Any theories? Mine is cult. They asked personal questions and even in those tight knit communities there's always someone who knows its f*up and can't get out, but try to save others. The guy who warned him was on a younger side, so maybe he was also a victim of "Pheobe". Also he knew "Pheobe" wasn't her real name, and sometimes ppl in cults take up new names.
I just assumed she was looking to rip him off somehow and those ppl knew what she does and the questions and looks were an attempt to make him uncomfortable and leave cause they didn’t want to see her hurt another guy. Good thing it worked.

At first I was thinking one of those real life murder mystery dinner parties. She may have been the owner of the house and was planning on _using_ the storyteller as the victim. But I’d probably say a human trafficking scheme of some sort.
the last story was a breath of fresh air. it was so different and memorable, wasn't predictable like many others and it was more of a bizarre mystery that actually keeps you awake at night thinking because it has no conclusion. i hope for more stories like this in the future, maybe a video of stories of this type. it was really interesting

@@nsasupporter7557 Some people said it was a cult, and other people said it was a human trafficking ring. They were going to drug the guy and see him off to the highest bidder. The house was probably being rented, that's why there were no cars around, which would make it difficult to trace the guy's disappearance back to them.
And as for the other guy warning him, it's known that in some cults there are still a few good people who are trapped and can't get out, so they try to warn others to stay away.
I wouldn't be surprised if this story is true. Shit like this happens every day and can happen to anyone. You think it would never happen to you until it does.

that last story was probably one of the only mr. nightmare stories that left me wanting more answers. there have been stories similar to this, but this was just so weird and felt so off, it made me want to know what that party really was.

@@wilxa i don't really know any of the videos in specific, but thee have been a few with the classic "guy goes to party and something is off about everyone in party". the only one i can actually name is one of nightmare's older ones where a guy delivered pizza to a family gathering where everyone was wearing animal masks, and even then i don't remember which pizza delivery vid it was.
but if you've been a mr. nightmare fan for as long as i am, you're bound to find some stories that are somewhat similar to this. not because they're fabricated, but because they're fairly common.

I really liked Story 3. At the end of the story, I just kept asking questions to myself. What were the intentions of the people in the party? What was this so called party?
Who was the man that helped the protagonist and why did he help him? It does a good job at making the viewer speculate.
What are your theories on this story?
Perhaps the guy is probably a undercover cop or agent getting info about this "party"
Personally, I think the most likely scenario is that the woman was "bait" for a human trafficking ring of some sort. It's very common to have women be extorted into supplying victims to these organizations. The lack of cars at this rich house and the non-existentence of the host makes me think it wasn't owned by anyone and was rather rented for the occasion. It would make sense as it would be harder to trace any crimes back to anyone. I presume that eventually they'd have tried to drug/incapacitate him in some way and send him off to the highest bidder. Granted, this may still be a stretch. I'm not sure of the location of the story or the exact "vibe" in the house. Maybe it was just a sketchy party where he wasn't welcome and he was just going to be robbed? I love stories that are left without a conclusion. Those ones are the ones that keep me up at night thinking
I think it was a cult. Sounds like everyone was skeptical of the "outsider" and that's why they were staring at him and asking really weird and personal questions. I was honestly sitting there thinking that it would end with Pheobe having brought him as a sacrifice or something lol. The guy that told him really confuses me, because anyone that chose to come to a party like that obviously didn't have good intentions, so as to why he told him to leave, I have no idea. Maybe he just came to steal the food😭😭

Hey guys a few safety tips for things.
-if someone claims to know someone in your group/school ask them specifically who and how they met.
-go ask the person who they claim to know.
-do no leave with someone you just met. Bad idea.
If you are going to leave with someone you just met, see if you can bring two people with. If you cant, dont leave.
If you are going to leave, tell every single one of your friends who you are leaving with. Even shout “HEY GUYS IM LEAVING WITH ____” to the room of people.

Because everyone knew each other there. Phoebe was known for bringing outsiders and many of the regulars were getting tired of it. But because she has high status in the group, they couldn’t say much.

I graduated high school over 20 years ago, and never had the urge to go to a reunion. My years there weren't terrible, in fact, I had some real nice times there, but I was not sad when I graduated. I don't keep in contact with anyone I knew there anymore.
Same boat I'm in. Although I graduated in 2000 so covid was the excuse for no reunion. I was cool with it

@melissagrant4178 I was lucky to have one or two, with the exception of my girlfriend at the time. We broke up about a year after we graduated. Later, my former friends and I just didn't share the same interests, and we all went to live in different areas (though unfortunately, me and my wife had to move back to this area because of lack of employment where we were living), and we just stopped talking. No loss, though, as far as I am concerned.

The last story was great. It gave me "Hostel" "You're Next" etc kind of vibes. Phoebe was definitely connected in with everyone there. The party seemed normal but the stares is the key. It's like they were sizing him up. A cult makes sense too. I'd love some more info on this.

the last story was honestly bone chillin. this is exactly why we shouldn't trust anyone until we get to know them better through out time goes on. trust is one of the hardest things to earn, and it can end up horribly wrong if people don't take the time to get to know that person better. it was nice to watch this new video after a long and stress week of school :). keep making awesome content mr.nightmare.
That's one thing I'd never do, go to a HS reunion. There were alot of preppies, ugh. Great story telling as always. That last story was crazy, especially when the guy said get out.

Sitting at home sick this is exactly what I needed. Curled up in my recliner listening to the one and only Mr. Nightmare. I have my 20 year high school reunion in 4 years 2028 that really makes me feel old.

Like I legit need more of this. I avoided these scary stories at first because of jumpscares, but now I just watched almost every video because of the quality and how it is simply good! Though I will say I did not watch/rewatch the sleep paralysis ones, and that's because it really scares me, like being robbed is scary but at least you can try to do something about it. However, when it comes to sleep paralysis then no, you're forced to just live every moment of it and pray to God Almighty it ends quick... Anyways I wish you the best my friend Mr. Nightmare!

Had something similar to story 1 happen to me. It wasn't a high school reunion, but a reunion of other veterans from my boot camp division. The reunion was our division and our brother division, so about roughly 190ish sailors. I knew everyone in my division, but only a few from brother division.
Anyways, we all got wasted of course. I was too wasted to even figure out how to get uber to get me so another "sailor" offered me a ride home. However, as we left, one of my best friends from bootcamp stopped me and told me that guy was not part of our brother division.
The person at the third story really decided to stay for so long despite how obviously wrong the whole thing was and even had to be talked into leaving by someone else.
What do you think that party was, and what do you think the girl's intention was?

I just wanted to say that I've NEVER liked horror or scary stories/movies, until I started listening to all these Mr Nightmare videos!! His storytelling, pacing, voice, and the whole vibe of the audio is super relaxing and comforting, while being entertainingly spoopy. No crazy jumpscares or overly creepy music/sound effects, just pure storytelling vibes. I literally curl up with a heated blanket on my sofa and pass out while listening to these scary stories on autoplay like a sleep aid now. I've prob listened to 30-40 of these Mr Nightmare vids in the past few days LOL. Please keep making these for forever!!

These spooky stories have my nervous system on high alert which keeps me awake when I drive...and very aware of my surroundings.

2 days before my 10 year high school reunion, one of our classmates was arrested for smothering his own infant son with a pillow because he "didn't want him anymore." After he called the police and told them what he did, he left the door unlocked for the police and just kept playing World of Warcraft with his deceased infant beside him. When the police came to arrest him, he told them to wait until he killed "this one last boss." Then he shut his game off and walked over with his hands out so they could cuff him. The baby's mom at that point had been called and their apartment neighbor, who we had also gone to school with and was in attendance at the reunion, told us that she screamed and wailed for at least 2 straight hours.
This guy had always struck me as odd. He was the best friend of one of my high school boyfriends, and he was often accompanying that boyfriend to my house. I was always uncomfortable around him and he was one of the reasons that boyfriend and I broke up. I told him I'm sorry, I don't want your friend coming over. I don't know what it is but there's something really off about him. So he said fine if my friend isn't welcome here then I'm not welcome. I told him that was fine with me. This guy was a sociopath and narcissist even when we went to school together and it bewildered me that my then-boyfriend, who was his polar opposite, was his best friend. A lot of people were really wary around him and people whispered around the school that he would probably be the next mass shooter. He reminded us a lot of the Columbine HS shooters. He even would mumble that the people killed at Columbine "Probably deserved it."
He's in prison to this day. He got a life sentence, but with the possibility of parole after 30 years. He should have no parole. He really seemed like the type of guy who would harm or kill people for fun. I attended school before there were mass shootings, but Columbine had happened by then, and the fact that he was sympathetic to them had always spooked me. I truly think that the only reason he didn't harm anyone or shoot up our school was because he didn't have access to a gun. His neighbor, who was in attendance at the reunion, had mentioned that he had seemed "weirdly happy and had said he was eagerly anticipating" the 10 year reunion. Which makes it sound like maybe he was planning to do something.
1 and 3 were absolutely terrifying. So many questions about that last story. What was their community doing in that house?

Just hanging out with all the people I went to high school with sounds like horror to me. Being undiagnosed autistic back then, I was treated pretty terribly by nearly everyone because they all thought I was weird, rude, or antisocial. I had no idea how to fit in; everyone else seemed to know the rules of socializing in high school, but I felt like I was missing the instruction manual. I don’t have any desire to see those people again.

I liked all these high school reunion horror stories. I'm glad no one got hurt or kidnapped in any of these stories. People out there can be creeps. If people go to high school reunions, they should be careful. If my high school has a reunion, I want to go.

The first story is honestly in my opinion the friends fault for just ditching her and going off to do whatever. If you come as a group then you should all hangout as a group or atleast include other people in conversations.

The girl in the first story. Seriously? Never go in a stranger’s car, never give them your address, never drink whatever beverage they give you, never leave a party without telling your friends… How many red flags can you ignore?
If I wasn't already glad enough that I don't go to reunions, these stories make me know my decision is correct.
The last story reminds me of the kind of story that was told about the guy who meets his girlfriends parents and brother in another state and they seem to be planning some kind of ambush on him in the middle of the night. That story was fantastic. One of my favs. This was a good one too!

That third story reminded me of the video from years ago from the Christmas/winter horror stories where the BF woke up and heard the family talking about doing something to him- Mr nightmare never fails to disappoint this was such a nice throwback to that video from years ago ❤
