This was a great movie. I can see why some of these silly scenes were left out, but there's a couple of heartwarming scenes that could have stayed. RIP Robin. You brought so much laughter and joy through the many roles you played. Nanu nanu

These cut scenes make a great movie in and of themselves! Although the final cut feels like it's missing nothing, I wish they'd kept in some of these like both the school scenes - They were moving, and added depth and complexity to the family relationship. That little vendetta against Gloria and her flowers was pretty funny to, albeit in a dark way.
This is one of Robin William's best films. I remember going with my Mom to see this in the theater and we laughed our asses off at him! These deleted scenes are hilarious-especially the washing machine scene! ROFLOL!
The washing machine scene definitely should have stayed in. Absolutely hilarious!

Man, after seeing some of these deleted scenes I imagine the film would have had so much more depth, but then again, this was always going to be a lighthearted comedy. There should be two versions of the film.
so much untapped gold in these takes, i can sort of see why some didnt make it but the bits where she gets revenge on her neighbor were awesome.

Takes for funny, but I think the movie turned out perfect. Robin Williams was such a good actor and he really made that movie. I miss him. He was so talented.
I have always preferred Robin in serious roles. Many people love the comedic Robin, but to me it's just silly. But his serious acting just knocks me out!

That scene is on the DVD. If you watch it on TV it's cut cause it's not relevant
Neither of them had the same energy or emotion in that scene as the ones when they were cleaning up inside. It seems awkward, and I think it is good they left it out.
Ok.. being from Louisiana, I LOVE the scene nearly at the end. The Cajun accent was PRICELESS and made my night! Sure do miss Robin Williams, he made this entire movie, he was a comedic genius.
The world truly got a little darker the day he left it.

We kids were the only ones watching Mork and Mindy. We Never missed a show! Even got to the TV early. It was kids who saw his talent, which really got him noticed. My mother fell in love with Williams with Mrs. Doubtfire, a bit different from his previous work. Older now, I love it and can understand the nuances better. Need to watch again. Some of those scenes were just snippets of others, sure wished they left that shot of the spelling bee. It adds so much! I always felt there was something missing the movie/dilemma developed so rapidly (father missing his kids) deleted scenes should have been kept!
Just so you know... I have ADHD, OCD, PTSD and a few other alphabet things... I could only hope to achieve what "Mr Doubtfire can!!!lolol

I miss acting, back in the 90s. The storylines were incredible and excellent for movies.
I always thought Mrs Doubtfire looked like Glenn Close.
Someone should splice these back into the movie and make an extended version.
I'm thinking of doing it myself, but there's a lot of other scenes still missing.

That first deleted scenes a reason why they had every rating for this movie because Robin was the best at what he did! I want to see the NC17 version I know is out there and no matter what we deserve that because of how great Robin was!

If he hadn't died we could've seen Mrs Doubtfire 2. One of the few reboots that would've actually worked because he'd have aged into his character, rather than aging out of it like in most reboots.
No it whouldnt, he said it himself, whats the point, he's identity was out, that was the only plot for the movie.
A sequel would never have came close to living up to this classic gem. Sometimes sequels just aren't needed.

As fun as it was to watch those, I'm glad most of the Daniel Hillard scenes didn't make it to the final cut. It shows a frustrated, meaner and bitter person that I never detected in the original. On one end, they evoke greater sympathy for his ex-wife's position, but they also make your heart break for those kids seeing how they are caught up in the bitterness.
This is a wonderful movie...i cant help but say I really miss Robin...😢
That was amazing, some of these should have been cut out, but some were simply brilliant, they had me dying laughing 🤣 Some of them shed a whole different light on things, to know exactly why they were. I completely agree that to add all of these back in as some special extended directors cut. The whole thing would gross another 400 million. This was brilliant, Robin was brilliant. I never got into acting, but I can do different voices to sound like almost anybody. I owe that little trick to Robin Williams. To me he was one of the funniest human beings to ever grace the planet. His timing. He was a comic genius, and will greatly be missed. Robin Williams would have you busting a gut, about to pee your pants. Tears in your eyes. Fall out your chair laughing. I would be embarrassed to watch him in public, because I’d crack up so loud and hard, people would’ve thought me insane. Robin Williams was truly one of the best. A very hard act to follow… R. I. P You will sooo truly missed, and forever cherished.
Nowadays there are a lot of Mrs. Doubtfires walking the downtown streets, but none look as good as he does a woman.

I find the scene starting at 14:30 in the spelling bee really amazingly written. The actress that played Lydia did an awesome job. I felt her pain watching the scene. In my opinion, the scene should’ve been in the movie.

The final script of the bus driver actually showed how open minded he was when Mrs. Doubtfire admitted his manhood.
The 30th anniversary is coming up in like 2 years they should add all of these scenes to the original film and make it the special and extended edition/Version more like a director's cut

The director is the one who cut these scenes in the first place. Because they would have made the movie drag on for little payoff. Both of the Gloria scenes would have ground the movie to a halt.

14:23 This scene in itself gets your attention, and the follow-up scene when Daniel apologizes to Lydia is very good. But I can see why they removed it from the film. The argument over the seat makes the Williams character look petty, self-centered, hostile, out-of-control, and even a bit stupid.
