Welcome to Mitch-Builds, I’m Mitch and I build custom LEGO creations!
With the newly released LEGO Dungeons and Dragons set hitting store shelves, but being way outside my price range, I’ve been inspired to instead take on building a custom D&D character of my own. So today let's build a Brooding dragon-born ranger and even a fearsome wolf sidekick.

I’m absolutely floored by your use of neck brackets on Sir Fangar’s jaw. That’s sensational moccing right there
Cheers! Stresses the jaw part a little bit but works pretty well!
@@MitchBuilds no stress no fun
Thats vicius moccery
@@MitchBuilds what is a good moc if not a little stressed?
@@MitchBuilds what does the term “pre-fab” mean? I’m asking so I don’t assume it means something that it doesn’t
How this guy knows the exact pieces to fit something together perfectly is beyond mortal comprehension
He probably tries a bunch of different things to see what works, then only shows the final one in the video
Yeah lots of behind the scenes iteration
@@Just_A_Rock__ definitely but the fact he has all the pieces and patience is mind boggling
I do a lot of the same stuff except I use mostly mixel joints and have almost no good peices or the money to get them
master builder, he can put pieces together in his mind
make the wolf have a mouth openable so you can put the sword in it
Missed opportunity 😭
How Dark souls of you
Hell yeah
The idea seems a little bit familiar
STANDING HERE I REALIZE-
When I see the thumbnail I think it’s a super dope build, but going through the process of seeing it built makes the final reveal breathtaking even though I’ve already seen it 😭
Thanks :)
This has quickly become one of my favourite youtubers. I love how calm he talks while he cooks up the insanest builds ever
Wow thank you!! Thanks for tuning in
that dog head looks absolutley insane genius use of parts
Thank you!!!
Thank you for stopping dropping your mocs at the end of your videos. Thanks to this, my mental health has stabilized
Bro roasted Garmadon with the name "this villan"
Also, not to forget, bro roasted the red pin again
Ahhh that’s his name!
@MitchBuilds bro forgot the name of the main villan of ninjago
Man only knows the names of the parts not the characters 😂😂😂😂
"I'm the best Lego maker!"
"I was HIRED by Lego, I'm the best!"
Mitchbuilds: *"Hold my ball joints."*
yeah but he uses too many illegal building techniques
@@MrTopHatVR69True but Holy crap it is worth it!
hold my balls
@@sebastianthulstrupjensen3433 its cool but then you might want to dismantle it soon because the pieces will break over time
HOLD MY BALLS.
The bow is NASTY good. Like, nat 20 good.
Yeah I got a lucky roll with that one 😂
Every build gets better than the ones before and even those were absolutely stunning
Thanks :)
Bro has a historic knowledge of Lego's catalogue.
The most impressive thing about these videos is how you imagine two pieces together and find some unconventional way to connect them, most people would just use some prefab piece instead or give up after a couple attempts
Every builder really does have something special to them
Absolutely. That always inspires me when I build mocs.
In the campaign I’m running, my friend is playing a Dragonborn named Bustler Chuck (I had to talk him outta using Chuck Norris), but he would think this is so badass. Bustler approved
Thankful for the Bustler approval 🙏
I love the progression from "here's LEGO's, and here's mine." to OCs. It truly showcases the creative potential of LEGOs.
Your integration of bricks, technic and Bionicle is wonderful.
That is just insane. The part knowledge and iterations it must have taken. Plus having all those different parts available. Absolutely amazing.
Friendly reminder: If an illegal connection is any connection that puts strain on a part, then that means any use of a reddish brown LEGO part is illegal.
2007 lime connectors. My personal pain. 2 Ehlek bionicle sets. All connectors have broken in a week.
The fact that you made sure everything was as properly connected as possible, and that you filled in gaps in the body and hollow limb parts was so satisfying to me that you more than earned a sub!
Incredible and creative build too!
Oh I’m gobsmacked I’ve never thought of doing wrist joints like that!
That solves so many problems! Thanks for that.
Also, would love to see you build a full D&D PARTY ROSTER like this! It’ll be amazing.
I know they're meant to be fur, but the wings on the wolf (mainly the ones on the face) make me think it's like an owlbear but "owlwolf", and it makes him even cooler for me.
Btw very nice building, this is amazing
you have no idea of how much it makes me laugh the way you describe the building proces, it cheers up my day
Ive been tremendously enjoying your videos. I was surprised when I saw how few you had vs your production value. It just feels like you've been doing it forever. My favorite part of any video you do has to be the audio of the pieces clicking and snapping together. It feels nearly as satisfying watching/hearing, as it would be building it myself. I used to own quite a bit of Bionicle and other constraction parts though I sold them not too long ago, and these videos have been really good at scratching the itch of wanting to build Bionicle stuff. seriously the ASMR level audio of the piece connections you are able to get is genius.
Amazing moc(s)! I was thinking “where’s the bunt hot dog going to be?” Right when you used it the first time, perfect timing.
Ahaha love it
@@MitchBuilds :)
You always seem to take any random Lego head or part and make something amazing out of it. 👍
Thank you!!
Winter is coming.
I've been watching your videos from the start, and WOW, you are the best Technic/Binocle and Lego soccer player I've seen on here. This channel will definitely continue to grow, and I can't wait to see your next build. Keep up the good work, brother.
Cheers, thanks so much!!
I have no words for how perfect your build are...
the hilt design is both perfect, and something i would have never even thought of. amazing!
Watching you build that wolf was an emotional rollercoaster
love how you used han solos shoulders as a chest… so creative!
This is absolutely insane. I can't even begin to imagine the number of hours it must have taken to figure this all out and make such an amazingly impressive dragonborn
Absolutely incredible!! The shaping of the dragonborn features ends up looking so naturalistic, the jaw/head combo is inspired too!
The moment he said he was done a piece fell off in the background. Brilliant lol!
I am amazed by your lego skills.
damn man early but also 400 hundred dollars for that is fucking absurd nice build man
Cheers! Yeah crazy how expensive that is
I actually need this
I love the wolf build
That scabbard rocks.
You know it’s a gonna be a good day when Mitch uploads
Guy, *this it a top tier build!!!!!* I love the dragon's samurai inspired build. The sword and bow are *PERFECT!!!!!!*
it's just so peak!
Man, you are a freaking artist, plain and simple. I am not even interested in bricks in general, but your videos are always something I really look forward to.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate you
Wow… the way he uses all of these different and unique pieces and fits them together so perfectly is ingenious. I WISH I was that smart and creative!
Im so glad I found your channel, your mocs always hit hard!!!
absolutly fabulous as always
6:33 He said rltge Thing!
Awesome building techniques used here. True craftsmanship!
Mitch highlyyyy, deserves the master builder title :')
7:21 Making the bow is my favorite part. Zipline used for the string. Life like bow ❤
Funny thing if you inverted the scabbard on the sword it would actually be shaped like a real ornamental one.
I will say this; your models look delicate and posing them is difficult, but damn if they are not THE most GORGEOUS I've seen.
Its stunning how creative you are with the design and how you use the parts.
Pretty bronze dragonborn ranger very well made
did you know that the specific kimono style mitch is using is called "katahada", and japanese samurais would use to keep their sword arm free?
It's always a good day when you post Mitch. I may be feeling kind of shitty, but at least I can enjoy a cool Lego build 😊
I love how you finish assembling the guy, and one of his pecs just falls off XD
I get the feeling that tends to happen a lot due to how everything is connected
This is perfection
This is genuinely one of the cooler things I've seen done on TH-cam
As a kid, I remember the ball joints being worth their weight in gold, because I only got them in the rare occasion I got a Titan set. I think my first was the great Makuta himself.
This is genuinely one of the coolest moc's ive seen on the internet so far
Looks like a Tyler ngl. Epic build
I love your builds so much and seeing the way you use the pieces is amazing keep doing what you love
I love and adore what you do and what you can do.
Could I suggest a future project I'm desperate to see realized in Lego form?
Basically a Mecha Gamera that can actually transform from a turtle form into a flying turtle with jets.
Would be cool to see some extra bits like the scutes on the shell lifting up and revealing canons or other kinds of weapons like Blastoise or just having extra jets there like pop up headlights but turned the other way around.
Mecha Godzilla gets all the fun but I think Mecha Gamera or some sort or a giant turtle megazord of your own imagination would be super super cool to see as well.
I'm excited to see what your next project's going to be, no matter what it is.
Keep being awesome!
Been looking for this exact type of DnD x LEGO content.. absolute heat🔥🔥🔥
FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO ENJOYS RANGERS!
You sir are a technic genius
Absolutely insane usage of parts. I wonder if you ever see a new piece and think "that would be perfect for 8 completely different features".
not gonna lie, that wolf gave me horse vibes, especially with those tiny feet
The amount of detail is truly stunning, every one of your videos and builds get better each time❤
Thanks for watching!!
So gorgeous I think you should try incorporating the wings too somehow
I love it when mitch uploads
I will say right now, you could probably use the head you made for a LEGO Tyrantrum and I love it.
You’re so talented at MOC building, or building in general, keep up this awesome content. Thank you for making these videos.
Your building techniques are amazing! This video was so fun to watch just to see what amazing techniques you would use next! A very talented builder right here ❤
This has got to be one of the greatest Lego builds I've ever seen! Both the design and techniques used are amazing and the character idea is also so cool! I love D&D and this portrais it perfectly!
The build looks so cool!
never stop building, mitch
I love dragon born characters. I built something like this a while back using one of the ninjago dragon heads. Your video is inspiring me to return to it and make it even better.
The amount of creativity in this moc is unmatched, great work👍
I’m shocked how good this turned out, absolutely amazing work❤
You are insane, absolutely love your builds. I need to get a copy of this one 🔥🔥🔥
I Fallout Power Armor build would be really dope to see, your are amazing. You use methods casually that I didn’t even were possible with random Lego parts. You’re a genius sir
Love seeing your builds, incredible use of parts!
The sword hilt usage was so cool
i can't believe that he did it all with lego
Love your build!
The head makes me think Tyrantrum Freon Pokemon
Glad to see you're among the correct people who disregard the PHB when it says Dragonborn don't have tails.
0:35 i paused the vid thinking that was a battle beast head from invincible. Turns out it was from chima
that jaw mechanics was genius
nice build .i find it funny how u made the ranger as sturdy as posible .and the wolf is just held together with clips and hope
This build goes so hard! Loved everything about it. ❤❤❤
I'm starting to think that you have every single piece Lego ever released
That is super cool I love it
Stunning work!!
Mitch: **Can build awesome things with lego**
Me: **made a lego brick with long arms and legs made out of clay**
This is amazing!
Wow that leg and feet design is really clever
Why does this lego character reminde me one of Dead soud's character in the winter weather episode.
The character : Helionyx and his pet sabertooth.
How do you do the research for these builds? Do you just remember all these pieces?……the Zelda builds are insane! 🔥 I am so inspired by this creativity! Thank you for the content! 💙
The bow is my favorite item of the build 🔥
I love your channel, awesome build as usual
I feel like it would be a pain to both put together and take apart
