To help casters in pve, make demonic pact for warlocks enhance casters more in ST that way they won’t have to make a lot of changes to pvp and still give love to locks in raids.
With how rare worlds are to find, especially locks with demonic pact, it wont matter. Just make bosses take more magic dmg or something. Or add more armor to the bosses like in P2. P2 was balanced cus of the armor the bosses had.
Overall great changes. Gale winds needs to be stronger, and boomie pve dps is low, but still welcomed changes. I am on the P4 Starfall hype train - that is the big aoe we need.

Ofc classes should be on somewhat even playing grounds but battlerez, innervate and other utility spells can save from wipes and make a bossfight even possible to handle. So far we have very few bosses with enrage mechanics and therefore I think it is ok to have not all classes be equally strong. Remember Hunter can only do DPS role, they need to be top tier in that regard or they won't get any raid spots. In the average casual guild you realy do not minmax that much and still the raids are doable. One thing I don't see brought up a lot when talking caster dps is that if you do not have 3 warlock and if people do not coordinate e.g. fire lock need fire mage to have its full potential and same with shadow priest fort their shadow specs. Also mages benefit from stacking the same spec while meeles can just go for whatever they want as long as all -armor debuffs are up.
What do you think about adding on to the Elunes Fire's rune: Starfire increases the damage and crit chance of starsuge by 5% for 10sec stacking 5x This way it barely effects pvp, but in longer duration fights, we get more natures grace procs, starsurge feels good again, and our ST goes up. Thoughts? Good vid by the way!

My worry’s with stacking buffs, is I’m always trying to have it stacked before the boss is pulled, and if it’s not pre stacked, and the fight is short, it isn’t as valuable. And phase transitions if it fell off after just stacking up, might feel bad too.
You do know that Starfire gives your next two wraths 30% increased critical chance? And starsurge says it benefits from all effects that effect wrath...so you get the 30% crit chance after Starfire to your next starsurge too... therefore you use starsurge then wrath not 2x wraths.
The talents still increase its effect, so both Motw and Gotw get buffed by it. So you still preferably want one druid (typically the resto) to put points there

I thought about you today - I wanna make a farming char for Cataclysm Classic.. I'm not sure if i should pick Mage or Druid - I enjoy playing both classes. How is balance druid for farming in cata? big aoe pulls etc :D (sorry a bit off topic)
@@qorda1337 AoE hasn't hit for me yet as Boomie at 85, Feels kinda meh. Maybe with more Mushroom practice I can get better, but Starfall not doing Splash damage feels bad!
pvp is kinda dead though. I go bgs and i find the same premades all the time...with the exception of 5-6 hours PEAK PEAK time. And in the open world noone hits someone unless if they outnumber them by at least 3 to 1. So it's really just duels at this point... they did bgs dirty this phase.. and ranking was pre-farmed from phase 2. Hopefully they will make them relevant in P4. And don't think that u will notice the 10% dmg in a dot priest that much. If void plague was dealing 300 dmg per tick, now it will deal 330. Is it a buff? Yes... but don't expect to see like.. a difference that will change something. At this point bliz should just start thinking about lvl 60..
@@Levelitythis is the dumbest comment in the thread. 3k + instant cast starfires? 1) starfire has a long cast time 2) it’s never hit 3k plus in SoD 3) mind blast and SW:D don’t hit insanely hard either. For a moment in SoD, SW:D sometimes crit high numbers. They nerfed that immediately. Now most SW:D’s top out around 680ish at lvl 50. And they still do self-damage to the caster if it’s not the killing blow. 10% added to this is nothing, especially compared to other classes like hunters critting other players for 1272 with a single arrow at lvl 50, mages arcane blasting people for 2200+ (at LEVEL 50 WTF), and other insidious examples of how the SoD player power creep (more like power sprint) has negatively affected the pvp experience. They should make all dm do half as much in pvp. This would lead to more fun fights where strategy, tactics, timing matter instead of the 1-2 global and you’re dead burst meta (with no equivalent buffing to dm mitigation) we are in now.

The issue is staff from phase one: 26 SP, staff from last boss in p3: 19 SP

The buff tooltip is not updated when talents are placed. But if you compare the actual stats you gain in your stat sheet, you will see the difference.

id much rather stay on the bottom in PVE and pump big numbers and be a beast in pvp.. The parse cult is not enjoyable to me
I’ve been enjoying pvp more than pve in SoD myself, so I agree. As long as there’s not a lot of bis pvp gear from raid!
So they literally forced the meta to be even more Shadow Priest/Boomkin oriented in PVP. God they really don't think these things through.
