That bridge is the Ponte de Linhares. When it was built by Dom Miguel de Noronha (Conde de Linhares) in the early 1600s, it held the title of the longest bridge in Asia. Today its referred to as the Ribandar Causeway and I'm sure you must've traveled on it numerous times 😁

Did Goan people follow sanatam dharma, were they Hindus originally before the Portuguese came? I have family in/from Goa and am trying to find out what they believed/followed before converting to RC.
