I've heard quite a few people express dissatisfaction in the ND mini palettes. You would think a company who charges as much as they do would make sure their minis would be great to pull more customers into the full sized palettes.
I've heard just as many complain about the big palettes as her minis. The $50 6 pan or larger. A lot of people returned the Lila palette even. Btw could give a sh $t what Tati thinks. She's a con artist and incredibly dishonest social climber. Lol
Yep Tati had a problem where the shadows were falling out of the packaging on the minis and disliked the formula as well but she loves and swears by the original palettes
I wrote a bad review of the mini sunset palette on Sephora site. I was literally the second review written. It disappeared after 24h. I rewrote the review and 🤭 it disappeared again. Does Sephora remove bad reviews? Or it is just that they don’t like MY bad reviews? I’m sure it’s just company-wide dislike of me (because I’m just that important as to have caught their attention). 😠
Lucky Mama hmm that's odd. Usually sephora leaves bad/negative reviews. I have, however, seen smaller brands/companies or indie brands remove bad reviews. But its very possible that they did. That's awful.

A lot off people likes the ND mini shadows and a lot doesn't.. Feels like it might be inconsistency's in the palettes. Because I saw when you tried it and it didn't blend nice and was very patchy :( You're doing the right thing returning it.

I knew the Lila palette was going to be bad because the mini sunset got bad reviews. Her tropic palette got bad reviews too from the people I watch. Sephora deletes negative reviews, at least they were doing that with the Huda Rose Gold Remastered.
Celeste Celestial I personally loved the Tropic Palette and many people I watch loved it too! It’s my favourite palette of all time! So easy to blend and the Metallics are bomb :)
I’m glad you enjoy it. Everyone has different preferences in formulas so good thing that the palette meets your expectations. I know of one person who likes it too, Michelle from Michelle’s Everyday Glamour gave it a good review. 🙂

The mini Lila palette was my first Natasha Denona palette and I'm super disappointed in it as well. Based in the price of her palettes and this experience, I won't be purchasing any more Natasha Denona items. I enjoy these videos especially since we have a similar skin tone, skin type and tastes. It makes you the most valuable TH-camr to me!

It really stinks that these mini palettes aren’t good because it’s the only way I would be able to try her eyeshadows since her larger palettes are SOOOO expensive. I’ve been using the Step Right Up duo for a super easy everyday eye look... the bronzer in the crease and a little bit of the highlight on the lid, add mascara and done!
I was not a fan of the Natasha Denona palette either!! It was too patchy on the eyes and considering it was Natasha Denona I was suprised!! Very disappointing

I just received my VIB haul. I got the Urban Decay Distortion palette and the Too Faced White Peach. They were both under 25.00. They both have a great shade range and wonderful formulas.
I'm so surprised! I love my mini Lila, it was also my first natasha denona purchase and I was completely floored by the quality. I find that the shadows blend better than any other shadow in my collection and it has made me consider biting the bullet and paying for the larger Denona palettes. I thought the shimmers were lovely and the mattes were very pigmented and blended very well. I found that I didn't need to dip into another palate to get a complete look, and I could achieve variety as well. So sorry to hear yours wasn't up to par :(
I felt the same way! I loved how easily it blended and how pretty it looked on my eyes. The shimmery gold was gorgeous for me. I’m always surprised by the negative reviews
I'm surprised too. It worked amazingly for me. I haven't actually seen many negative reviews a lot of the ones I've seen and read were positive which is why I went ahead and bought it and definitely don't regret it.
After I put down eye primer on my lids, I put down a layer of the lightest shade from one of the Milani palettes, then the eyeshadows from the ND mini Lila palette go on smoothly. No patchiness. My problem with the ND palette is that the blue shade leaves sparkles all over my face-impossible to remove.
I love how you leave the suggestions in the description box - another sign of excellent quality! Can you do a side by side swatch of the Lila pallet and the Juvia's place? The Lila is my second palette, I got a 5 pan in the spring. Each time I've received broken palettes and while I don't hate them I'm also not over the moon.
Natasha Denona eyeshadows are too inconsistent, I am not willing to waste my money on something so pricey where there is a 50/50 chance I'll like them.
Not sure if you tried it yet but the Too Faced born this way concealer is amazing!! It doesn’t crease at all and is full coverage. It’s like tart shape tape but more hydrating with less creasing!
ND regular palettes are amazing (besides the tropical palette that was a dud) but the mini ones aren’t good at all! I did a whole video using the sunset bigger palette like a year ago and you can literally see how they basically blend themselves! Her mates are way better then her shimmers sometimes bc the shimmers can get a little crumbly w/o a glitter primer
That's funny, I love the Step Right Up duo, it's become a reliable little workhorse for me. The bronzer is a nice contour shade on me and the highlighter isn't anything to write home about but it's pretty decent for subtle workday highlight.
For some reason, there is a huge difference between the mini ND shadows and regular palettes. I own everything she’s released, and the mini palettes are so disappointing. Her bigger palettes are amazing.

I also bought the ND mini lila palette and I do agree with you! It's lacking in performance and I was dissapointed as I also have the big palette and that one blends itself - always! I would check out the full size 5 pan ND palettes. I own 3 of them (#2,4, and 12) and love them. I find the shimmers in them really unique amongst my collection. The only down side is they are more so companion palettes since then don’t contain many mattes and are more for adding fun pops of shimmer.
I finally got the elf oil control primer mist because of your recommendation. I love it! It does what I have always hoped my mattifying primer creams and powders would do, but just didn't. Also, I can apply it just in my T-zone without having my foundation grab differently in that area. The sprayer is terrible, but I just transfer the liquid to an old but cleaned UD all-nighter bottle.
How old is your Catrice concealer? I only ask because you said you pulled it back out of your collection and I wonder if the smell not going away could be because it’s older. I use that concealer every day and I can smell it when I first put it on but not for very long. And I am very sensitive to scents. I couldn’t even use the Coty Airspun powder because it was so strongly scented it have me a headache and it would NOT go away. Lol. I actually left the container open on my vanity for like two days hoping it would air out and all it did was make my room hardcore smell like the powder. I gave it to my mom. Lol. I do feel like the Catrice concealer is starting to look “old” and dry under my eyes which sucks because it’s so cheap and I loved it! 😭 Smell still isn’t an issue for me though.

I'm really bummed because I love my ND Lila palette, but the mini lila was very difficult to use compared to the full size lila. I also love the Kush mascara. It's wonderful for those with sensitive eyes and/or people feel mascaras are too drying on the lashes.
Zuhal Saadut I just picked up ABH subculture @ Marshall’s last week! They were more well stocked than I’d ever seen & seem to be getting better re: sealing items, which in & of itself helps a lot!
Good, I really hope my local TJmaxx starts sealing their makeup items better. Sometimes they have good stuff, but the items are always opened and touched, gross
Sunfish OutOfWater omg! since i started shopping for makeup at marshalls i’ve gotten the too faced bronzer, natural mattes palette, some abh lip glosses and a lancome blush 😍 it helps me save soo much money
Toy Keyper yeah my marshalls is like that unfortunately :( but if you come in the mornings when they stock the shelves you can usually find some unused/unopened makeup

Hang onto the Milk Makeup mascara... Once it's been open for about a month it works so much better. It is definitely one of those mascaras that works better once it dries out. I wasn't a fan at first but now I enjoy it enough to at least use it up. 💖
ND full sized shadows are awesome. Idk about the new camel pallet but what I love about my 5 pans are the unique combinations of colors, textures and finishes. I bought mine at her store in NYC and the way the have it set up is by complexion and the way she pairs colors, textures and finishes is amazing. I bought one that I really didn’t think I would like or suit me and it is my absolute favorite. Love the Milk mascara, honestly, since I’ve started using this my eyelashes have grown longer. No lie.... I do also love Lash Paradise so if I couldn’t have the kush mascara I wouldn’t be crushed but I really like having it. Oddly enough, I would have a hard time living w/o my Clinique bottom lash mascara. Don’t even trip about the AC. I didn’t even notice. Anyone who complains about it can kick rocks.
I have been using the Catrice concealer for over 4 years now religiously and here are a few things I learned along the way: - You must have hydrated skin - Less is more - It does not work with all foundations - It looks better if you simply set it instead of baking it.
I know swatches arn't everything but I swatched that mini palette in the store & that purple was horrible so chalky & little to no pigment... I was like is this a joke? :( I feel it's kinda unfair the formula isn't the same as the big palettes. It's like ok plebs here is a mini to make you think you're getting something good lol.
I really have to agree about the Mini Lila. The brown is great for me because I work up color slowly, but the purples were definitely not good. I have four full sized palettes from Denona, and they're all great, but the smaller palettes I have are just not up to par :/
I purchased the Liquid Camouflage concealer after hearing many influencers rave about it and am so disappointed in it. I don't have issues with a lot of concealers creasing and this one creases so badly on me! I also don't love the smell and I don't think it really blends out that well. I'm going to use it up because I don't want my money to go to waste, but I will never repurchase it.
Yes! That kush milk mascara was just pretty not world changing. The hourglass one reminds me a lot of the essence lash princess, so I'll stick to that.

In my experience with ND shadows, you can’t set your primer. Setting your primer for some reason causes the shadows to drag and not perform well. Try not setting your primer and see how it goes.
When your return the mini I would say swatch the regular palettes from Natasha I love my sunset palette to death. I am also obsessed with the diamond and blush palette! My best friend is obsessed with the kush mascara but I wasn’t impressed either.
The mini Natasha Denona palettes are a completely different formula than most of her full sized ones. Try one of her 5 pan palettes ... you will be blown away with the mattes and shimmers/metallics. I think she's trying new formulas because her popular one is very soft and prone to breakage.
I’m returning my mini Lila today. I had the sane experiences but just thought it was my lack of experience, which is probably the case too😂 these shadows just aren’t for me.

yeah, the mini palettes are totally different. I was very disappointed. The metallics are not creamy at all. They were very densely packed and both of mine already hit hard pan.
I was really disappointed with the mini Lila palette too, it did not show up true to color on darker skin and it was difficult to work with. I have never had a good experience with ND shadows, I’m throwing in the towel.
I tried the Colourpop Setting Spray and it just doesn't help the makeup hold as well as UD allnighter or Skindinavia. I have the pressed powder and it's good for me. I hear really great things about the loose powder. I have the Catrice concealer and am panning my KVD before I open it
I LOVE ND’s original really big palettes. The mattes blend like a dream and the metallics are the best I’ve used. I ordered mine off Beautylish so the money wasn’t a huge one time hit.
I have the ND Lila palette, the most expensive makeup item I ever bought and it’s truly beautiful. I love the mattes and shimmers in it. It’s very smooth, not sure why the minis are not the same. Also $25 for something so cheap looking, I’m surprised she keeps popping them out.
I also struggle with undereye creasing, and I took your advice for buying the Catrice concealer! I overlooked it creasing on me too!! It even claims it is waterproof and crease proof, but it creases on me badly as well! I will follow your advice and get the colourpop no filter concealer instead. The scent is very strong, I kinda like it lol! But I totally get where you are coming from, it is so strong it could even cause a headache. I used this to cover up acne on my chin and it would be uncomfortable and it would go away by midday, even with powder (milani 2&1) it does look good and is blendable and hydrating but that’s it. Also the shade range is absolutely disappointing! Thanks for your amazing videos as always ☺️
I have the 5 pan holiday palette from Natasha Denona, Aeris, and it is nothing like the mini Lila, in my opinion. I love the Aeris palette, but I am not loving the mini Lila for the same reasons you mentioned.
This is why i am so in between about that new Natasha Denona all matte palette. Like i love the colors but its so expensive . I just bought that New E.L.F palette and i love it! But i have seen so many bad reviews on the mini palette’s 🤷🏻♀️ Aso note i bought that essence eyebrow gel and its amazing! Thanks for the suggestion :)

Huh...andrea’s actually the 3rd person I’ve watched today saying it totally didn’t work for them!
I'm surprised too. It worked amazingly for me. I haven't actually seen many negative reviews a lot of the ones I've seen and read were positive which is why I went ahead and bought it and definitely don't regret it.
Christina I agreed, blends great , The pigment is there . I love it.
After I put down eye primer on my lids, I put down a layer of the lightest shade from one of the Milani palettes, then the eyeshadows from the ND mini Lila palette go on smoothly. No patchiness. My problem with the ND palette is that the blue shade leaves sparkles all over my face-impossible to remove.

I love how you leave the suggestions in the description box - another sign of excellent quality! Can you do a side by side swatch of the Lila pallet and the Juvia's place? The Lila is my second palette, I got a 5 pan in the spring. Each time I've received broken palettes and while I don't hate them I'm also not over the moon.
Natasha Denona eyeshadows are too inconsistent, I am not willing to waste my money on something so pricey where there is a 50/50 chance I'll like them.
Honestly sephora deletes alot of bad reviews...#fact 😏
Not sure if you tried it yet but the Too Faced born this way concealer is amazing!! It doesn’t crease at all and is full coverage. It’s like tart shape tape but more hydrating with less creasing!

ND regular palettes are amazing (besides the tropical palette that was a dud) but the mini ones aren’t good at all! I did a whole video using the sunset bigger palette like a year ago and you can literally see how they basically blend themselves! Her mates are way better then her shimmers sometimes bc the shimmers can get a little crumbly w/o a glitter primer
That's funny, I love the Step Right Up duo, it's become a reliable little workhorse for me. The bronzer is a nice contour shade on me and the highlighter isn't anything to write home about but it's pretty decent for subtle workday highlight.
For some reason, there is a huge difference between the mini ND shadows and regular palettes. I own everything she’s released, and the mini palettes are so disappointing. Her bigger palettes are amazing.

I also bought the ND mini lila palette and I do agree with you! It's lacking in performance and I was dissapointed as I also have the big palette and that one blends itself - always! I prefer that one so much more and I thought they would be the same formula as so many people raved about the mini. Thinking about selling mine now..

I would love a video on how you use the colourpop concealer as foundation. I watched a video from Nicole Fischer and I loved it, she showed her favorites video from last year and talked about if she still loved it or not. Would you do a video like that as well?
I usually stay away from high end mascaras until I got a sample of the huge lashes mascara from stilla and I love it!
I would check out the full size 5 pan ND palettes. I own 3 of them (#2,4, and 12) and love them. I find the shimmers in them really unique amongst my collection. The only down side is they are more so companion palettes since then don’t contain many mattes and are more for adding fun pops of shimmer.
I finally got the elf oil control primer mist because of your recommendation. I love it! It does what I have always hoped my mattifying primer creams and powders would do, but just didn't. Also, I can apply it just in my T-zone without having my foundation grab differently in that area. The sprayer is terrible, but I just transfer the liquid to an old but cleaned UD all-nighter bottle.

How old is your Catrice concealer? I only ask because you said you pulled it back out of your collection and I wonder if the smell not going away could be because it’s older. I use that concealer every day and I can smell it when I first put it on but not for very long. And I am very sensitive to scents. I couldn’t even use the Coty Airspun powder because it was so strongly scented it have me a headache and it would NOT go away. Lol. I actually left the container open on my vanity for like two days hoping it would air out and all it did was make my room hardcore smell like the powder. I gave it to my mom. Lol.
I do feel like the Catrice concealer is starting to look “old” and dry under my eyes which sucks because it’s so cheap and I loved it! 😭 Smell still isn’t an issue for me though.

I don’t like the milk makeup powder as well. I use the shade deep and it makes me look gray

I'm really bummed because I love my ND Lila palette, but the mini lila was very difficult to use compared to the full size lila.
I also love the Kush mascara. It's wonderful for those with sensitive eyes and/or people feel mascaras are too drying on the lashes.

Zuhal Saadut I just picked up ABH subculture @ Marshall’s last week! They were more well stocked than I’d ever seen & seem to be getting better re: sealing items, which in & of itself helps a lot!
Good, I really hope my local TJmaxx starts sealing their makeup items better. Sometimes they have good stuff, but the items are always opened and touched, gross
Sunfish OutOfWater omg! since i started shopping for makeup at marshalls i’ve gotten the too faced bronzer, natural mattes palette, some abh lip glosses and a lancome blush 😍 it helps me save soo much money
Toy Keyper yeah my marshalls is like that unfortunately :( but if you come in the mornings when they stock the shelves you can usually find some unused/unopened makeup
I also returned the ND mini palette......couldn't get it to work for me.....I was disappointed. I loved the colors.

Hang onto the Milk Makeup mascara... Once it's been open for about a month it works so much better. It is definitely one of those mascaras that works better once it dries out. I wasn't a fan at first but now I enjoy it enough to at least use it up. 💖
I totally agree with you on the milk makeup mascara. I got a sample of it and it was not working for me at all.
ND full sized shadows are awesome. Idk about the new camel pallet but what I love about my 5 pans are the unique combinations of colors, textures and finishes. I bought mine at her store in NYC and the way the have it set up is by complexion and the way she pairs colors, textures and finishes is amazing. I bought one that I really didn’t think I would like or suit me and it is my absolute favorite. Love the Milk mascara, honestly, since I’ve started using this my eyelashes have grown longer. No lie.... I do also love Lash Paradise so if I couldn’t have the kush mascara I wouldn’t be crushed but I really like having it. Oddly enough, I would have a hard time living w/o my Clinique bottom lash mascara.
Don’t even trip about the AC. I didn’t even notice. Anyone who complains about it can kick rocks.
I have been using the Catrice concealer for over 4 years now religiously and here are a few things I learned along the way:
- You must have hydrated skin
- Less is more
- It does not work with all foundations
- It looks better if you simply set it instead of baking it.
I know swatches arn't everything but I swatched that mini palette in the store & that purple was horrible so chalky & little to no pigment... I was like is this a joke? :( I feel it's kinda unfair the formula isn't the same as the big palettes. It's like ok plebs here is a mini to make you think you're getting something good lol.

I really have to agree about the Mini Lila. The brown is great for me because I work up color slowly, but the purples were definitely not good. I have four full sized palettes from Denona, and they're all great, but the smaller palettes I have are just not up to par :/

I purchased the Liquid Camouflage concealer after hearing many influencers rave about it and am so disappointed in it. I don't have issues with a lot of concealers creasing and this one creases so badly on me! I also don't love the smell and I don't think it really blends out that well. I'm going to use it up because I don't want my money to go to waste, but I will never repurchase it.
Yes! That kush milk mascara was just pretty not world changing. The hourglass one reminds me a lot of the essence lash princess, so I'll stick to that.
Samantha March on TH-cam returned her little lila palette too! Youre not alone. Sephora censors their reviews for sure.
I didn't like the milk kush mascara when I first tried it but now I love it! I think you have to let it dry out a little bit

The concealer from catrice creases on me horribly too! I love that concealer but it creases like hell 😪
I had a really bad experience with the ND larger five pans. They got super muddy and all blended together in a few hours. So disappointing.

In my experience with ND shadows, you can’t set your primer. Setting your primer for some reason causes the shadows to drag and not perform well. Try not setting your primer and see how it goes.
When your return the mini I would say swatch the regular palettes from Natasha I love my sunset palette to death. I am also obsessed with the diamond and blush palette! My best friend is obsessed with the kush mascara but I wasn’t impressed either.

The mini Natasha Denona palettes are a completely different formula than most of her full sized ones. Try one of her 5 pan palettes ... you will be blown away with the mattes and shimmers/metallics. I think she's trying new formulas because her popular one is very soft and prone to breakage.
I’m returning my mini Lila today. I had the sane experiences but just thought it was my lack of experience, which is probably the case too😂 these shadows just aren’t for me.

yeah, the mini palettes are totally different. I was very disappointed. The metallics are not creamy at all. They were very densely packed and both of mine already hit hard pan.
I was really disappointed with the mini Lila palette too, it did not show up true to color on darker skin and it was difficult to work with. I have never had a good experience with ND shadows, I’m throwing in the towel.
i lovee colourpop pressed powder bronzers but the ones in the mini duos are not as good so you should try them!
I tried the Colourpop Setting Spray and it just doesn't help the makeup hold as well as UD allnighter or Skindinavia. I have the pressed powder and it's good for me. I hear really great things about the loose powder. I have the Catrice concealer and am panning my KVD before I open it

I LOVE ND’s original really big palettes. The mattes blend like a dream and the metallics are the best I’ve used. I ordered mine off Beautylish so the money wasn’t a huge one time hit.

I have the ND Lila palette, the most expensive makeup item I ever bought and it’s truly beautiful. I love the mattes and shimmers in it. It’s very smooth, not sure why the minis are not the same. Also $25 for something so cheap looking, I’m surprised she keeps popping them out.

I also struggle with undereye creasing, and I took your advice for buying the Catrice concealer! I overlooked it creasing on me too!! It even claims it is waterproof and crease proof, but it creases on me badly as well! I will follow your advice and get the colourpop no filter concealer instead. The scent is very strong, I kinda like it lol! But I totally get where you are coming from, it is so strong it could even cause a headache. I used this to cover up acne on my chin and it would be uncomfortable and it would go away by midday, even with powder (milani 2&1) it does look good and is blendable and hydrating but that’s it. Also the shade range is absolutely disappointing! Thanks for your amazing videos as always ☺️
I have the 5 pan holiday palette from Natasha Denona, Aeris, and it is nothing like the mini Lila, in my opinion. I love the Aeris palette, but I am not loving the mini Lila for the same reasons you mentioned.

This is why i am so in between about that new Natasha Denona all matte palette. Like i love the colors but its so expensive . I just bought that New E.L.F palette and i love it!
