Agreed. There's a rug glitch that allows moving plants off of dirt by attaching them to a small rug. I've seen it on TH-cam (this channel, iirc), but I've never been able to get it to work myself.
Why Bethesda didn't go with unlocking a glass wall and roof set so you can build your own greenhouse is beyond me. This is a non-functional greenhouse but its esthetically pleasing.
Something I don't understand about the way Bethesda is currently going about Atom Store items is that they keep making more and more, But they're generally these really large objects that take up a lot of space, and leave little space for anything else. Not to mention, they take up a large portion of budget with every placement. The problem here is, eventually, people are going to run out of space, I already know several personally who HAVE run out of space entirely, and struggle to fit anything else into their current house. Even my little dinky camp with a tent, 2 turrets and a little watch tower is nearly full, And I barely have anything placed. I really think they should increase the build limit, and maybe even adjust the size of the C.A.M.P. itself, and how C.A.M.P.s function as a whole. Instead of deleting someone else's camp that is nearby, Why not just make it so that if their camp's build radius overlaps your build radius, it works like it does now, But if your camp and their camp are just barely touching, it will allow you both to build in, relatively, the same spot. This would also be useful for people who want to build their own little town, and given that every camp I've ever come across runs like anywhere else in the game, little to no frame-rate lag at all, I think this would work out fine. Whether or not they actually do that seems doubtful, But I really hope they make some adjustments, because the current system is certainly not ideal...

Hoping for Frost: Survival Overhaul to come to consoles at some point, It's pretty awesome, and changes the story entirely, Basically a new game. Very dark atmosphere.
I hope that with this new circular structure (greenhouse) now being a thing Bethesda can introduce stand alone circular foundations or walls/floors ect
I wish they would add more snappable structure items. I want more walls and variants of things and maybe different heights. I want more things closer to FO4. More scrappy looking objects.
You can place a fusion generator inside of it right up against the wall and run conduits through the glass and you're able to place turrets or crafting benches on the outside brim of the foundation also you can place crafting benches inside but you have to place them in the center then move them up against the wall, It definitely takes some patience. By far the best structure they have sold in the atom shop in my opinion.
Fun Fact: you can put one on top of another. I stacked two and put one at a staggered height and connected them all with a walkway. Up and around the domes.
If you want to rotate the dome in place, and if you either have the Marsupial mutation or you're willing to build a temporary stairway, stand on top of it in the center, select it, and rotate it. You can see all around, and the object is sometimes less temperamental about placement in this mode. You can also select it for lateral movement while standing on the stairs or inside it, which may work in some situations. I've found that it's a pain to place it, but it looks amazing in the game once you get it placed and decorated.
The domes also remind me of space habitat units so you can do a space colony theme. Placing all 3 domes requires a lot of flat ground though and they conflict with each other a lot. I tried the 3-way intersection at the Top of the World - with the pond on the edge for industrial purifiers - and my third dome could only be placed facing the train station. I should try to find a better area once I take some days off. Decorating the interior for one is enough pain and three does not make it better.

Gosh damn you just had to open up and ask that. Now everyone is gonna do that and so far as I know I'm the only one who is doing it. You have to do it a certain way. First of all you can stack them on top of each other. Have to get it just right to stack. Then you can store or delete the ones on the bottom. But there is a better way. You can place them on stairs. If you want 2 stories high then use 2 stairs and a foundation. Set greenhouse. Then delete stairs. Then leave that foundation there still. Use that set foundation to build up to green house like add foundations unti your under the greenhouse. Then build home directly under greenhouse.
How much budget does this use? Can you take damage through it? These will be a good way to keep your crops safe and locked away from vendor customers! Maybe even a quick safe place to craft in survival!
