@@theapexdragon5010 that is true, however, the issue is that they rush the games for a release. It would vastly improve the experience if they’d just give time for the game to be finished, iron out the bugs, and then allocated resources for new features and modes. I can understand forge coming out later, it’s always a mess to find every item interaction, but they also choose to rush that. I wouldn’t care if a game is delayed if that would help improve its quality.
@@theshamanofguns4391 they have always rushed developers, I think the problem is lack of experience, phones, and the devs not being able to suggest ideas without scrutiny.
Not that I care to do this, I’m confused on how this even managed to happen.
They probably tried implementing co-op and the game/engine broke was extremely unoptimized, so they cancelled it for release and will now work on making it work for the next few months.
There’s dialogue near the end of the video that says, “We can’t go anywhere while that stasis beam is active!”, while the player literally can’t move.

I tried this glitch before months ago (after many moments and attempts) with my brother. It was fun and my game never crashed once when someone died or fast traveling. We also got sidetracked and kept killing each other. (Im not sure it didn’t crashed because I’m lucky or my Xbox is just great at handling these things)

Someone clearly didn't watch the whole video. Did you miss the part where it bricks your save, crashes upon death, is missing HUD for the second player, and also crashes upon fast travel?
I'll give 343 shit for things they deserve all day long, but Coop was unfinished and they weren't willing to delay again or release it in an awful buggy state, and that is very much the right call.
If you think it's so "easily implementatable", then get your ass up and fix those game breaking bugs that they're already working on. Bet you won't.
I'm just hoping that since you can't have 2 cheif 343 will just put some additional co-op campaign which you play as your own Spartan

@@Titaniumjake1472 I'm sorry if you just had a rough time playing the campaign because you got your ass gaped by the bosses? Legendary is legendary, and the bosses are meant to be hard anyways. The game *is* open world.. not supposedly. And the campaign was fantastic, not lazy. Sure it's not a test of skill, but if you dislike the game that much to never play the campaign again, that's your problem

The campaign is f#cking garbage .... supposed open world , garbage mini bosses and overpowered actual bosses like way overpowered having just finished it on legendary i can safely say i will never play it on that setting again debatably any setting . not due to lack of skill i love halo but this is not a test of skill its lazy game creation and it is not halo

I played it on legendary too and they were times where I got irritated from dying but I worked thru it and didn't blame my deaths on the developers saying their game is garbage. The open world is good and the the game looks beautiful. I loved it. They made a game that was hard and challenging and actually made me work hard to finish and it did test my skills. Which is what I like in a game. This game on legendary does test your skills. Your just being arrogant.

Jake's criticism isn't 100% misplaced, the boss fights aren't balanced difficulty-wise, especially the first one (where you lack armor abilities or powerful weapons).
My first playthrough on Heroic started pretty usual, I died only once during the first 2 levels, in a control room full of brutes (I got flanked by the leader with the granade launcher). Yet during the first boss fight I died 12 times before I beat the boss. The reason for it being that right after the cutscene the boss was 5 m away, performing a jump attack at me with a big shockwave and I had the difficulty avoiding damage, while Skewer was only doing like 2/3 of his shield.
During my second playthrough the boss ended up being further away after the cutscene and I beat him on my first try. I think it wasn't properly tested in that regard, but the boss battle game design is rather poor- during first 2 story bosses (I didn't played further than that so far) they take away control from the player in order to play a cutscene and then they place the boss a few meters away. This is not a proper design for boss battles. See Dark Souls for comparison- every boss battle, cutscene or not, places the player far away from the boss, so the player can take a quick look at the area, see if the boss attacks are mainly ranged or close combat and prepare to read boss attacks.
There was one infamously poorly made "boss" fight in Halo 1 where you meet a sword wielding elite in a corridor leading outside one structure, where you are basically expected to run backwards while shooting. While memorable it's very poorly implemented and I gave it shit in the early 2000s. Too bad Infinite has similar issues.

Other than that I agree. I voiced my opinion to Eck on Twitter about the difficulty spikes being very unreasonable and 343 defenders (mostly children from the way they typed) went as far as digging my tweets from the past to "prove" I'm some kind of an idiot. Garbage level argumentation.
Halo Infinite isn't a great game. At times calling it a good game seems a bit of a stretch. It deserves to be called above average or 'ok game'. It's the best Halo we got since Reach. But there are many problems with it. Hopefully 343 doesn't go CDPR on us and actually fixes the issues.
