I love people reacting to the maggot scene. Pure disgust immediately turning into pure "awwwwww"
don't apologize for those tears. Anyone who watches this movie and doesn't cry either has lost their soul or was never born with one.
"Crying is for the weak" few minutes later😢❤😂
To be fair she never says shes a strong one. But yeah that's funny
"It's good music to do poop on." Bisscute channeling Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. The cross over we didn't know we needed!
😂 lol I can't wait but lol reaction spoilers 😋 (jk all good ofc)
lol
No one under the age of 30 got that reference.
@@tigerburn81for me to poop on🐶
@@seraph6758 People are weird if they read comments before watching the video.
Rita Hayworth was the female Hollywood sex symbol of the 1940s. Marilyn Monroe was the female Hollywood sex symbol of the 1950s. And Raquel Welch was the female Hollywood sex symbol of the 1960s.
One of the best films in history. A masterpiece.
The Shawshank Redemption is a classic. The works of Stephen King, and direction of Frank Darabont are movie magic. They also collaborated on The Mist, and The Greenmile.
IMHO it's more down to Darabont and co than King in this case given the amount of material to adapt from.
The Green Mile has more meat in it.
Glad this gem is back. The Shawshank Redemption is an absolute S-Tier movie and one of my favourites. Your emotional reaction was wonderful. :)
Thank you for the re watch
It's insane to think that this movie bombed at the box office. And then goes on to become known as one of the greatest movies ever made. 🤩
It bombed because the studio didn't think it was going do well because it was a long prison movie with no female characters and a weird name so they didn't spend much on the promoting it. Then it came out at the same time as Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction both of which git the big budget promotion. Shawshank slowly became a classic on 'word of mouth' recommendations alone.
@@nicholasmilne2908 While I appreciate it, it's something that I definitely knew already. I've watched the making of with this movie and several interviews where they talk about exactly what happened when it was released. It wasn't just that it was promoted little, it was also simply miss-promoted. The trailers and promotion posters didn't properly convey what the movie was about. Look, now I'm doing the same thing, and probably telling you something you knew already as well.
@@jeremybr2020oh well hopefully handy information for anyone else who might read this then. 👍
@@nicholasmilne2908 Very true.
Morgan Freeman said on a talk show that he believed the film bombed because the title wasn't memorable enough to be passed on by word of mouth.
You have a big heart Biss, which is partly what makes you a good reactor. The 3000 IQ doesn't hurt either.
Biss you judged Andy so quickly! 😂 You said “guilty” at the beginning with such certainty. 😂😂
To be fair that was what the movie wanted people to feel.
The powder they threw on the new inmates was to kill any lice they may have had
Back in 1946 that powder was DDT...
@@robertmaez6706 DDT as in the pesticide that killed a load birds? I thought it was lye but I wasn’t sure.
@@jackabalas The birds weren't killed by the DDT but their eggs had extremely thin shells so most failed to thrive. This was why Bald Eagles almost went extinct. They were spraying crops with DDT from planes. Not exactly a controlled use.
@@gamesman0118 delighted with that little titbit of information and thank you for the correction. 10/10 comment cheers
@@jackabalas Thanks and I still wouldn't use DDT. Besides the bugs are now mostly immune.
One of the top 10 best movies of all time in my book. I have no idea how this could lose Best Picture and Best Actor to Forrest Gump. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins gave two of the best performances ever. Amazing story of friendship and perseverance. The other great prison movie is Cool Hand Luke with Paul Newman.
imdb's greatest movies list has shawahank first place all time. while i agree that it is as great as almost any other film, i sure cant agree that it deserves first place, or even a top 10 spot. my own list would start with "silence of the lambs".
Definitely much better than Forrest Gump (a good but overrated film).
Sleepers is good too
@@ice-iu3vvLol..Shawshank is much better than Silence of the Lambs. I very much agree with Shawshank being #1.
@@jameshitt3263 Forrest Gump actually sucks. I fully agree with Andrew Tate's review for it.
This is a great movie. Your reaction to the warden had me laughing so hard!
Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, great story from Different Seasons also has a story called The Body made into a film "Stand by Me"
Still a babe
The fact that Biss called "the hole in the poster" twist of the movie right before it happened..😂...then the 5 head comment afterwards...🤣...
Thank you for bringing this one back. Your reaction was one of your best ever! 👍👍
Thank you for re watching it
Anything is better than all the other previous ones. Can't get any worse.
@@Artificialintelligentle .... If you don't like this channel, then don't come here. Grow up.
This is one of the best, most heartfelt reactions I've ever seen. Thankyou so much for reacting to this -- one of my favorite films. Literally a perfect film. So much respect to you for your genuineness and your insight on the film
Great editing and commentary.
One of the best I have seen.
I kept looking at the time and was constantly surprised how efficient you were.
It must be that 3000 IQ 😊
‘He even packed his bag’. That’s a good spot. I’ve seen this film many times and I’ve seen him packing the case but you saying that was the first time I gave it thought.
For Biss he is so sweet that even didn't bother the person who finds him there.
@@Kankodom that’s exactly it. Wanted to cause the least amount of fuss for anyone else.
this has got to be one of the most honest reactions i have ever seen. thank you Miss Bisscute
Thank you, Madalina for your sweet genuine reaction to this masterpiece of a movie.
You are such a genuine pure Person! I love every of your reactions!
Love how you have no mercy for villains, my kind of person
She had plenty of mercy for murders of women and children.
huh?@@ToxicGamer86454
@@BissFlix
What Brooks and Red did is so horrendous that the TH-cam censors won’t even let me type it. You bawled for their suffering. Suffering they deserved and worse
@@ToxicGamer86454 They are all innocent, didn't you watch the movie
@@fpod8498
😂 right! I’ve been to prison twice and we were all innocent too.
One of the top rated movies of all time for a reason. Thank you for helping us watch it for the first time again.
I saw that movie 25 years ago for my accounting class, and it became a great lesson for life 🙂 such a great movie, nice to see you react to it 🤗
Been waiting for your reaction to this. Really enjoyed it thank you Bisscute!
The trick with the dirt was also shown in the movie 'The Great Escape' about an escape from a German POW camp.
Hi Biss,
IMO this is one of the best movies. as you said a rollercoaster with a suspenseful and the joyful end! thanks for reacting, always fn to watch a movie with you!
That was one of your best reaction, I'm happy you were able to re-upload it 🙂
Thank you for re watching it
What a wonderful reaction to my favorite movie!
Thank you for reacting and sharing! Made my day!
I'll watch this movie with you Biss anytime! Thanks for re-up loading this classic! Your reaction is why i keep coming back! Thanks for sharing and luv ya Biss ❤️💛
That was great Biss, I cried along with you.
Loved your reaction Biss as always 😊
yeees BissFlix, great to see you react this movie! I waiting on it... Everytime good to see your reaction. Thanks a lot!
26:33 "I bet you there is a freaking hole behind the _poster."_
Ah. Very good, Biss. A _fine_ feat of reasoning.
I love your reactions. you did a great job. I enjoyed that so very much.
This is one of those movies that once you start watching it, you watch the whole thing.
I've seen this movie over a dozen times and every time we get to the Brooks scene, my eyes get misty.
I just want to say thank you. I have seen this movie so many times over the years...but your reaction reminded my how good it is with your visible joy and anguish. I found myself openly laughing - and crying - at parts I have seen 20 times before....all because your reaction was so honest and real. Thank you
I've been waiting for you to react to this and it did not disappoint. You are my favorite TH-cam reactor.
Thank you so much
Beautiful reaction 💕
I appreciate you, Biss
27:30 haha you nailed it about everything that was about to happen 😂
28:45 "Nobody heard that?"
He hit the pipe each time the lightning flashed so the thunder would mask the noise.
Ahh thanks
This movie is a masterpiece. Great reaction!
Definitely an all-time favorite of mine, so glad you liked it. Stephen King definitely has more than horror!
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
One of the best movies off all time in my opinion. Roller coaster of emotions watching this. Thank you for your reaction
Wot say ther fuzzy britches
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. One of the best films ever made, and still stands up even today 😀
It's a wonderful story, isn't it? This is a special one. Thanks for sharing it, Bisscute. 🙂
I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of Bisscute. She has no mercy 🤘🤘

that 35000 is about 800000 today. Andy left with 2,556,216. nice parting gift
"To have a picnic in tree". I had to subscribe then and there! 😂
This movie is the best. Great reaction! Happy I got to see it 👍
Top notch actors and a great Stephen King story it’s a great movie.
The movie was shot in Ohio State Reformatory a real life historical prison build from 1886 to 1910. That why it looks like a castle. Sadly they dont build building like they used to. Its in Mansfield, Ohio and you can visit it.
Happy Valentine's day +2, I love you and your reactions
Re-thumbs-up. 👍
Wonderful reaction.
Biss you made me cry to when you broke down about Brooks
Big hug for you!!! So glad you enjoyed the movie! Sorry your subscribers keep making you cry lol.
Thanks for the nice reaction. Keep smiling...and happy Valentines day to you🙂👍🇨🇦
Happy V day to you too
This prison is located in my hometown, Mansfield Ohio. It is absolutely beautiful on the outside and spooky as hell on the inside. They use it as a haunted house now. Have some rock concerts there as well.
Interesting
one of my all-time favorite movies :) going to watch it again
Your pronunciations are always puuurfect. 🎉
10:09 _That's_ Rita Heyworth. Born in 1918, she would be about _30,_ here.
That was a great film. Your reactions to it...smart. And those happy tears...precious. Love you Biss. See ya next time. Big shoutout from your guy in the mountains of East Tennessee. U.S.A. Peace. Later.
They did the same trick to get rid of the dirt in "The Great Escape".
one of my favorite movies if not top 2 of all time.
I just love your heart. There are just too few like you.
I appreciate you biscute 😊
Thank you
Your best reaction ever, to the best film ever :)
TY 🙏
One of the best movie of all time 🎉
" put something in HIS mouth! " 😅 OMG savaaaaageee Biss!!
One of the best movies and one of the best reactions i saw for long time.
My ❤favorite❤ streamer reacting to one of my all-time favorite movies.... I am so very happy. Its always a good day when i see this smile and hear those rrrrrrrrrrrrs but this one is a keeper day. Here goes😊😊😊
Wow....it was everything i expected and more... I do so love seeing the vulnerable Biss as well as the angry and happy Biss. This is a movie you can watch 1000 times, and yet when its over you want to hit replay. You guessing the places the plot was going to go was like you said..."3000 IQ". That is what makes you head and shoulders above most women, you're not just another pretty face...even those forehead wrinkles are special...😊 but you are so smart and astute. Im glad you enjoyed this Biss and it hurt watching you cry for Brooks, but i hope you think it was worth it. Till next time Biss.....stay healthy, stay safe, and stay you..❤❤❤❤❤
A lot of your reactions were hilarious. It is a great movie.
One of the best movies ever made.
Great movie. Great reaction. : )
You are always so funny when a movie makes you wait to find out something.
"What is fishing???"
"What are they betting on???"
"What's under the damn rock??????"
All a movie has to do to make you lose your mind is create a mystery then make you wait a few minutes to find out the answer.
Sometimes, it's my favorite part of your reactions.
Classic movie and a great one. Got it on DVD and watched it several times. Some movies from the books of Stephen King are great, some not so. But this is one of the best ones next to The Green Mile, Christine, Carrie, The Mist and The Shining. Maybe i missed some one but this are the ones i've got on DVD. Thank you for your reaction.
Shawshank Redemption is my number 1 favorite movie of all time. When Fat Ass got his ass kicked by the captain, it's one of my favorite parts of the movie.
One of the greatest movies ever made. If this doesn't cause you to question everything you've ever judged then you are not human.
I've watched a couple other reactions to this movie, and usually the reaction to the trial at the beginning is something like "wait, did he do it?" or "I don't think he did it". I love that this reaction was basically "GUILTY AS HELL! STRING 'IM UP!".
16:13 HE even packed his bag..................... FCKKKKKKKKKKK tears :(((
Bravo!
Fish . Freshly caught but no release. Thrown into a new tank (confinement). Guess what fried fish would be😊
proves again how much of a genius Stephen King truly is (the director Frank Darabont is pretty incredible also)
The "fresh fish" is actually used as a moniker in other areas as well. To this day. Basically "a fish out of water" so a person outside their regular habitat.
Also this is my fav movie of all time lol :s Glad you are watching it!!
Master piece
Right?
Ive seen this movie more times than I can count, and I never get tired of it. I dont know how to understand someone who doesnt like this
Those courtroom scenes were filmed in my county courtroom, and we had a reunion sort of thing with one year the prison warden actor as guest. The prison scenes at an old prison nearby too.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the extra support, it’s much appreciated, sorry for the late reply
Rita Hayworth was a huge actress in her time, she is the “Hair Flip” woman in the movie Red was watching
Oh I see
Happy endings are rightly ridiculed sometimes. But when they are earned.. it's beautiful.
The subtitle from the book is "Hope Springs Eternal."
Beautiful reaction from a beautiful woman as always
