NK was fighting only in his phase 2 while all the ER bosses got all their phases and despite NK lost the majority of the fights, he could win most of them if his phase 1 included too. Also it’s interesting to see that since DS3 how boss movesets “evolved”, NK has more precise attacks while almost all of the ER bosses are just spaming aoes and 270 degree swipe attacks. NK was designed on 1v1 combat so he is only dangerous if you stand at front of him - excluding a few swipe attacks, but this is true to most of the DS3 bosses - while ER bosses reach everywhere with almost all of their attacks, doesn’t matter what direction you are trying to approach.
In a real 1 to 1 translation of NK without the skewed scaling in his favor like in this video? Both phases of NK would've been killed off before any of the bosses even finished their second combo, much less second phase.
@@samchoi1213 Yeah that’s true, but I thought he got the scaling because this is a different game with different numbers so it’s pretty hard to make a “fair” combat between them, even with the scaling, but despite that in DS3 he can still be a sucking-train
Only reason Nameless died to Romina was that this 8:36 attack somehow "missed" her hitbox despite clearly going right through her. Edit: Also it's crazy how quickly he can poise break Rellana.
I don’t know why some people ask for the original stat of NK ? The total HP in 2 phases of him is just less than 12k, while you guys can see at 14:34, Radahn does freaking 5,5k dmg only with his 1,2,X combo. NK has high poise but does it really matter if he gets slapped in 3 hits ?
@@TheStraightestWhitest then we don’t need to watch any BvB clip since ER DLC bosses will win ALL THE TIME against any boss from the previous games. They got massive HP bar, deal crazy dmg, have superior moveset, super aggressive,….
Imagine after his death, NK's soul just wandering in the between the nothingness, then got revived out of nowhere by the gate. It fits better cus he's also a dragon slaying god of war.
Seeing a weird amount of comments asking "Why did you upscale NK" he has *9.9k* health in ds3 NG+7 *9.9k* I did 8k-10k in a single aow with like 3 different builds in this dlc of course bro had to upscale NK
So it's fine for the Nameless King to be given the stats to put him on par or greater than some SoTE Bosses but we can't buff the Poise on Elden Ring's Bosses?
Could you imagine if Miyazaki had actually done this instead of Consort Radahn...and that in the second phase, Miquella was just Crossbreed Priscilla? Like, holy smokes...that would've been a massive curveball. Kinda stupid, yes...but a curveball all the same.
AGAIN? WHERE IS HIS FIRST PHASE?!?!? if all edlen ring bossess get both phases than why not him? i know he would absolutely kill everyone but come on man?!
They always buff ds3 bosses stats like crazy in these but don't nerf their poise damage, knowing full well that it wouldn't be a balanced matchup. I feel like this type of content is aimed at people who did rage quit playing elden ring. Idk why GoE does it, they don't seem to hate the game
Always a fan of the Nameless King. He is the souls+ boss that made me sit down and learn to learn fights effectively. Others have been harder since, but none has subjectively seemed as hard since (or taken as many attempts to get down). It looks like he'd have cleaned house here if he'd had his phase 1 too. King of the Storm missed the portal to the lands between, eh?
I already knew he was going to lose to the majority of the bosses, the DLC isn't bringing in heavy hitters it's the fact they all take inspiration from NK but spam AOEs or massive hit boxes on their attacks. DLC isn't hard it's just gotta lot of gimmicks.
The lower Poise barriers for ER really helps NK out so much. His damage is good but he attacks rather slow. Without those easier Poise breaks NK would barely win any of these fights.
NO NAMELESS KING, CURSE YOU BAYLE! I HEAYBY VOW, YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY! BEHOLD A TRUE DRAKE WARRIOR, AND I IGON. YOUR FEARS MADE FLESH! SOLID OF SCALE YOU MIGHT BE, FOUL DRAGON... BUT I WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTON HIDE! WITH A HAIL OF HARPOONS! WITH EVER LAST DROP OF MY BEING! GRAAAAAAAARGH!!! BAYLE THE DREAD! YOU SHALL HAUNT ME NO LONGER
I don’t really understand the point of this. SOTE bosses are way tougher than NK ever was, with faster attacks and much greater aggression. When he beats any of them, it’s only because you’ve set his stats high enough to do so.
Some of these need to be done multiple times. It’s a shame that some of these bosses just get lucky once and that fight is the one that we end up getting. I guarantee that if you ran him vs Romina ten times he would comfortably take the majority. I would even bet that he could take a majority against Bayle.
Admittedly it is weird that they aren't using accurate scaling for Nameless King and just completely buffed him far more than he is even in NG+7 in Dark Souls 3.
NK could only win in the ones where its damage was absurdly high than the DLC boss, once again a shitty "balance", I don't understand how they don't get bored letting the boss break the balance all the time as the only alternative to beat the ER bosses.
how does damage work in these games? is it based on a percentage or a raw number affected by modifiers? from my experience it seems like raw numbers but lately i've been wondering if it also figures a percentage of max health.

I think mesmer pissed off nameless king lol
makes me sad that he lost some fights because some of his attacks literally just didn’t register
17:35 when They both clashed was so nice
Only reason Nameless died to Romina was that this 8:36 attack somehow "missed" her hitbox despite clearly going right through her.
Edit: Also it's crazy how quickly he can poise break Rellana.
it looks like his spear has hit the ground before she moved in to attack. a perfect accidental dodge
Honestly that would be pretty funny to see.
Because we want to see who'd win, not who Garden of Eyes wants to win.
@@TheStraightestWhitest then we don’t need to watch any BvB clip since ER DLC bosses will win ALL THE TIME against any boss from the previous games. They got massive HP bar, deal crazy dmg, have superior moveset, super aggressive,….
10:32 pretty smooth first phase kill
Can we see sleave knight geal vs the dlc bosses please
From the divine gate a shape takes form
And the land of shadow drifts into a storm
Imagine after his death, NK's soul just wandering in the between the nothingness, then got revived out of nowhere by the gate.
It fits better cus he's also a dragon slaying god of war.
Seeing a weird amount of comments asking "Why did you upscale NK"
he has *9.9k* health in ds3 NG+7
*9.9k*
I did 8k-10k in a single aow with like 3 different builds in this dlc of course bro had to upscale NK
So it's fine for the Nameless King to be given the stats to put him on par or greater than some SoTE Bosses but we can't buff the Poise on Elden Ring's Bosses?
Pontiff Sulyvahn vs bosses dlc, although I'm not sure if he can defeat Radahn and Miquella want to see him facing the Rellana.
Since you're already doing crossover fights with the DLC, could we get a Demon of Hatred vs Elden Ring DLC bosses?
The last moment with Bayle is amazing
As a fellow god of war radahn sent him back the best way by going all out with his strongest attack, no hesitation.
@2:34- That was actually pretty funny.
I want to see ARTORIAS & SIF reunite to take on all bosses.
17:51 is THE best part wtf
Damn that was so cool, by the way i have idea "Inner Ishin vs all DLC elden ring" bro i hope you create this one
The nameless king was my favorite boss back then. If he was on the dragon first it would be interesting to see what happened.
Gave him wayy too much stagger
What you mean by that you give him DLC bosses scaling, did you buffed him ?
now we have to do dark eater midir
Man more bloodborne enemies and bosses vs eldenring bosses old and newlol
Lmaaooo i feel bad for midra first phase when nameless king keep hit him like baby
Now let's see Sword Saint Isshin invading the Land of Shadows
My Lord Nameless King is so powerful, and YOU know it
Nameless king should have won against Bayle, his specialty was literally hunting dragons after all
it was so close too
Could you imagine if Miyazaki had actually done this instead of Consort Radahn...and that in the second phase, Miquella was just Crossbreed Priscilla?
Since the last trailer is out I'm dying to see Bayle vs Midir
The lower Poise barriers for ER really helps NK out so much. His damage is good but he attacks rather slow. Without those easier Poise breaks NK would barely win any of these fights.
These are always so lame because of the poise system in Elden ring. The fights always become stun lock fests, and makes them way more boring.
OH Shit its Dark Souls Jesus. The Son of God has come to spank the Lands Between.
Edit: Correction, he has come to Spank and be Spanked haha.
Some of these need to be done multiple times. It’s a shame that some of these bosses just get lucky once and that fight is the one that we end up getting. I guarantee that if you ran him vs Romina ten times he would comfortably take the majority. I would even bet that he could take a majority against Bayle.
So cringe how you scale up the DS3 bosses but then leave their completely broken poise, should just remove it
Admittedly it is weird that they aren't using accurate scaling for Nameless King and just completely buffed him far more than he is even in NG+7 in Dark Souls 3.
I wonder how the nk will respond to the dragon communion will he start eating dragon hearts and eventually become a dragon that can kinda hover he can float on air his movement speed will be crazy while also having high air pressure surrounding him sorta like the soilder that spin their weapon knocking you in the air.
You gave him wayyy too much poise damage. Elden Ring bosses are just more difficult and attack faster. There is no way around it for these old souls bosses to have a chance really.
Bro, the fact that Nameless King, a boss from a game that wasn't designed to be consistently poise broken, is *losing to elden ring dlc bosses because of sheer damage* truly speaks volumes
