separate plan for it, picked up the antique light plans last night has everything with the exception of the big oil lamp. Shame really, just at level 10 and having to sneak my way into the resort while all hell is breaking around me.
here you go - assorted lights fallout.gamepedia.com/Plan:_Assorted_Lights
Why don't u use the dressers and chairs as barricades other than just crates
That's badass tho
You're actually very underrated
I found this spot as I was watching the video.
You probably wouldve had to rug glitch everything inside the cave
Just watched your under the bridge video, your amazing at building bases bro😁👍 What's this one called "Trench Warfare" lol
Davey the location is incredible and the walls are amazing
But I'm 100% making my second character's camp there just for that underground cave
The trench and tower are genius, and those turrets in the dark tunnels kinda give me metro feels? Great build as always
I hear you, squire. Win 10 was so bad I went back to Win 7. Then the power unit of my PC died, knackered my SSD and has left me machineless. But *HOW* did you get a tame Scorchbeast?
I think it's just permanently neutral. There's one in the Mire who is the same.
@@norespawns The correct response is
I AM A GOD! GIMME MONEY LEST I SMITE THEE! AND ALSO SUBSCRIBE!
Use carpets dude. The rug glitch still works.
not in the same way - you can't remove the rugs and it doesn't fully ignore the collision of the object being moved.
@@norespawns I know but it helps
this place use to be a lot easier to build on/in
This is brilliant!
Yeah bro thx for tellin everyone this
everyone knows about this area mate
Not really
Sry I was a little hostile
Beautiful ^_^ well done
Dammit now people will think Im copying from you
is this PC or Xbox
epic
