@@harperdunn9692 I really like honda and yamaha right now I own a 2019 raptor 700r special edition, 2006 yfz450 special edition, 1996 trx300ex, 1987 j arm banshee and i would have to say the yamaha banshee is faster in top end and rides way better than the 250r but the 250r has a bigger single cylinder so I think it has more torque right off idle than the banshee in stock form so it is a decent trail quad to be honest I wouldn't want to take the 250r on a track the way they ride in my opinion
the 250r is good on the track but no where near the banshee will rip ass on gravel sand snow dirt etc anywhere but the track. banshees weren't designed for the track they overheat on the track not enough airflow and not enough speed.
its so close every time , i myself love Honda and belieave the 1986 250R atc is the baddest ever including the 86 to 89 250R quad just bad ass. the Banshee is 350cc against a 250cc and the 250cc stays with or beats the 350cc now thats bad ass . The Banshee is cool but Honda will always be the best ever
Jesse Snyder I learned it and have the same assessment. They both have their pros and cons depending on modifications however from crate to dirt match up, I'll stick with my single piston engine.
I never understood recoding a drag race at the starting line! If the guy on the R knew how to seed shift, he'd kill that Banshee in a short race. 250Rs are Jack's of all trades. They do just about anything well with much less rider fatigue. While the Banshee is more for hillclimb, drag, and wide open riding.
The dude on the R cant ride.Ive got an 86 atc250r stock length swingarm,its got an esr310,esr pipe,v-force reeds,39mmPwk on c12 that poops on Banshees all day,Ive lost to drag race banshees with drag pipes,no suspension,skinny tires,prolly on alcohol.but i feel as if iam supposed to.Ive seen many times a stock machine with someone who can ride beat quads with all types of work but the rider was shit and get smoked.not sure my point just felt like talking 💩

The Honda has the advantage in this scenario and looks to have edged it out just imagine if the rider knew how to ride.....
