the last minute of this video blew my mind
Just when you think you don't need another Reverb plugin, this comes along. I'm amazed. Incredible sounding reverb and the GUI is next level. Damnit!
Dan Worrall presentation? No expense spared! Finally, an algorithmic reverb that sounds incredible, is highly customizable and doesn't break the bank!
I had no intention of purchasing this have just brought BYOME but there was something about the sound on this video so I downloaded the demo. To my ears this is one of the best Reverb VST that I have heard. I just hope UVI that you understand the deep shit that I will be in when my wife sees the card payment 😬

Sometimes but only once in a long period of time some product comes out on the market which will get you flabbergasted. This is one of them! The way it's emulating plates and give you all the control one would want is astonashing. And not the least it sounds superb. This will be my reverb to go to number one. Period. Must have for sound designers.

cc# control on the Band Decay timing splits please and it's the reverb for me. Sounds lovely, very versatile, just needs a bit more. If I could send some lfo's to those band split points would be enough for me.

On what machine is this demo created? 20-30% is quite heavy cpu load...
Indeed CPU load is quite heavy in this video, Dan uses a CPU from 2011 :)

I bought it today. Very very good sounding reverb and Plate emulator ( I worked with the original 240 gold in the eighties) but indeed heavy on the CPU especially in the highest resolution. It then goes to 40% even on my twelve core i7. Perhaps to be solved with an updated
Thanks for your feedback. Indeed Plate can process up to 20000 modes in real-time at the highest quality setting so a multicore CPU with AVX is highly recommended. The CPU budget can be adapted by lowering the Quality parameter. And increasing the host blocksize will also give more time to the OS to schedule threads on multiple cores. I'm aware my rig is getting old, but its rock solid and still keeps up fine... note that when the Plate gui reports 30% cpu use, Reaper's own cpu metering only reads 3.7%. My impression is the Reaper reading is closer to the truth: I have no trouble running Insane mode, even within a heavy mix.
yo man, is that you?:) you did a vst parameter modulation sandwich video? or to be more precise, input\output vst linking parameters. with kla**lm saturator plugin. cool, in short. nice hearing from you.

Music and speaking interfere each other :( Dan should give time to listen the changes in sound he is speaking about. His old videos were much more accurate.
