I always find it so wholesome after Anna plays her parents and asks questions after the matches and they always explain the position to her. Such a sweet family
It's cool how competitive he is. How fast he goes for the clock shows just how committed to winning he is. That's against his daughter. I wonder how he felt about playing in the higher stakes venues.
Hahaha, I now understand why Anna always underlines that it is her mom that taught her to play chess. Her dad would have killed all her motivation and enthusiasm for the game by totally crushing her over and over again 😀
There should be a regular all-play-all family tournament, with Uncle Dan included. We could call it the Cramling family olympiad, or CRAMILIAD for short.
This is great. I remember playing scrabble with my dad (he was a scholar; I was a college drop out) and never winning a game until he was 80 and I was 47, He never gave me an inch. I loved every minute of the competition.
I was hanging out with some ppl and there was a chess board. So I asked if anybody knew how to play and this 12 yr old girl said she did.
