i wish i had a college story lol but i ain't in college yet, still in 9th grade lol. if you do find some stories based on those then that would be great!! love you bro keep up the amazing work!!
That first story with the woman with dementia. I've been working overnight shift in group homes for 25 years now. The knives are ALWAYS kept locked up. I know this was a private residence, but having knives accessible to an elderly dementia patient is a precaution carelessly overlooked by the daughter
I second this. I work in a nursing home and care for patients with dementia among other conditions. I have to reintroduce myself to these folks everyday. A lot of times they are disoriented and you have to calmly explain who you are and where they’re at. I bet if some of the dementia patients had access to knifes, they might attempt to protect themselves because they perceive danger. It’s heartbreaking that they have to live in such bewilderment, to wake up in an unknown world everyday surrounded by strange people and without ever getting to feel safe and secure. Dementia is a cruel disease.
@@HikazePrincess I believe it was a typo because I'm pretty sure it said the woman with dementia was like 65 so the mother would have to be in her 80s at least and the way person wrote the story they said they were kinda surprised the daughter didn't watch her mother herself. It wouldn't be surprising if an 80 year old couldn't watch a 65 year old
I third this. My mother has worked in nursing and nursing homes or private care most of her life and from what I've subconsciously learned from her is always make sure sharp objects are out of reach of dementia or any sort of memory issue patients
The first story just pissed me off more than scared me. Pissed off the daughter is clearly in denial about how advanced her mothers situation is, pissed off the aid clearly isn’t as experienced with dementia as they think, and pissed off anyone with dementia (violent tendencies or not) could access any knives 🙄🙄🙄
Right? The daughter should have known better and the person getting the job should’ve known they couldn’t handle someone with such advanced stage dementia, screw dementia!
That was at least one major reason that she actually didn’t call law enforcement, she’s only worried about herself and thinks of these jobs as “do nothing” jobs, which is also very wrong. Further, I suspect she’s paid under the table. Pray for her future patients, holy hell. @@Page57

Scariest first day on the job experiences for me is always facing endless paperwork, malfunctioning equipment, and that constant feeling of dread that just never seems to fade.
The third story about T.C is the scariest for me, but I’m glad that he was with another trainee and his manager to go with him to see how pizza deliveries are carried out. But then when the manager walked in the sacrifice of the baby deer that genuinely freaked me out
It wasn’t a cult. And why would they quit over that situation. So sitting around a campfire cooking a deer made your heart heavy? Maybe they were just sitting laughing while cooking a deer. I don’t feel like most big chain delivery places are too concerned with employee safety. Hopefully I’m wrong but there are so many stories where the driver goes to great lengths to make sure the customer gets their pizza when they shouldn’t have to do all that. Just to get back and get in trouble by the manager. At least this one was there.
Martha sitting on the edge of the bed starring at the wall reminds me of a friend of mine, who I won’t share his name, but had an experience with his friend who has some sort of disability. One time he found her inside a small room sitting on a chair just starring at the ceiling in the dark

People with dementia can get pretty violent. I always remember something that happened to my mum's friend that gave me the chills. She used to care for an old man here in England who lived alone in his house and his dementia was getting pretty bad. She visited him as normal one morning to find him slumped in a chair in the middle of the hallway with one hand behind his back. His head lifted slowly, revealing a very large smile and raised eyebrows. She asked if he was okay and he simply replied, "ask me what's behind my back." She kept one had on the front door and ensured it was open slightly before asking one last time if he was alright. Again, he simply said, "ask me what's behind my back." As she turned to leave the house apparently he bolted out the chair at an alarming speed wielding an AXE and laughing! She slammed the door behind her as she ran out onto the street screaming for help. He did not chase after her and was apparently very distressed and confused when the police arrived with no recollection of the incident. She never cared for that man again and he was eventually moved into a care home. Thought I'd share that one with you as it still freaks me out to this day!
Literally everything in the first story is exactly what one should expect as a caretaker for those suffering from dementia. It was frustrating, to say the least, that this was portrayed as some kind of horror story.
@@kyliedee6079these are all basically made up stories in my opinion . Even the “true” stories mr.nightmare posts are exaggerated they just wanna make a scary story. Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy them tho

First story reminded me of a story of my own. My grandmother for around 10 years of the last part of her life from ‘96-‘06 (a year before I was born) had Alzheimer’s. What I find scary is of a time my dad had tried to feed her and she ended up jabbing my dad in the side with a knife. It didn’t go too terrible far but my dad had to call 911 to get stitched up. For the ten years she suffered with it, she only went into a home once, otherwise everyday my dad diligently bathed, clothed, fed, and cared for his mother. I have to respect the dedication and how hard it must’ve been for him as I couldn’t imagine being in that situation.
in the first story, i cant believe colleen was more concerned about the woman leaving martha than that woman’s life and safety. ridiculous, and I’m glad she never went back
I discovered Mr. Nightmare 2 years ago I used to get every morning around 5 just to listen to them & I still listen to them this guy does so good telling the stories sometimes I lays in bed at night listening to them im so addicted to Mr. Nightmare love him & his stories he can make anything sound scary your the goat Mr. Nightmare keep up the amazing work
It seems to me that the person in the first story is in the wrong line of work. Obviously the lady was confused and scared that a stranger was in her home. I mean, sure - the daughter should've made sure no weapons were accessible. But the OP needs to slow her roll. The lady had dementia, ffs!
Claims to have experience with dementia patients yet continously runs parallels between typical dementia behaviors with those of characters in horror movies. This is why you don't hire randos as caretakers for loved ones.
EXACTLY. like you were told she wanders around at night and whatnot and you still took the job, and apparently have experience, yet you are shocked and terrified when she wanders around?? when she said she saw something that looked like it was from a scene in a horror movie, i was expecting there to be buckets of blood or something, but martha was just opening and closing the stove?? i can understand being freaked out when martha was in her room with a knife, but the way she handled it seriously sounded like she was unqualified, esp with the whole "i could care less about martha i gotta get out of here". like you stated yourself that woman seemed weak asf, not to mention she's a DEMENTIA PATIENT, like how tf do you think she feels rn?? she isn't some crazy murderer, she genuinely felt unsafe because there was some person she didn't recognize in her home in the middle of the night, she could have literally called the daughter to talk with her mom and help explain or smth
Agree with all of y'all! This story has inexperience written all over it. Especially comparing typical dementia behavior to a scary movie. Martha had zero clue who this woman was. She was informed about her getting up at night..she also went to sleep on the job. Anyone with actual experience with dementia and Alzheimer's wouldn't have acted or reacted like this person.
That third story sounds like a bit of fresh air to me because in every food delivery horror story we hear the delivery person facing sketchy and scary situations ALONE, risking to be considered as a failure or a lier to their boss for not getting the delivery done. I was kind of « pleased » that these two poor co-workers were lead by their manager.
As soon as I heard the manager ask the trainees to wait at the front while they went around back I knew something was about to go down....... Never knew cultists liked pizza parties though.... That's a new one
I genuinely feel bad for Martha and the caregiver. The caregiver doesn’t deserve to have his life threatened and Martha for having dementia. I just hope the caregiver doesn’t blame Martha for anything. I feel bad for the baby deer.

He did not chase after her and was apparently very distressed and confused when the police arrived with no recollection of the incident.
She never cared for that man again and he was eventually moved into a care home.
Thought I'd share that one with you as it still freaks me out to this day!
Greatest creator ever !
He’s a good storyteller man

Literally everything in the first story is exactly what one should expect as a caretaker for those suffering from dementia. It was frustrating, to say the least, that this was portrayed as some kind of horror story.
OP sounded unprofessional and like an amateur for someone with years of experience
@@kyliedee6079these are all basically made up stories in my opinion . Even the “true” stories mr.nightmare posts are exaggerated they just wanna make a scary story. Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy them tho
I actually have had my first day at work today! What a neat coincidence! Thank you Mr. Nightmare!❤
Oh snap! How did things go?
Good luck out there

First day on the job is nerve wrecking. You don’t really know what to expect because it’s a different environment. Hope you had a great first day and good luck to those who are interviewing.

Mr Nightmare > Mr Beast
Respect to your dad. He is a real man and son. May your grandmother rest in peace.🙏

in the first story, i cant believe colleen was more concerned about the woman leaving martha than that woman’s life and safety. ridiculous, and I’m glad she never went back
As horrific as that third story is, I’m just imagining it as SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr Krabs as the manager 💀
With the Krusty Krab Pizza! Lol
Awesome stories. Your channel inspired me making a horror stories from far east Asia.
Nightmare keep up the amazing work
Yo yo been watching mr nightmare for 7 years shits wild
Same
Time flys fr bro
It seems to me that the person in the first story is in the wrong line of work. Obviously the lady was confused and scared that a stranger was in her home. I mean, sure - the daughter should've made sure no weapons were accessible. But the OP needs to slow her roll. The lady had dementia, ffs!
No one wants to get stabbed
@jmaldo92 That and the patient had really advanced stages of dementia, she most likely needed to be admitted at that point
@@Nutella2004 right? That's the daughter's fault
Claims to have experience with dementia patients yet continously runs parallels between typical dementia behaviors with those of characters in horror movies. This is why you don't hire randos as caretakers for loved ones.
That's how the lady was acting so of course that's how they are going Describe her.💀
EXACTLY. like you were told she wanders around at night and whatnot and you still took the job, and apparently have experience, yet you are shocked and terrified when she wanders around?? when she said she saw something that looked like it was from a scene in a horror movie, i was expecting there to be buckets of blood or something, but martha was just opening and closing the stove?? i can understand being freaked out when martha was in her room with a knife, but the way she handled it seriously sounded like she was unqualified, esp with the whole "i could care less about martha i gotta get out of here". like you stated yourself that woman seemed weak asf, not to mention she's a DEMENTIA PATIENT, like how tf do you think she feels rn?? she isn't some crazy murderer, she genuinely felt unsafe because there was some person she didn't recognize in her home in the middle of the night, she could have literally called the daughter to talk with her mom and help explain or smth
@@nenko3011 factss she didn't know what she was doing fr
Yesss I have been working w dementia 25 years, all common behaviors, Martha was terrified and uhh dementia is NOT a developmental disability.
The first time i watched this, the sound of the plate crashing to the floor jumpscared me.
It's never a bad day when Mr. Nightmare uploads. Been watching for 9 years now.
same, been watching since 2015

Thanks for the vid man
Your videos consistently deliver valuable insights. Thanks for being a guiding light. Truly inspiring for my own content! ❤❤
I’ve been watching for 8 years the guys a 🐐
Story #1 reminded me of the movie “the visit” from 2015
That third story sounds like a bit of fresh air to me because in every food delivery horror story we hear the delivery person facing sketchy and scary situations ALONE, risking to be considered as a failure or a lier to their boss for not getting the delivery done. I was kind of « pleased » that these two poor co-workers were lead by their manager.
The manager in the last story is the type of guy who dies first in a horror movie
As soon as I heard the manager ask the trainees to wait at the front while they went around back I knew something was about to go down....... Never knew cultists liked pizza parties though.... That's a new one
@@clasherking4528I know right means something creepy is about to happen!!
Mr Nightmare deserves a diamond play button
Thank you, Mr. Nightmare ❤ I listen every night.
I genuinely feel bad for Martha and the caregiver. The caregiver doesn’t deserve to have his life threatened and Martha for having dementia. I just hope the caregiver doesn’t blame Martha for anything. I feel bad for the baby deer.
Literally watching this at 5 in the morning and still shitting my pants
considering that i just got a call for an interview today, this is great timing
Where'd you apply?
A new mr.nightmare video on a Friday?!?!?! This just made my day better!!!!

If I’m the house in the 3rd story, I’m scared shitless. 3 people delivering a pizza is sketchy haha
Yeah, true. But hopefully you wouldn't also be part of a cult!
Homecare worker here, story one pissed me off. Why are the knives left in unlocked cabinets? If we have a person like that we lock things up and out of sight.
Thanks to Mr. Nightmare I’ll never deliver or have anything to do with going to sb random house for a job😭
