Anna's draw has an asterisk by it, but clearly all the tournament play she's done lately has elevated her game. She has the talent, dedication and competitive spirit to become world class before long.
This draw was pure skill. When Anna's time was at 0:00 she found the stockfish best move, requesting to continue. It's a brilliant move, playing on the pride of the opponent who believes it's impossible for him to not win the game. Excellent play.
Love to see Wirtual and Anna hanging out- I never wouldve expected this, but I love both of their content, and it's amazing that they found each other through chess. This game was also amazing, and Hammer was certainly trolling in the beginning, but what an incredible draw nonetheless. Congrats, and keep making these videos- I love them all!
Anna, your time loss is only because of him playing the king unconventionally at the beginning, and trolling you for time. Your continuation draw is a sweet achievement.
It’s not a troll. I was prepping my lines in the Kingsindian Smirnov today and the engine randomly suggested the same move in a different opening. It didn’t make too much sense for me, but I saw that it was played by several strong players.
I wonder how it would have played out if time was never an issue? Actually, I don't. There's a reason he is a GM with a rating of 2600, she got lucky with a draw.

Amazing game! Everything other than the d5 pawn is helping you in the position and I love that (the c pawns will help in a checkmate if king moves to a6)
Anna lost an entire minute, 2:24-1:26, while Hammer justified his unusual king move. Then he was trolling her about checkmating her at the end, when he couldn't, which caused her to lose her last 3 seconds, at which point he only had 31 seconds on the clock. That was an interesting game Anna! Congrats on drawing a GM! Guys even if she lose on time but by this rating difference he still didn’t win after he agrees to continue, it’s a social game after all with talking etc. that interferes with time as well, not just silently playing serious in a tournament, and they used the exact same time control despite their rating difference. don’t spread so much negativity.
