If ever there was a winner in a divorce it was Sally Fields character in this movie. Can you imagine leaving Robin Williams and immediately falling forward into Pierce freaking Brosnan?

The Harvey Fierstein impression was spot on.

This movie was made back before most people knew what narcissism is.

This movie is a horror film, we were not meant to re-examine it with adult eyes 😅

Oh my God, I had wished for months that somebody would do a video on this. One of my favorite episodes! Well done, you kept many of my favorite bits. Great cutaway jokes as well. I laughed so hard.

This episode had my cracking up in the street listening to it. I could only touch on a few of the highlights but there are loads in there - that bit when Paul riffs as Daniel's neighbour!

@@Toddits The neighbor bit kills me every time, but I get why you left it out.

Yeah nightmare to get content for that bit. Actually this whole edit was a bit more subtle. Not many cutaway/ culture references and really just the voice matching up with what the Smersh boys are saying; they're carrying this one for sure!

I can't watch it in the same way. Howard Shore's score works really well in keeping pathological behaviours light and positively heartfelt.

I read that the movie is based on a British children’s book from 1987. It’s called Alias Madame Doubtfire.

Glad I’m not the only one who thought his character was an immense tool. Never understood what people saw in this film.

17:16 - This moment maybe sparked the purest, loudest laughter from John Rain ever heard on Smersh Pod. It is such a wonderful reaction.

I'm sure that's exactly how Japanese seiyuu (VA) do it, so I don't see why wouldn't Americans do it the same way.

11:50 surprisingly their Kenneth Connor impressions aren't that much more extreme than how Connor actually was, absolutely hilarious.

Just dawned on me that current American culture, with the slightest amount of distance, will also be revealed to be utterly reprehensible.
