    You can also pass the hazelwood benefits to your children. They paid for my daughters education.

      Yes sir that’s true! They do have to begin classes before the age of 26. It’s a great benefit!

    This video was very informative. I currently stay in Tulsa, OK but I am considering moving to Texas within the next 6 or 7 months. Texas veteran benefits are the best in the country in my opinion.

      The Texas Veteran benefits really are amazing. I’ve had so many vets move here because of it. Thank you for your service! 👍🏽

    I'm buying a home on Lake Athens, I fell in love with the area after my fishing guide put a 8 lb. bass on my hook, I didn't see snorkler, but I know he was there. Take care.

    Did you have any more information on Exxonmobil career program for veterans? Current veteran relocating

    • @MakingHoustonHome
      @MakingHoustonHome  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was just looking for it and it’s no longer on the careers website. I haven’t worked there in over a year, I’m wondering if they changed it. I’ll reach out to some of my old co-workers and see if I can get some more info. I know it was there because my brother in law moved from CA and applied through the veteran portal.

    Does Hazelwood act have a time period to use like the gi bill?

    • @MakingHoustonHome
      @MakingHoustonHome  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! It is my understanding that the Hazlewood Act does not have a time period or expiration. The main thing to remember is that the semester credit hours is limited to 150 hours. However, for qualified dependents, they must begin the first semester on or before their 25th birthday to be eligible.

    Was? Is their a change to tebates of sales tax to vets who bougjt a car?

    • @MakingHoustonHome
      @MakingHoustonHome  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I’m understanding your question correctly, it looks like there is a 6.25% sales tax on vehicles in Texas, minus any trade in allowance.
