I was literally walking in my backyard against the woods to pick apples late at night when that story was playing, right as he said turn the flashlight to the left I was in the process of turning my head lamp towards the woods on the left.. spooky feeling
I am so glad the kids from the second story survived...just hearing that her curiosity got the better of her and she wanted to open the door made me want to throw my computer. Learn from horror movies...DON'T open the door. DON'T go alone. DON'T follow the strange noise! EDIT to note that upon second listen, she indeed did not open the door.
Mr. Nightmare really educates me as to how many creeps try something, get scared off, then are never seen again. They must reoffend its just scary to think how many people are just out there, letting their intrusive thoughts win.
More like that there's a lot of creeps who's morals and values and lifestyle habits are messed-up in general, going beyond the level of having intrusive thoughts. Like how most people that make edgy comments mean what they say, and they aren't all just people trying to sound edgy while saying things that they would never really do IRL. 0_0

something about that story. At the end, Mr. N said that shed we dared each other to go into had dead bodies, but the story failed to mention they did that as they walked down the road. Would have made it scarier if he told that part. Where the kids passed the guy, found a shed then dared each other to go into it... Am I wrong here or did anyone else notice this?
details you couldn’t make up, and mental illness like that is truly unsettling. when you think you know someone and they just turn completely different
The second story really got me. I used to live in a similar sort of place, deep in the woods with little outside contact (neighbors, shops, etc). At the time I had some undiagnosed mental issues, and would regularly stay up for weeks on end. I developed insomnia after my nightmares got so bad that I stopped sleeping, and made myself so paranoid that I stopped looking out windows at night altogether because I thought I would see something looking back at me. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been for those girls.
@@bluetwinkiesaregood He already got to five people without being noticed. Assuming he killed them, he could have stolen five dead bodies from one or several morgues/cemeteries, which is still difficult and insane. I'm not surprised he managed to break into the house. Good thing for me I was tough (strong physically I mean) and when on this night I saw what, I think was 4 guys walking towards me asking me for a cigarette, I just lowered my head and ran towards them. They didn't expect it, probably because no one had done that to them before, or because what they really wanted was a cigarette and they weren't gonna hurt me. But I didn't stick around long enough to find out. I just ran towards them, and I stuck out both my elbows when I was close enough to them and actually knocked two of them to the ground, and ran the rest of the way home. In hindsight, since they were easily knocked down, and the fact that they didn't give chase, it makes me think they really didn't have any malicious intent. But I didn't know that then. And you see, I still used that short cut after that night because it was much faster, and it had only happened once out of all the times I did use it, so I thought I was good for a while instead of thinking that they may be waiting for me next time I walked through there.

@mirawinemiller1081 You don‘t know whether he has NPD or not. He may have BPD or have something else going on with him. Additionally, how people act can vary depending on their personality. Stop acting like an armchair psychologist.
he’s probably more borderline than narcissist, or atleast that’s how it came off to me, potentially both as they’re often comorbid personality disorders or have intertwining traits.
Currently watching this at 2:30 AM, lights out in bed. I find these stories really entertaining despite the unrealisticness of some of them. Keep it up Mr. Nightmare
Most likely because you have company with you in case you get attacked. You feel safe knowing someone will be there to help you or at least you wouldn’t die alone.
@@virt7al Yeah, more or less safety in numbers. When there are others with you, people are less likely to attack you, or if they do you can all fight back. A darker, more "selfish" side of that would be that there's less of a chance that the threat would take/attack you because there are other options that might distract him/her from you. Also, when in a large group, if you begin to feel unsafe, try to center yourself in the group so any potential threats can't see you as well.
How on earth did I discover your channel just a few days ago? Man, you're good. Story number 2...did they not lock the door or what? Glad they were okay and that creep got arrested
I think it’s awesome how people can discover Mr. Nightmare at different times! Since you just found him, I’d highly recommend listening to some of his old videos, because they’re also excellent. Heck, there’s even four more of these sleepover videos…
Mr Nightmare is my favorite. I have always been a fan of the creepy. He has the best voice. Wonder how he looks? My daughter and I sit on the edge of our seats waiting for new stories and sometimes listening to old stories while riding
Story 1: The only thing going through my head when the kids decided to ignore the dad and go back outside was 'Darwin Award'. They were my kids I'd punish the heck out of them.
Right? Lol The dad specifically told them not to sleep outside for a reason because of what the kids themselves told him. It’s one thing to disobey if the kids didn’t actually see anything but they literally said that they saw someone walk back into the woods, so they themselves should’ve known better than to go back outside
I cant remember when was the last entry to this series. And he just casually drops another one. And 22 whole minutes long! Mr Nightmare might be the most consistent horror story teller on youtube.
The last story is really heart breaking. Sebastian’s response doesn’t sound sick. It’s the product of someone with a very distraught childhood. God knows what kind of trauma he may have experienced. He has serious mood regulation issues. Fuck I want to give that dude a hug. The guy in the story, sorry for your experience, you sound like a normal dude not touched by the harshness of life
Dawg, sometimes there's a good reason some people don't have any friends. Some of these people are dangerous, and acknowledging that doesn't mean we're untouched by the harshness of life
Someone give this man a cookie 🍪 for his dedication to this amazing channel. Been watching for 7 years. Can’t believe it’s great consistency and quality of videos. Great job Mr Nightmare 👏
Thanks for your constant efforts. You helped me increase my english skills, you spooked me and cheered me up. Years ago you helped me in my darkest and lonliest times to get to sleep and to forget about my worries. I am happy whenever I get notified about a new video and I will be as long as I can. I can't count, how many times I listened to your old stories. Thank you always taking your time to find the very best stories ever. Dunno if you'll ever read this, but if you do I hope it makes you smile. To me you're more than a "voice" or a source of entertainment. You'll always be the friend who was with me, wenn I was living alone in a bad place with no one else around.
You know it’s gonna be a good video with that type of music and content . Discovered this channel back in 8th grade and ever since then , it’s always been entertaining.
In story two the feeling of someone watching you is called "scopasethesia." It's the sense from the brain to warn us. Thank you Mr. Nightmare for another great upload. Told perfectly my friend. 😮😢❤ God bless 👑🙏🕊🩵
now that summer is officially starting and school ending, I wish all horror fans great holidays and a good time continuing to listen to horror stories ;) stay safe
The first story sounded like a fun idea for the kids for a sleepover but once there was an unidentified creep nearby. They should've never gone back to their tents after one of the parents told them they should sleep inside the house. Sometimes kids can be really dumb and they should listen to their parents. The second story sounded like it would be peaceful to live in an area like that but even living out in the countryside has its dangers. The kids should've never gone on that hike and when they had that encounter. They should've told their parents the second they got back to the house and not wait till something worse almost happened and one of them shouldn't have gone outside when they couldn't sleep. But I'm glad that her parents and the parents of her friends got informed once the crazy guy left when they screamed. Good thing the cops eventually caught that maniac. The third story tells me if someone brags about all sorts of cool things they did or their life. It's probably lies and you shouldn't hang out with them when off work. I don't know if this person is bipolar or not but whatever this guy has. I think going through therapy might be something to try out. Where I work. Years ago we had a new worker at my job and he seemed quiet at first but after a few weeks of working there. He was able to talk to his coworkers but for some reason he wanted spend all his time with me once I asked one of the coworkers his name because I just wanted to know whose who so I know who they are when talking to them. This coworker was always asking me personal questions like where I live, if I worked a second job, he would get nosy and be looking at my work hours and asking me why I only work so many days an hour and if I wanted to go to a wedding he was invited to. I had zero interest in doing anything with him after work because I didn't like hanging out with coworkers after work because I wasn't the type to go out partying. Then this coworker began to try and make things hard for me like he wouldn't listen to me when I told him how we did this and that at work, he talked normally around everyone to make me look crazy and he behaved like a bully around me. Our boss at the time told me all we've done is complain a lot about each other so that told me that my coworker was spreading lies and slander about me to him. This coworker even told a lie that no one would believe when I was using the bathroom and he claimed to have turned the lights off and on by accident with his elbow while he was drying his hands after washing them. He kept asking me why I don't want to hang out with him or why I didn't want to be his friend when after everything he was doing to me or around me. He was obviously a drug head or having a mental issue. Then one day. I found out he got fired when one of my coworkers told me he got fired for refusing to do his job and he got fired on the spot. While I was relieved. I found out this former coworker of mine got arrested for attempt of murder to his grandmother which of course we don't know if they'll let him go or place him in prison once his trial comes along. But we found out this guy has been arrested twelve times for crimes of anything drug and theft related and crimes of violence. He admitted to being schizophrenic but with all the lies he told. Who knows if that was the truth or a lie. I haven't seen him since but all I can say is good riddance to that psycho coworker of mine who just saw me as another potential victim.
What really gets me in all this is that on top of how bad all their decisions were, the girl's friend didn't even listen to her. She was like "I can't see him now so he doesn't exist because it's not like people can duck or hide behind things, you pranked me!" It's insane.
@@WynneL I agree. I mean it's one thing for teens to prank each other or others for a laugh like hiding in a room and jumping out at them and saying something to jumpscare them but when a friend is trying to tell another that a maniac they encountered again is outside their window and they should tell their parents and call the cops but their friend doesn't believe them under the impression that they think it's a prank. That's why kids and teenagers should listen to their parents or each other or at least hear each other out.

This is a post from a while ago, but I just wanted to comment this under it. Me and my dad used to watch your videos all the time when I was a kid, we loved all of the stories, it was a weekly thing. He passed away in 2019, and watching your videos always reminds me of when me and him did. Thank you for 10 years of narrated horror stories ❤

I once fired a round at an intruder at my nieces sleepover. They were in the living room and I was upstairs exercising, and to make a long story short, the intruder threw a brick through the living room window. My niece and her friends ran to my room to say that someone broke the living room window. I grabbed my .9mm, ran downstairs, and shot at the intruder. I thought of chasing him down, but I thought that the intruder had a buddy who would enter the house, so I stayed with my nieces until the police arrived.
Freaking make this a mr nightmare story go into length about the expeirience add some spice and detail boom a story for the channel. You should email him.
That is an almost happy ending, and how they should all be. There would be far less crime if criminals feared their would be targets. We have the right to be safe in our own homes.
that's smart. because once the threat is running away they are no longer a "threat" in the law's eyes. and if u shot him as he was retreating and he got injured or died u could have gotten arrested. maybe even charged with murder. i learned that from the movie FELON. once the perp is leaving. let him go.

Mr. Nightmare really does a good job in his narration. I discovered him about a year ago and blew through every single video he made to that point In a month. As soon as a new video comes out it makes my day. There are alot of creeps and wicked people out there. Some are really damaged and corrupted by fear and rage. Some are psychopaths, sociopaths, and they’re sick. And some…some people are just truly evil. Be vigilant at all times. Because you can find yourself in a bad situation like this in a moments notice. I believe most people are just trying to get by, and want to do good. But there are plenty of people out there who genuinely want to hurt you.

Yeah the Sebastian guy needs help.
@mirawinemiller1081 You don‘t know whether he has NPD or not. He may have BPD or have something else going on with him. Additionally, how people act can vary depending on their personality.
Stop acting like an armchair psychologist.
I wouldn‘t say he was narcissistic at all. I‘d say he seemed more jealous than anything.
he’s probably more borderline than narcissist, or atleast that’s how it came off to me, potentially both as they’re often comorbid personality disorders or have intertwining traits.
Kids in Story 1: *Calls off game because of sketchy dude*
Also kids in Story 1: *Goes back outside*
the visuals in 8:38 are truly beautiful, the videos lately have a new fresh breath into them, great visuals and editing, great job!
So is 7:34 !!
Yeah for real. I’ve watched a few other channels, and Mr. Nightmare’s visuals (and everything else) are always top notch.
Currently watching this at 2:30 AM, lights out in bed. I find these stories really entertaining despite the unrealisticness of some of them. Keep it up Mr. Nightmare
Something weird about horror is that no matter if you’re experiencing horror, or watching horror, the more people you have the less scary it is
Most likely because you have company with you in case you get attacked.
Mr. Nightmare back at it with tha sleepover stories. 1 of my top fav scary story categories. 🙌🏼🔥
I didn’t even realize we were already at volume 5!
@@PunmasterSTP Right, it felt like yesterday when he uploaded Volume 1. The more U know 😆🙌🏼
I think we can all agree that Nightmare's scary stories are one of the best things to watch during the summer

How on earth did I discover your channel just a few days ago? Man, you're good. Story number 2...did they not lock the door or what? Glad they were okay and that creep got arrested
Sometimes I wonder how true these stories are. Very entertaining but sometimes too convienent.
@@Paul_pp Yeah me too, but I just try to go along with the vibe and be entertained!
I think it’s awesome how people can discover Mr. Nightmare at different times! Since you just found him, I’d highly recommend listening to some of his old videos, because they’re also excellent. Heck, there’s even four more of these sleepover videos…
You believe these stories are true?
You have a LOT of great videos to listen to 😂
That"my dad unzipped our tent" part in the first story made my blood turn cold omg. Also that noise sound effect of realization is horrifying.
Right? Lol
The dad specifically told them not to sleep outside for a reason because of what the kids themselves told him. It’s one thing to disobey if the kids didn’t actually see anything but they literally said that they saw someone walk back into the woods, so they themselves should’ve known better than to go back outside
Those Kids Were Dumb dumb
That was honestly their fault.
I don't really see the point in punishing them. They obviously learned their lesson.
ik a guy whos won 2 of those. and hes still alive
I cant remember when was the last entry to this series. And he just casually drops another one. And 22 whole minutes long! Mr Nightmare might be the most consistent horror story teller on youtube.
Mr. Nightmare and R.L. Stine would make the perfect duo for creepy storytelling.
Some of these people are dangerous, and acknowledging that doesn't mean we're untouched by the harshness of life
Agree so much with this, that in guy in the story lacks empathy
God bless 👑🙏🕊🩵
Mr. Nightmare always manage to put me in a better mood, and not many things have been cheering me up lately, so thanks!
Have been following this channel since mid 2015. So awesome to see how consistent he is nowadays 🤗
now that summer is officially starting and school ending, I wish all horror fans great holidays and a good time continuing to listen to horror stories ;) stay safe
There is nothing better than coming back to your house after eating in mid summer and listening to a new mr. nightmare video. Keep up the good work!
You added your own story and i was interested 🔥
@@driplord6864 Maybe I could suggest it to Mr. Nightmare? It's not complete horror like most of the stories in these videos but it has a dark and scary element to it towards the end.
@@brocksampson3405 go for it man I’m pretty confident he can make it more scary for you cuz the situation itself is disturbing plus it’ll be coo to have your story told by one of the best storytellers of our time 💯
1:27 to first story.
Thanks for keeping your ads short and to the point. I've seen creators do 7 minute scentsy ads. I literally turn off the video as they've made me fall asleep before multiple times. Thanks for keeping yours short and to the point !
Your storytelling is so vivid and suspenseful! Every episode leaves me wanting more. One of the best ghost story channels I've come across
I Can’t get enough of Mr.Nightmares stories . Keep it up!
10 more years 👍

Mr. Nightmare never disappoints.
Non playable character.
Except the video with the sponsorship in which he included it too many times into the stories
@@Nolimitgang999 that video was funny wym
the sound of your voice and the tone in which you tell these stories leaves me in suspense, well done
Next can you do 3 true public bathroom horror stories? That seems to be the trend with lockdowns and other stuff like at a gas station
Since finding you (Mr Nightmare) over a year ago, I binged all the videos as fast as possible.
Thank you for always entertaining me.
You were my first scary story voice on youtube, and will always be close to my heart.
the happiness is even bigger when i see new sponsors, thank you for your work!
I love it when Mr Nightnare advertises perfume and spray it really is entertaining before dark horror stories
I’ve been binge watching you every night. It is odd for me because everyone who knows me knows I never watch scary/horry movies/tv shows but I’m addictive to your channel.

I was watching the old sleep over story’s a couple days ago and I was hyped to see he posted a new one. Keep up the good work 👍
It's been quite some time since Mr. Nightmare has done a video on sleepovers. Nice to see him going back to his roots with the classics.
I definitely enjoy the classics, but I think an odd topic every now and then can help keep things spicy.
I’m working on my dream business all by myself from scratch and at many points it gets really tough, these videos help me relax and get through many hours of work so thank you 🤲🏻
Cool! What business are you starting?
I still remember the first time i watched Mr. Nightmare, it was the creepiest 911 calls. After that i binged like 10 more videos, couldn't sleep without a light for a month after..lovely memories 😂
Man, it feels nice watching one of these videos every now and then!
I think you’re the only channel I’ve been watching for a long time and still feel that excitement when I see you’ve uploaded a new video, well done.

Just found this channel and I am binge listening, how did I go through TH-cam all these years deprived of this, thank God I found it
I cant thank the random Facebook pages enough that use to post Mr. Nightmare videos that lead me here been following every since. I always be sure comment Mr. Nightmare as the OP tho
@@elibonham4388 👍 I second that!
"Say hello to my little friend!" 🔫
that's smart. because once the threat is running away they are no longer a "threat" in the law's eyes. and if u shot him as he was retreating and he got injured or died u could have gotten arrested. maybe even charged with murder. i learned that from the movie FELON. once the perp is leaving. let him go.
I cant believe how good of a content creator Mr Nightmare has become and honestly has been one of the youtubers ive been watching since 2015 and on of the last good youtubers imo
Regarding story 1: Geez that's terrifying
Regarding story 2: Thank god you didn't go into that shed
Regarding story 3: I bet he has a history of stuff like that, that's probs why he transferred to your company at first
Conclusion: Story 3 is the most terrifying
The best time to listen to these stories at night during summer vacation.
I was listening to Mr Nightmare when I was in school, now I'm a teacher and still listen to him everytime he uploads.
Thats so sweet 🥹
He’s so good at storytelling that why he’s better than all TH-camrs that do it and the story’s are also good. (:

I’ve been listening to your videos for almost 9 years now.. thank you Mr. Nightmare for the amazing content, and keeping me enter while I work.
