Ya know, I haven't even TOUCHED Fallout 4 in MONTHS now, but seeing one of your vids pop up and hearing the old Davey walkthroughs, even if it's just going on in the background while I'm on the clock at work... the nostalgia's nice. Welcome back mate.
Lol at your flatmate groaning, that was funny. Really glad to find this vid, just what I needed to chill to today. Definatly more please, and just anything with you chatting and fallout 4 together is fab and much appreciated.
I was watching your gatehouse and guard tower etc. videos from over half a decade ago a week or two ago and I open TH-cam for the first time since then and I see this.
Here's to forgetting all the old tricks! Too much nightmarish '76 building has definitely eroded my old FO4 build skills. This is looking good - eager to see where you go with the rest of the settlement. Enjoy your December leisure!
Always love a norespawns' FO4 build ❤ I also love using junk fences reversed lol. I glitched them in as the bases under raised warehouse walls to make my Sunshine Tidings defensive walls 😂 Thank you for the video and continually contributing ideas to my building addiction 🤣👍
A cool tip is to put a Junk Gate and then you build this towers around with some bridge passing between the towers (just like you did in the vídeo, but longer because of the gate) Besides that, I loved your vid!! ❤
At the moment I'm madly in love with Fallout 4, I really enjoy the base building system, and I can't get enough of the unique ideas that people like Davey are exploring. I just wish that the game wouldn't be so unstable when you start building bigger/busier settlements. Right now I'm doing a playthrough where I try to limit myself to stay within the initial budget for each settlement, but that bar fills up so damned fast it's not even funny. I had a very nice Sunshine Tidings settlement, huge and detailed, and I can't even log into that savefile any more as it crashes all the time.
Just wondering if you've checked out a mod like G2m Workshop. It adds lots of pieces to wood and metal even a double door frame and a roof and railings that attach to the shack stairs. Also Thematic and Practical and Eisenwolf Legacy are two more mods that really fit in with vanilla
Also Davey it's my birthday and I'd love for you to say you reckon me thru the years and comments and likes (u can lie) and also in the most masculine way I jus love to hear to talk...I can't find the words to describe it but I could listen all day
I recently started building up settlements like this, but bcs I use mods and I use the "unofficial Fo4 patch" which fixes bugs and glitches, so there are gaps in my settlements that I had to get creative to patch up bcs they fixed the pillar glitch with that mod 😅
I've embarked on a mission to fill the perk chart...it seems like this will take for ever but I'ma done been hacking away for awhile I'm at lvl 187 it like half the charts filled

Longer videos would be much appreciated…most of us enjoy your building techniques and your rambling
Great video as always
Nice to see you back. I've missed these videos.
Just when I was feeling nostalgic for Fallout 4, this comes out. That’s some perfect timing right there.

I'm so glad you're making Fallout 4 build videos again! :)
I have a junky gatehouse very similar to this one in my Sunshine build. Always love seeing your builds from day one.

This build takes me back!!! Thank you!
Love it. Looks really sweet. I might leave bottom area open to add some beds for the guards to use .
Great build as always, bringing back some memories 😁

I just downloaded the Wasteland Reborn modpack off wabbajack a couple days ago and am going to use your awesome ideas. Thanks!

Nice one, Davey.
This is one of my favourite settlements I built at. I used all the cabins as shops. All well before mods on ps4. Check it out if anyone’s interested!
Great vid! I never know what to do with Sunshine Tidings.

ha sorry for the late reply mate - Yeah I recognise you, people would be suprised but that's often the case with people who regularly comment lol

If you could do a video showcasing your load order will be great as i want to get back into building but dont know what mods to get
