I'll never forget how the whole movie theater erupted with applause when Mrs. Doubtfire told the purse thief to "beat it asshole". The theater was packed, some people were standing and everyone laughed through the whole movie. What a time for cinema and what a great memory to hold.
Yes it was amazing to See this Movie in the cinemas .. in my childhood i only saw about one Movie per year ( or Twice) in switzerland ... And i was very Lucky to See this Movie with my Grandmother somewhere in Zürich .. So much fun !! Crazy .. because before That i watched him „only“ on the Teli .... There are so many memorable Scenes in These Movies funny And Sad.... Comedies are so Underrated !! Such a Great Movie deserves defintly an oscar !!

And she had legitimate reason to complain, including noise and animals eating her plants. Yes, she was mean but killing her plants and advising her to wash baby with piss while impersonating somebody else isn’t funny; just mean spirited .
Exactly! It's great to see new (old) things being released 8 years after his death. It's like Robin's still with us and making us laugh with new jokes and comments. 🤣

I used to live a few blocks away from the Mrs. Doubtfire house in San Francisco in the early 2010s. I remember the tragic August of 2014 when the news broke of his death. I visited the Mrs. Doubtfire house later that August and there were flowers, VHS/DVD copies of Robin’s movies, and quotes of his from his movies written in chalk on the sidewalk outside the Mrs. Doubtfire house. A lot of joy he brought to our lives. ❤️

Majestic was a flop but just because a movie is a flop or the majority of people don't like it does not mean it is a bad film. I remember when Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind came out and a majority of things I was hearing about it was that it did not make any sense. When I went to finally watch the movie I thought it was great and made sense to me, others were just looking at the film too literal. In their defense it is a very abstract film though. I also remember what dreams may come kinda getting the same treatment but that is a great film as well. Steve martin, chevy chase, john candy, early eddie murphy these are some other that just come to mind but there are many more.
I heard that the Lost Cut was less about sexual jokes and swearing, and more that it had increased serious dramatic scenes of a broken marriage. The decision was made after filming to change the tone more.
There’s another scene that takes place before Chris’ birthday party (before the divorce) where you see what Daniel and Miranda’s married life is like. It isn’t pleasant.

the book it's based on madame doubtfire is way, way more dramatic with really no comedy in it at all so it makes sense the initial cut had a little more tension.
I think it'd be fun to see the film with some of the deleted scenes edited back in. It might be quite a long movie but I don't think anyone would have complained about spending another hour with Robin Williams.

Don't be to sure! There are already agencies that represent the rights-holders of the likenesses and character, and are occasionally used in commercials and movies today. Machine Learning can do their voice perfectly already. It won't be long before an A.I. can imitate a dead movie star in real-time, reproducing mannerisms and movement and rendering a realistic image. Can you imagine a new movie where Robin Williams meets The Three Stooges, all in their prime?
I think there needs to be a Director's Cut with a lot of the deleted footage put in. You can never have too much of a good thing and this movie was magical.
This is one of my all time favorite movies. I saw it in the theatre when it was first released. The audience was really laughing throughout. Years later, I had the privilege of working on The Crazy Ones. Spending a day on set with him was like being at an eight to ten hour Robin Williams comedy show. Between takes, he constantly had the entire cast and crew in stitches. I had some more serious conversation with him when we broke for lunch or dinner. It was a side that you don't often see of him, publically. At the end of the day, he came up to many cast and crew members and shook their hands. It was a nice personal touch to be personally thanked by the show's top billed actor. Most celebs want to have very little to do with anyone on set other than the director. Robin was just a really great, down to earth person -- and the funniest person I have ever had the honor of working with.
How there was ever a useable take is beyond me because I can't imagine keeping a straight face while Robin is just delivering some of the funniest improvs imaginable.
The neighbor is played by the same actress that played Mrs. Mcdougal in Gremlins. I’m glad the deleted footages survived in 35mm, so it doesn’t look like complete crap, like most deleted footage on VHS dupes does.
I was delighted when the Blu-Ray came with all those deleted and unused scenes. I think the film is perfect as it is, but it is so much fun to watch the extra footage. My favourite is the Laundry Room scene!
The Laserdisc version of this film in the special features was the very first time we were introduced to these deleted scenes that were edited together with the score added to it.
The way Robin delivered the line, "I'm a guy." How brilliant! That's comedy masquerading as drama masquerading as comedy. Nobody else could pull that off so effectively.
The end of the film is much more sadder now after Williams passing with him as Mrs. Doubtfire on a TV show reading a letter from a girl who's parents separated and addresses the girl and also the viewers. I even started tearing up just reading the final bit of dialog he gives.
this gives me newfound appreciation for the woman who played the neighbor Gloria. delivering lines like "i know i need a stiff stem" and "Euthanasia Dumbwaiter" completely straight.
From the minute he hit the TV and movie screens to the moment he left, I was always in awe of his ability at improv and how people loved him. This is the sort of human that will never be forgotten and will always be loved & appreciated for his skill at keeping people happy.

I had a connection with Robin, he and his family had a house down the street from my piano teacher. One time when my Mom was crossing the golden gate bridge she saw a big white SUV that she loved and so when it pulled up next to her in traffic she turned to the guy and asked, " how much for the car?" Then she realized it was Robin Williams and they both laughed. RIP Robin
There was this comic book store in San Francisco on Geary that I use to frequent and Robin would pop in from time to time. The first time I ever saw him he was super lowkey I barely even noticed it was him until I saw his famous hairy arms. He picked up a few comic books and then walked into the hentai section of the store. I don't think he bought any hentai but it's just funny knowing that he walked in there. Afterwards at the register his credit card didn't go through, I think the card just didn't want to swipe and I think he was getting a bit anxious because all the folks nearby started to look over, the cashier asked if he had another card until the owner came over and told Robin the comics are on the house. It wasn't until Robin was leaving that the cashier realized it was Robin Williams. Truly an interesting way to bump into him. He was definitely full-on in introvert mode.
@@deletedwaffles ive heard other stories of him visiting comic stores as well, so i can believe that. He was best friends with my favorite actor, the late Christopher Reeve, so perhaps Chris got him into Superman comics simply from playing the iconic super hero.

I was an extra in Mrs Doubtfire for a couple of days, and I would pay a lot to see hours of just the outtakes. Williams in the makeup was even more hilarious between takes. One of the crew told me he would sometimes go out in costume for lunch or something just to play in the character, and he liked not being recognized (this was in SF, where he lived).
I remember reading that Robin went, dressed and in character as Mrs. Doubtfire, to an adult bookstore and bought either porn or a sex toy, I forget which.

I seen those Ms. Doubtfire deleted scenes and I enjoyed them so much. Robin gave us so many years of laughter. He made laugh so hard we cried that is how much of a comic genius he was and also showed us how much more he can be when he can do series roles. I only wish he was still alive and done a Ms. Doubtfire sequel.
Ms. Doubtfire is one of those few, rare movies that you literally know word-by-word. Like Dumb & Dumber, Matilda or classic Star Wars. It's just two hours of quotes. Legendary.
I brought this video with me to play at the domestic violence shelter. I will never forget that day. The women, who were so down and sad, were all cooking together and running out to the t.v.band saying, "What is she doing now?" and laughing. I was so happy to see it. It felt like I lost a personal friend when he died.

we all fantasize about being movie stars at some point or other, but then the many realities hit us.. for me most of all, the sheer amount of energy it takes, the ridiculously long hours of nonstop 110% exertion. Like no wonder they're all on drugs. But then you get these occasional masters, the Robin Williamses, the Jackie Chans, people who go BEYOND that level, and end up putting out so much high-quality material it literally can't all be used. it just spews out of them.
Would you say Chris Columbus is an underrated director? I feel like he doesn't have the level of fame he deserves for the amount of solid work he has. He's no Scorsese but he has so many beloved movies
His resume is wild, and it feels like he has the filmography of three different directors smashed together. I always forget he did Pixels, the Rent film adaptation, and the first Percy Jackson movie too
I was 7 years old and my brother 5 when my mother took us to see this film. Many of the adult jokes went over our heads but we loved it then and as adults appreciate it even more now. There is simply not anything wholesome like this being made today. It's part of what made going to the theaters magical back then.
In high school I was given an assignment in Drama Class to play a scene that would make me reconsider wanting to be an actor. The only scene that came to mind is the court room scene from this movie where Robin Williams gives this wonderful speech but the judge calls it "nothing more than a speech from a talented actor" Even though I didn't have kids cause I was just a teenager I could very easily imagine myself in his shoes. The man just wants to be a father to his children and he can't get custody basically just because he's an actor. I'd probably do the same thing if I was in his position... and I could actually get away with it but in real life I think it'd actually be impossible to fool the people who really know me. I'm 6'4" and like 260lbs even with profession movie quality make up and changing my voice anyone who's ever met me would still know it's me underneath. Robin on the other hand, for the longest time I thought there was an old lady actress they got to stand in for the Mrs. Doubtfire scenes, even knowing it was him I still didn't believe it was him. They basically created a person who doesn't exist and it still amazes me how well the make up was done to make that transformation work.
Much like John Hughes films' I would LOVE to just see an extended cut of this film - it's like entire plot points completely cut - a whole different film!
How impossible it feels to know someone when you didn't know them. Robin left a piece of himself in every movie, every tv show, interview stand up and soon. When you gather those pieces, it feels, in your heart, that he was family! We were blessed he shared so much of himself with us.
I read the book as a kid and didn't particularly like it compared to the movie. I reread the book recently and still didn't like it but I was surprised that a lot of the deleted scenes are actually taking almost directly from the book. The bit where he talks about how he can't act to save his family is straight from the book pretty much. There's also a deleted scene where the Daniel and Miranda are fighting and claiming that the kids love one more than the other and Lydia the oldest screams, "I hate you both!" and that's strictly from the book too
What's even more incredible than Robin's improv is how well the other actors were able to just swing with it and still have super believable conversations for the situation.
Seeing Robin do his in thing and just go off script always makes me happy. He truly loved his craft. Me finding this video 3 months away from his 10TH Anniversary Death is weird but a nice timing! RIP Robin we all miss you Dearly!
Rest in peace, Robin, you'll be forever missed. I recall hearing about a proposed sequel where Daniel donned the Mrs Doubtfire getup when he followed his daughter to college.

I'd kill to see a new version of this film. Even if they don't want to actually cut it, I don't see why they can't sell us the deleted material as a collector's disc, so we can make our own cuts or just enjoy the scenes separately.
Wow, I've never seen half of these! Robin was always amazing and we can see he took good care of the character. I especially love the extended scenes with the busdriver. Mrs D/Daniel handled it with grace and sensitivity. So lovely. Thank you for sharing this.

When I worked for the Berkeley Rep 25 years ago, I sat in his excellent seat to see plays, which he never used. He gave $10,000 to the theater every year. I live up the hill from an old indoor natatorium, one of the few left in the U.S. When it was renovated, the mushroom fountain was taken out of the shallow end of the pool and installed outdoors on a pedestal surrounded by benches, courtesy of Robin Williams. I miss him every time I see it, and I get a lump watching this footage. Again, thank you!

I assume you don't take requests for videos, but I think the first Ace Ventura movie would make for a good one of these videos. There's a lot of surprisingly messed up stuff that got cut out of that movie that we still haven't seen.
About 11 years ago I made my own "Extended Version" of Ace Ventura using the TV version I had recorded off of TBS, and my original VHS tape of the movie. I captured both tapes onto my computer and spliced in the deleted scenes into the original cut. My version runs almost 10 minutes longer than the theatrical cut. To this day, I can't watch any other version. It just doesn't seem complete to me without these brilliant deleted scenes. Thank you for making this video. I love your channel and the love you clearly have for films. Some years ago there was a trend of editing movies to turn them into a completely opposing genre of film. The most popular seemed to be turning family films into horror movies. I thought it was rather clever the first time I saw it but it got really old very quickly. I have a sense of humor but the one where they turned Mrs. Doubtfire into a stalker horror movie deeply upset me. I, like most, saw this movie as a very touching film about a man who loves his family so much that he was willing to turn his life inside out and adopt a second persona and juggle two lives and jobs just to be with his family even though they were never meant to know it was him or they'd be out of his life forever. It may seem silly to some but I hated the idea of this movie being mocked and perverted. I just wanted to get that off my chest. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.
My dad insists that when he saw this in theaters with his friends that Porky bit at the beginning of the film involved Robin dropped an F-bomb in the impression. I only really saw this movie on TV I figured that was always the censored take.
I never saw that bus driver extended scene. Or any, for that matter. But that does raise the question of there being an "R-rated version" There is R-rated material, But not a "version" as such. Now, "Me, Myself & Irene" has a DVD feature that adds all the deleted scenes in chronological order. A MUST WATCH!

Coming from a life long Gardner, I found it hard to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to put piss on their plants. Still a funny scene. Also pissing around the garden does seem to keep the groundhogs away.
Toys was considered one of his more “weaker movies.” The reason I say that is because NO ONE ever talks about it… same with “Father’s Day,” “Bicentennial Man,” “Flubber.” No one ever talks about those Robin Williams movies. Like any other actor, he had “weaker movies” also

Infact it had been years up untill he passed away that he had a great comedy hit. ha, the reason i bring up TOYS is becase it seemed like the perfect movie and character for him but I feel both him and Barry Levinson didnt focus on a good story and instead just did what ever they wanted on a big budget. its s shame because the sets are A+ in design and art and the opening is beautiful. But the rest of the movie is awkard and weired sadly :( . No matter he did MRS doughtfire the next year :)

It's always a bit awkward when people try to act like Robin Williams, they can never really capture what he could. I think one of the reasons is everyone focuses too much on how erratic and flamboyant he would be, but one of his true skills was his ability to not just go from 0 to 60 but from 60 to 0 and then back to 60 in a completely nonobtrusive way. No matter how hard or talented another actor is, there will never be another who can do what he did.

Don't be to sure! There are already agencies that represent the rights-holders of the likenesses and character, and are occasionally used in commercials and movies today. Machine Learning can do their voice perfectly already. It won't be long before an A.I. can imitate a dead movie star in real-time, reproducing mannerisms and movement and rendering a realistic image.

I think there needs to be a Director's Cut with a lot of the deleted footage put in. You can never have too much of a good thing and this movie was magical.
This is one of my all time favorite movies. I saw it in the theatre when it was first released. The audience was really laughing throughout. Years later, I had the privilege of working on The Crazy Ones. Spending a day on set with him was like being at an eight to ten hour Robin Williams comedy show. Between takes, he constantly had the entire cast and crew in stitches. I had some more serious conversation with him when we broke for lunch or dinner. It was a side that you don't often see of him, publically. At the end of the day, he came up to many cast and crew members and shook their hands. It was a nice personal touch to be personally thanked by the show's top billed actor. Most celebs want to have very little to do with anyone on set other than the director. Robin was just a really great, down to earth person -- and the funniest person I have ever had the honor of working with.

How there was ever a useable take is beyond me because I can't imagine keeping a straight face while Robin is just delivering some of the funniest improvs imaginable.
The neighbor is played by the same actress that played Mrs. Mcdougal in Gremlins. I’m glad the deleted footages survived in 35mm, so it doesn’t look like complete crap, like most deleted footage on VHS dupes does.

I was delighted when the Blu-Ray came with all those deleted and unused scenes. I think the film is perfect as it is, but it is so much fun to watch the extra footage. My favourite is the Laundry Room scene!
The Laserdisc version of this film in the special features was the very first time we were introduced to these deleted scenes that were edited together with the score added to it.
The way Robin delivered the line, "I'm a guy." How brilliant! That's comedy masquerading as drama masquerading as comedy. Nobody else could pull that off so effectively.
The end of the film is much more sadder now after Williams passing with him as Mrs. Doubtfire on a TV show reading a letter from a girl who's parents separated and addresses the girl and also the viewers. I even started tearing up just reading the final bit of dialog he gives.
this gives me newfound appreciation for the woman who played the neighbor Gloria. delivering lines like "i know i need a stiff stem" and "Euthanasia Dumbwaiter" completely straight.

From the minute he hit the TV and movie screens to the moment he left, I was always in awe of his ability at improv and how people loved him. This is the sort of human that will never be forgotten and will always be loved & appreciated for his skill at keeping people happy.
He was the only celebrity death that really made me think and had me depressed for awhile. He truly was one in a billion.

I had a connection with Robin, he and his family had a house down the street from my piano teacher. One time when my Mom was crossing the golden gate bridge she saw a big white SUV that she loved and so when it pulled up next to her in traffic she turned to the guy and asked, " how much for the car?" Then she realized it was Robin Williams and they both laughed. RIP Robin

There was this comic book store in San Francisco on Geary that I use to frequent and Robin would pop in from time to time. The first time I ever saw him he was super lowkey I barely even noticed it was him until I saw his famous hairy arms. He picked up a few comic books and then walked into the hentai section of the store. I don't think he bought any hentai but it's just funny knowing that he walked in there. Afterwards at the register his credit card didn't go through, I think the card just didn't want to swipe and I think he was getting a bit anxious because all the folks nearby started to look over, the cashier asked if he had another card until the owner came over and told Robin the comics are on the house. It wasn't until Robin was leaving that the cashier realized it was Robin Williams. Truly an interesting way to bump into him. He was definitely full-on in introvert mode.

@@deletedwaffles ive heard other stories of him visiting comic stores as well, so i can believe that. He was best friends with my favorite actor, the late Christopher Reeve, so perhaps Chris got him into Superman comics simply from playing the iconic super hero.

I was an extra in Mrs Doubtfire for a couple of days, and I would pay a lot to see hours of just the outtakes. Williams in the makeup was even more hilarious between takes. One of the crew told me he would sometimes go out in costume for lunch or something just to play in the character, and he liked not being recognized (this was in SF, where he lived).
I remember reading that Robin went, dressed and in character as Mrs. Doubtfire, to an adult bookstore and bought either porn or a sex toy, I forget which.

I seen those Ms. Doubtfire deleted scenes and I enjoyed them so much. Robin gave us so many years of laughter. He made laugh so hard we cried that is how much of a comic genius he was and also showed us how much more he can be when he can do series roles. I only wish he was still alive and done a Ms. Doubtfire sequel.
Ms. Doubtfire is one of those few, rare movies that you literally know word-by-word. Like Dumb & Dumber, Matilda or classic Star Wars. It's just two hours of quotes. Legendary.

I brought this video with me to play at the domestic violence shelter. I will never forget that day. The women, who were so down and sad, were all cooking together and running out to the t.v.band saying, "What is she doing now?" and laughing. I was so happy to see it. It felt like I lost a personal friend when he died.

we all fantasize about being movie stars at some point or other, but then the many realities hit us.. for me most of all, the sheer amount of energy it takes, the ridiculously long hours of nonstop 110% exertion. Like no wonder they're all on drugs. But then you get these occasional masters, the Robin Williamses, the Jackie Chans, people who go BEYOND that level, and end up putting out so much high-quality material it literally can't all be used. it just spews out of them.
Robin Williams was such an improviser there is probably a lost version of every movie he ever made. Including the animated ones.
Would you say Chris Columbus is an underrated director? I feel like he doesn't have the level of fame he deserves for the amount of solid work he has. He's no Scorsese but he has so many beloved movies
He's very good when the script's there (e.g. Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire and Harry Potter), but he has made some REAL stinkers in his time.
His resume is wild, and it feels like he has the filmography of three different directors smashed together. I always forget he did Pixels, the Rent film adaptation, and the first Percy Jackson movie too
People these days try to diminish his greatness as an explorer as well.

I was 7 years old and my brother 5 when my mother took us to see this film. Many of the adult jokes went over our heads but we loved it then and as adults appreciate it even more now. There is simply not anything wholesome like this being made today. It's part of what made going to the theaters magical back then.
That "I'm a guy" line is BRILLIANT. just so well executed and the drivers reaction is perfect.

In high school I was given an assignment in Drama Class to play a scene that would make me reconsider wanting to be an actor. The only scene that came to mind is the court room scene from this movie where Robin Williams gives this wonderful speech but the judge calls it "nothing more than a speech from a talented actor" Even though I didn't have kids cause I was just a teenager I could very easily imagine myself in his shoes. The man just wants to be a father to his children and he can't get custody basically just because he's an actor. I'd probably do the same thing if I was in his position... and I could actually get away with it but in real life I think it'd actually be impossible to fool the people who really know me. I'm 6'4" and like 260lbs even with profession movie quality make up and changing my voice anyone who's ever met me would still know it's me underneath. Robin on the other hand, for the longest time I thought there was an old lady actress they got to stand in for the Mrs. Doubtfire scenes, even knowing it was him I still didn't believe it was him. They basically created a person who doesn't exist and it still amazes me how well the make up was done to make that transformation work.
Robin Williams was truly a remarkable person and actor. I miss him so much.

Much like John Hughes films' I would LOVE to just see an extended cut of this film - it's like entire plot points completely cut - a whole different film!
How impossible it feels to know someone when you didn't know them. Robin left a piece of himself in every movie, every tv show, interview stand up and soon. When you gather those pieces, it feels, in your heart, that he was family! We were blessed he shared so much of himself with us.
I read the book as a kid and didn't particularly like it compared to the movie. I reread the book recently and still didn't like it but I was surprised that a lot of the deleted scenes are actually taking almost directly from the book. The bit where he talks about how he can't act to save his family is straight from the book pretty much. There's also a deleted scene where the Daniel and Miranda are fighting and claiming that the kids love one more than the other and Lydia the oldest screams, "I hate you both!" and that's strictly from the book too
I think for its 30 anniversary, Disney should reissue the extended cut in theatres.
All these delete sences are just a bonus I love them
What's even more incredible than Robin's improv is how well the other actors were able to just swing with it and still have super believable conversations for the situation.
Seeing Robin do his in thing and just go off script always makes me happy. He truly loved his craft. Me finding this video 3 months away from his 10TH Anniversary Death is weird but a nice timing! RIP Robin we all miss you Dearly!

I'd kill to see a new version of this film. Even if they don't want to actually cut it, I don't see why they can't sell us the deleted material as a collector's disc, so we can make our own cuts or just enjoy the scenes separately.

Thank you so much for this! Robin did lots of little acts of kindness all over the bay area. When I worked for the Berkeley Rep 25 years ago, I sat in his excellent seat to see plays, which he never used. He gave $10,000 to the theater every year. I live up the hill from an old indoor natatorium, one of the few left in the U.S. When it was renovated, the mushroom fountain was taken out of the shallow end of the pool and installed outdoors on a pedestal surrounded by benches, courtesy of Robin Williams. I miss him every time I see it, and I get a lump watching this footage. Again, thank you!

I assume you don't take requests for videos, but I think the first Ace Ventura movie would make for a good one of these videos. There's a lot of surprisingly messed up stuff that got cut out of that movie that we still haven't seen.

About 11 years ago I made my own "Extended Version" of Ace Ventura using the TV version I had recorded off of TBS, and my original VHS tape of the movie. I captured both tapes onto my computer and spliced in the deleted scenes into the original cut. My version runs almost 10 minutes longer than the theatrical cut.
To this day, I can't watch any other version. It just doesn't seem complete to me without these brilliant deleted scenes.

@@HatsOffEntertainment Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey would also be a good one, as the extended TV version was lost for a long time until I actually managed to track it down earlier this year, I bought a copy from a guy in one of my Facebook VHS groups and had a friend of mine rip the tape for me and the extended version is currently on Torrent Galaxy(it was on Internet Archive for a bit before being removed for copyright).

Some years ago there was a trend of editing movies to turn them into a completely opposing genre of film. The most popular seemed to be turning family films into horror movies. I thought it was rather clever the first time I saw it but it got really old very quickly. I have a sense of humor but the one where they turned Mrs. Doubtfire into a stalker horror movie deeply upset me. I, like most, saw this movie as a very touching film about a man who loves his family so much that he was willing to turn his life inside out and adopt a second persona and juggle two lives and jobs just to be with his family even though they were never meant to know it was him or they'd be out of his life forever. It may seem silly to some but I hated the idea of this movie being mocked and perverted.
I just wanted to get that off my chest. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.

Toys was considered one of his more “weaker movies.” The reason I say that is because NO ONE ever talks about it… same with “Father’s Day,” “Bicentennial Man,” “Flubber.” No one ever talks about those Robin Williams movies. Like any other actor, he had “weaker movies” also

Infact it had been years up untill he passed away that he had a great comedy hit. ha, the reason i bring up TOYS is becase it seemed like the perfect movie and character for him but I feel both him and Barry Levinson didnt focus on a good story and instead just did what ever they wanted on a big budget. its s shame because the sets are A+ in design and art and the opening is beautiful. But the rest of the movie is awkard and weired sadly :( . No matter he did MRS doughtfire the next year :)

It's always a bit awkward when people try to act like Robin Williams, they can never really capture what he could. I think one of the reasons is everyone focuses too much on how erratic and flamboyant he would be, but one of his true skills was his ability to not just go from 0 to 60 but from 60 to 0 and then back to 60 in a completely nonobtrusive way. No matter how hard or talented another actor is, there will never be another who can do what he did.
This is honestly one of my favorite movies, not even joking. It just holds a special, special place in my heart.
