This is the best info I have seen since I have been working on my claim for 100%Disability status it’s been working for my life since I’ve had to work for this year since I was discharge from active duty sincerely Fernando J.
Fernando go through the DAV to file your 100 percent disability rating. The VA HOSPITAL will try to piss you off so you will quit. What you need to do is send letters to the Director of VA as well as your House Senate representatives as well as the Chairman of the House and Senate Chairman of the V A.
the Veterans 100% P/T ID card issued at a DEERS office is not tan..it is white. also, make sure you get the commisarry letter before getting that card, you will have to call the VA 1-800 number to get it, and they will either email it to you or mail it to you.
My husband. when he retired from the military after 25 years and open heart surgery, was told he should have 100% disability but the generals had taken all the spots. So he gotlike10%. We retired to Michigan and about 9 months after went tote VA hospital in Detroit to try and get it changed. Sad to say the doctor did not have a clue what he was doing so only 40% more was given. My husband died 6 months after that visit of a massive heart attack and never got what he deserved. I sure am glad the military take care of their own????????
One correction, if you get the National Park pass in person at one of the parks there is no 10.00 charged, just if you do it online do you get charged.
@VADisabilityGroup it was a long road. I was first service connected back in 2012 10%. It was an uphill road for me but now I'm able to continue to opt out since medical insurance is so high. My wife has a baby on the way and I thank God we are now eligible for champva in time for my baby to come home in November.
lol, well…. Hopefully they make strides over the next decade. Most states are actively considering additional veteran benefits legislation. We suspect Washington is no exception.
This is an interesting topic. We will put this on our list of future topics. Look for an informative video of such in the next 4-6 months, if not sooner. Thanks for the idea!
We will be making a video on Kansas soon. Stay tuned. Typically VA benefits are at the state and federal level, although occasionally cities and states extend benefits.
It was stopped in 2017. I was living there full time in Tagaytay City for 6 years. I am coming back the Florida to get all my VA medical. I have my own place. I bought a big house in Tagaytay City April 2017. I filed for my wife to immigrate here.
DEERS stands for the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System. A DEERS office is a physical location where you and your family members can register for ID cards to gain access to various benefits, such as, healthcare, commissary, etc. They are typically located on or nearby military installations. Here is a link to their services and to locate an office near you: idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/
At the Federal Level, we are not aware of such a transfer of loan forgiveness to a spouse. Insofar as we know, the loan forgiveness only attaches to the individual with the disability.
Thanks for the comment. This is an interesting topic regarding how veterans can seek medical treatment abroad. Perhaps we will cover it in a future video.
Congrats! Now you avail yourself to the litany of benefits and avoid VA scrutiny by not filing a bunch of future claims in vain. Hope that helps! All the best.
So true. It took countless hours of research to compile this list and even more to tease out how to apply or where to apply. We surely missed some great benefits, so we invite conversation in the comments to shed more light on this topic. Thanks for the comment.
I am a Vietnam veteran who is on 100% disability who am now looking to get some housing purchasing in the state of Pennsylvania. I need some information on inquiring on 3 or 4 bedroom homes in East strousberg Pennsylvania. I need as much information as possible to move into one of those homes. My James carrow and I am now living at 85 washington street, apt.101, East Orange, New Jersey 07017. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your service and your question! We aren't entirely sure what you are asking, but here's some information on Pennsylvania housing options for disabled Veterans: East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding area have a few housing options and resources available for veterans. While there isn't a dedicated VA housing facility in East Stroudsburg, there are still several avenues to explore: 1. **PA 211:** This is a statewide resource that can connect veterans with various housing programs, including rapid re-housing and transitional housing options. They also have information on shelters and other support services. pa211sw.org/ 2. **HUD-VASH:** This is a collaborative program between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the VA. It combines HUD housing vouchers with VA supportive services to help homeless veterans and those at risk of homelessness find and maintain stable housing. Contact the Monroe County Veterans Affairs Office for more information on this program. www.va.gov/homeless/hud-vash.asp 3. VA home loans may be available to you. Here's a link to explore that potential option: www.benefits.va.gov/homeloans/ Remember that the availability of specific housing options and resources may vary, so it's best to contact the relevant organizations directly to inquire about eligibility requirements and current programs. I hope this information is helpful! -VADG
Give us some basic details here. Perhaps we can give you the guidance you need. Alternatively, you can try calling our office 844-838-5297. Backpay and effective dates can be tricky and can involve a host of variables: pension, imprisonment, VA debt, VA math, competency, etc. Hopefully we can provide the insight you need. Be well! VADG
There is one thing that you ladies need to mention is that Disabled Veterans Can also apply for Social Security Disability Insurance. Find a law firm that deals with SS make an appointment and bring copies of your medical treatment records from day one as well as all your X Rarys MRI's and CAT SCANS. The cost of law firm I used $ 1,500.00 it comes off the top but it tax deductable. I used Shook & Stone in Las Vegas Nevada.
The focus of this particular video is geared toward veterans with a 100% rating. However, there are several states that offer business building resources to veterans. You can check out our state guide videos to see if your state offers anything here: th-cam.com/play/PLzIdb2n6bjE8XsO5HRon3SkvU0-iHmAr_.html Here is a link to our State Benefits Guides on our website: vadisabilitygroup.com/state-benefits-for-100-percent-disabled-veterans/ Or you can search within your state for more resources for veterans starting a business. The VA in Congress need to step in and stop the stupid stuff that each state decides to give nothing to veterans and other states give everything to Veterans. Arizona is one of the worst states in the nation. What are you supposed to do? Research the benefits for veterans in each state decide what state you wanna live in..

Maybe it depends on the state… My DEERS card was tan.
@@loveabounds611the old one is tan. The new one is white and looks like a CAC card.
If you login to your VA acct online (va.gov) you can create official letters (commissary, service, etc.)
VA. Com will provide any letter that is needed for home loans, and all verifications required

Thank him and you for the years given to the people of the USA

They stopped giving travel pay for VA visits in the Manila Philippines VA clinic. It cost me $420.00US a year.

30 percent is entitled to travel pay for VA appointments
You also qualify for retraining. VA will pay your school fees
Any video for MA?
