Another thing I want to say. As a polish boy, I cant confirm or deny that "Kingdom of P" is Poland, but everything says so. They using polish surnames like Mazur, Kochański or Potocki, but they don't use polish characters, main character name is Rafal (it should be written as "Rafał" as You can hear in anime, letter "Ł/ł" is read as english "w"). BTW at 14:30 text on Rafałs book is "Katalog Gwiazd" what litteraly means catalog of stars. In future reactions I'll gonna try translate things that are in polish in anime per se if they aren't translated in captions
I'm very very glad you react this show! I'm Japanese, already have read the manga, and I'm pritty sure this is one of the masterpieces I've ever experienced and this anime is such a great adaptation! I'll avoid spoilers, but predict quite a few lines and stories will imppress you a lot.
As another commenter said, it's obvious that Kingdom of P is Poland. It makes sense that the setting is Poland especially when the person who popularized heliocentrism in the 16th century was Copernicus, he was Polish.
Absolutely, though should definitely note this is semi-historical fiction and not accurate to actual history, hence the Kingdom of 'P' rather than just straight up Poland. I'm so excited to see how people find the rest of the series!
his contribution to physics alone is crazy, from fluids to rotating bodies, there's always one or two equations named after him. It's said that a lot of his findings aren't named after him to avoid confusion and are instead named after the people who found the connection of that equation back to Euler

I appreciate the information!
"Nails grow back, you know. " Is litteraly scarest line, I ever heard.
Meanwhile, I just feel grateful despite the context. Can say that not having a nail hurts a lot and any slight grazing sends so many pain signals.

Unrelated but Leonard Euler is my favourite mathematician of all time. Man is math himself. Any particular field I am studying, his name pops out
YES I 100% agree! I just saw the most recent Veritasium video and it's so insane seeing how he shows up everywhere!
