There was a lot of confusion regarding the scaling of Malenia, this is her original scaling. HOWEVER, there is a technical detail that should've been mentioned in the video; which is that she was given the same advantage as the spirit summon ashes if fully upgraded with the new Scadutree Blessing mechanic, which gives is around 30% extra damage negation, and triple the attack power. This was done because the DLC bosses are designed in a manner where their stats are very high in that regard, and to have the summoned enemies have their "original power", they scaled it off in such a way, and we followed it in the video.
We will be taking that aspect more closely in detail in the next videos and figuring out the exact way the mechanic works; in order to balance the fights in a better manner, however for the time being, enjoy the content!
You should've used the blessing that the players have instead of that, I don't think players get triple the damage from even a fully upgraded blessing
@@knightgabriel1311 No, they only get double and have zero damage negation. They have a boost to flat defense, but no damage negation add-on.

Rellana is both Malenia’s aunt and sister in law 😭. Also lore wise, Miquella sent Malenia to fight Radanh and damage his brain, so Miquella’s can revive his soul later on and Radanh wouldn’t be able to object. Miquella the kind should be known as Miquella the freaky. Our boy Mogh was a victim, not the other way around.
The whole situation with Mohg makes me sad. Radahn and Mohg are both victims of Miquella, the prodigious empyrean is fucking disturbing as hell. Wish I could’ve killed him and not Radahn (though I guess we’re mercy killing Radahn at this point).

I love Malenia a LOT. But even I can see she's buffed. If that is the equivalent to the scadu tree buffs, then fine. But otherwise I know she'd lose to almost everyone here cause the dlc has stats that are WAYYYY too high for basegame
It's not he gave her the spirit ashes buffs which triple her damage and give her something like 50% damage negation.

the uploader changed some values around, the sote bosses should be doing a whole lot more damage than they are. Maybe he has all the scadutree fragments which is meant to trivialise the dlc for people struggling

@@ByrgenworthGraduate more closure on Godwin would be great but he's as dead as it gets, his soul is perma deleted by the rune of death with his body being there. People expecting him to return and complain about the lore are being hypocritical because they want to jump through mental hoops to get what they want. I am personally underwhelmed because there wasn't much build up to this reveal (except Malenia whispering something to Radhan). Also the fact that this DLC doesn't happen after we complete the main story also locks out that option from practical perspective and we know that because after burning the erdtree some quests get locked (also Miquella calls us aspiring lord)
@@ByrgenworthGraduateYeah, most of the complaints I’ve seen weren’t really about the boss itself, but about how Miquella has a lot more lore relating to Godwyn, and not much of anything involving Radahn (at least to my knowledge), so it was disappointing to many just see him again, not to mention it feels a bit like it was done for the sake of fanservice rather than the story since Radahn is pretty popular among the community.
I’m fairly certain a prime Radahn fight would’ve been much more welcome if it hadn’t been where it was.

She's going to win everytime because of lifesteal, unless You find a massive damage boss that dodges a lot like maliketh. Radamiquella comes close, but he barely dodge stuff.
the extra health bar is the bigger problem imo, messmer would've won if they had single health bars each, And obviously Radahn almost won despite it.

As far as I can tell, they've released a bunch of videos since then and have ignored all the comments asking that. So I don't think they're going to redo it properly. They really must love Malenia. This is why I'm not subscribed to this channel. Incredibly disappointing.

@@UltraStarWarsFanaticThis mechanic was made only for player, since DLC starts at the point, where his HP, ATK and DEF increase very slow. So this was simply made to keep increasing enemy's HP and ATK. For example, Malenia has 33000 HP (in summ) and Messmer has 39000 HP. The thing is people wanna see which boss mechanic is the strongest For example, Maliketh's stats are no match no match for Malenia's, yet Elden Doggo can defeat her.

As I explained, if you keep original scaling, the DLC bosses are very overpowered, which is why they added Scadutree Fragments to sort of bridge that gap in scaling.
Scadutree Fragment is too much scaling for her.
You didn't scale such like a too much support for other different level character before.

Yeah, nobody scales for example Godrick to endgame in boss vs boss videos, why should Malenia get special treatment? Just keep original scaling for all bosses.

DLC Radahn was insane, I actually died more to him than Malenia, Moveset is actually crazy. I think its cool that him and Malenia were so evenly matched here, Even with the lifesteal it was a close fight, I guess its pretty accurate to the lore lol

I feel like you should've clarified that she had the Scadutree Blessing mechanic from the spirit ashes. Saying she's at original scaling seems like false advertising if you're just gonna buff her damage by 3x and give her 30% damage negation.
Seems more like the bosses were buffed and this returned them to normal levels, considering that the fights played out close to how they would in lore.
Wow, for the first time in my life I was actually cheering for Malenia. Also, can you imagine the hurt that would come from finding Miquella, giving no care about his sister, having accepted the pledge of someone that she was sent to assassinate? Not cool, golden boy. Not cool at all.
And Malenia was slowly dying in the Haligtree. It was the tarnished who had to finish her suffering.

Anyone who uses this video to say melania is harder than the DLC bosses is simply wrong. Bosses aren’t coded to dodge waterfoal of the scarlet flower. That coupled with melanias heal on hit makes it damn near impossible for an AI in the game to beat her. As a player she’s a lot easier than the dlc bosses

Hilarious that you tried making Malenia seem sympathetic to St. Trina, when the armor set you get from the final boss of the DLC explicitly states she not only knew about Miquella's plot but also actively assisted in it.
It was the reason she attacked Radahn in the first place, an attempt to kill him so the soul of his 'promised consort' would be delivered unto Miquella.

outside of these duels does rot even work in the dlc, cause I've tried it on most of the bosses I've encountered and I could never get it to proc.
To put into perspective, if you watch other videos of these DLC bosses fighting Malenia where she isn’t buffed, even Romina beats her

malenia is stronger with the rot, despite losing her limbs and such it is a double-edged sword, the rot is what makes her stronger and she used it against radahn for a stalemate
