@@ericscorch6272According to one of his items, he's actually weaker than what we become due to lacking the strength to become a Lord (presumably by getting to and defeating the Elden Beast). So the PC Lord of Frenzy is even more busted, which makes sense when he's burning the Erdtree to the ground simply by raising his hands.

As seen with this old man,being the vessel of the frienzed flame is incredibly painful and difficult,so painful the oldman wilingly detached his head just for the pain to stop.
This could happen to everyone probably,even in the frienzed flame ending,our vessel might also break one day

So, given that events of Shadow of the Erdtree canonically happen before we kill Marika/Radagon, I assume we 'canonically' kill this guy and then become the Lord of Frenzied Flame ourselves (if we choose to do so, of course).

I do get the radahn hate but once you accept that it’s kinda bad taste and appreciate the rest it’s not bad. Looks cool and is kinda like an inverse of godfrey and then combined with radagon. The first phase similar to Godfrey in design and then he adds his version of serosh in miquella making the design similar but his moveset adds the golds like radagon. It’s still a cool boss and technically optional. That said this is more of what I was expecting with this DLC.

plus there definitely seems to be a lot of weirdness going on behind the scenes. 100% sure radahn was chosen to be brought back [because] people would have such a strong gut reaction to it, and I won't be surprised if it ends up emphasizing some of Miquella's implied villainous traits by using such a beloved character both in and out of universe

Plus his ability to woo whoever. I just think he is a victim of his natural desires like the rest of the demigods/gods. Now think about the Marika family and radahn is probably the best guy of the bunch lol. He also modeled himself after radagon who had a pretty good relationship with miquella. Incest obviously but can’t apply our standards to fictional gods can we😂. Miquella may have genuinely just thought he was a good person who’s worthy to be consort. But I also think he took it to far I don’t think the prime radahn we fight is really “living” and is more so a puppet of miquella at this point,m. An obsessive love much like the one he causes others to have.
@@TheNamezZNah, he's a god damn villain alright. His followers reveal that this was all part of a grand plan, and the Young Lion set reveals that Malenia was in on said plan from the beginning.
The messed up bit is that his plan was to r*pe Radahn, who wanted no part of his destiny as a consort and hence conquered the Stars.
His and Malenia's actions obliterated Caelid, killed who knows how many soldiers on both sides, and put Radahn through an eternity of agony. And poor Radahn still wasn't done suffering, as Miquella essentially used necromancy to resurrect his soul in a new body puppeted by him.

@A_Normal_Guy727 nothing is undodgable. Just go into the fight with the understanding that you will die, fail, and that you are there to learn as much as you can during the time you are alive for.
And that you have multiple options to avoid attackings such a vow of the abdominal (pretty sure that is the name) and blood hound step, ect. You just have to find what works for you (or you can go and level up your scaterdew level or increase your vigor to give you more chances to make mistakes)

@@ghostflossy2403 Shabriri isn't the lord of frenzy. He's more like a guide, a prophet, or a herald. Midra is one of many who tried to become the true Lord of Frenzy, but who was too weak to become a Lord (by getting into and presumably using the Erdtree as fuel for a world ending bonfire).

This can also be supported by the spirit-echo words we find just inside the Manse:

Trying to solo this dude currently. Sheesh, after he lights the room up, it gets really difficult. You don't see it in this vid because he stuns him so much with his Spirit, but this dude has a ton of different moves. I think I counted about 12-13. And some of them look similar so it's pretty damn hard. I'm also trying this way before I probably should lol. Went to the castle, 1.5 hours later ended up here. Absolutely loving this DLC.

such a sick boss. I did not expect to find a lord of frenzy flame there despite all the hints considering the manor and the entire area outside of it is infested with frenzy. And the fact that torrent was too scared to travel in the abyss because he doesn't like frenzy just as melina does. awesome

Ahhh solid battle, actually wrecked him xD unfortunately this clip doesn't feature his full moveset so it really isn't a full showcase of the boss, but still a good fight. It's missing his frenzied beam blast that's kinda like a frenzied comet azur, and about two other moves he does with his sword, another of them also flaming
