@@filiposki301 its a weekly manga, most the author's manga are very short. Hyakuemu another manga from him getting an anime movie next year about track and field has 40+ chapters, while his new comedy manga ended this year February with 32 chapters.
Probably better if you just listen to your history teacher though. This anime is a banger but nowhere near accurate. There are no records of people being burned at stake in Poland for heliocentrism
There are so few people reacting this show and it needs more attention. I watched the first 2 episodes and started reading the manga. I finished it in 2 nights and the it's truly inspiring. I couldn't sleep after I finish reading it because my blood was boiling. I gained a new perspective and appreciation towards everything around me, the inspiration that moved the character in the story has now moved me, and a lot of other people. Words are miracles.
This anime is an underrated gem. It sucks that it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's rare to see anime do something different nowadays and it gives me a huge Vinland Saga Season 2 vibes. Re:zero is still #1 anime of this season for me, but I never expected anything else to beat Dandandan.

It's not underrated, but underexposed. The manga got awards and was nominated a lot, has two related songs by Amazarashi, and got two popular singers and bands for the opening and ending songs. If you see the influx of Japanese comments, it is definitely popular there but hasn't gained equal traction overseas.

This episode was so moving 😢, I liked Novak's reaction when he thought he was poisoned. He's been callous about others' deaths and a mercenary, but when faced with his own, he was terrified.

しかし追い詰められてある種開き直ったラファウには表裏がありません。
命のやり取りをして〝生き残ってきた〟ノヴァクだからこそ、これは効いたでしょうね。
嘘をついてその場を凌ぐ人間を嫌というほど見てきた。なのにこの子供はその場を凌ぐどころか、毒を煽ってみせた。
「死ぬのだから、今更嘘をついても意味がない。つまり裏表がない」
ノヴァクも合理的な人間ですからそう考えたはずです。
だからこそ、怖いんです。
散々人々の嘘を見抜き、相手を出し抜いて、異端審問官としての職務を果たしてきた。その技術がラファウという少年には一切通用しない。通用する技を持っていない。
信仰は合理的ではないかもしれませんが、だからこそ心に響くものがあるのです。
地動説というアイデアに殉じる程の信仰心を有していたラファウが、最後の最後でノヴァクを上回った。
逆に言えば、ラファウが裁判で嘘をついていた場合、彼は将来的に負ける可能性があった。
彼は言葉に重みはないと主張していたから、嘘をつくことは十分考えられた。今までもそうしてきたのに、なぜ嘘をつかなかったのか。
フベルトがひたすら真摯に地動説へ向き合う研究姿勢にラファウは感動したからです。
「不完全なアイデアは消え去るべき。だから顔も名前も知らないあなたに燃やしてほしい」
嘘をつかなかった。虚勢も張らなかった。
フベルトは、こと研究において嘘をつかなかった。
その姿勢に、ラファウは感動したんです。
