The look of sadness and understanding that fills Coach's face when Ted says, "“I hope that either all of us, or none of us, are judged by the actions of our weakest moment, but rather by the strength we show when and if we’re ever given a second chance.” is pure AWESOME. This show felt like a prescription for feeling better, and more hopeful, about life.
An underrated part of Jamie’s character development, when they get the bikes and the guy says 60 euros and Jamie goes “here’s a hundred, keep the change” big moment
2 minutes into this video and I'm crying my eyes out. What a show this was. People who don't watch football/soccer might never watch this series and I feel sad for them. What a masterpiece.
Folks on here upset that a different scene should be in the Top 8. Just realize it is because in 3 seasons of Ted Lasso, they packed a hundred or more great scenes, because it is the best TV show ever made.
Gonna miss this show forever. It was exactly the sappy forgiving kind of show I needed. I’d like to still have it, but if it’s over then it’s over. RIP Ted Lasso, I’m sorry to hear that he died.
8:10 Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike and the music playing in the background - made me laugh out loud. The song is "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head", sung by BJ Thomas. That same song is played in the movie, "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid". The song is played in the background while Paul Newman's character is riding a bike with Katherine Ross' character on the bike with him. It is a lovely, carefree and graceful scene. So Jamie and Roy simply tipping over at the beginning of the song was fantastic!!
God post-S1 Jamie is such a treasure. "FOR GRANDAAAAAD! orite, wait for me..." Also S3 Ted just knowing he is shattering Beard's entire perspective on the Nate situation and whistling while he walks out is completely iconic.
One of the best shows ever made! For me, the 2nd season Christmas episode where Roy and Keely try to help Roy's niece with her halitosis issues absolutely left me gasping for air!
2 slam dunk moments I cannot believe you missed: -Roy runs from the studio to the stadium as "She's a Rainbow" plays. -Jamie punches his father in the locker room and as everyone stares in shock, Roy comes over for an unexpected hug.
This is the greatest show of ALL-TIME!!! I appreciate whomever put this together and love all of the moments. However I disagree with the rankings and what has been left out.
A personal favourite mine is the bike scene in amsterdam. For me, that was actually very warming to see. Considering how Jamie and Roy hated each other in Season 1 to trying to build bridges in season 2 to then having this scene in season 3. And the fact is Jamie learnt so much from roy they began to have a friendship that was binded well. When Jamie said for Grandad, it was a very good call back to the first season in the fire ritual scene as well. Best character development of the whole show was Jamie and its not even a contest. How he turned his whole career and behaviou upside down was magic.
The first season is incredible. Obv as the season went they expanded characters, but the first will always be my favourite. Every scene and dialogue felt important.
Honestly this is one of the best Series ever Made in my opinion. Its Like „After Life“ for me. My english isnt good enough to Tell everything i love in this Show but yeah its just one of the best things i ever Seen
Rounding out the top fifteen: when they made Nate an assistant coach, the team choreographing a surprise dance for Ted, Ted's panic attack and Rebecca coming to his aid, Rebecca finding her daughter and love of her life, Ted's confrontation with his mother, Coach Beard showing up at Nate's place to pass along the second chance, the whole team bringing together pieces of the "believe" sign.
Its almost criminal that you didnt put the season 2: Rainbow episode where Roy Kent quits on live TV and runs to the stadium to be a coach for Richmond
It's partially here th-cam.com/video/L2BXdT_N1ss/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MoviesPassion However, because of the copyright this scene can't be posted fully :(
We need more positive show like this!!! So many positive stories on on show!!! But what Was so wonderful !!!! At the end it really about every character on the show!!!! Lol They made this show believable!!!! This my all time favorite!!!! I hope it got credited do to it!!! Lol All actors were incredibly!!! Just a old 65 nobody!!! This world has change for the worse and we need more positive things like this show!!! Lol I still believe and hope for this world future!!!! Lol God is good!!!!! All the time!!!!!!
For me, what is amazing about this scene is Ted actually listening to the words that are being said. He looks at Rebecca, doesn’t jester, nod his head, interrupt her statement until she finishes. And even then, waits a moment to digest the words before formulating a response. It allows him the ability to make an impactful response. Powerful.
Raindrops Are Falling On My Head - the same song that played during the bicycling scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. That both scenes have outlaws riding bikes (those bikes were stolen) is hilarious.
This list is missing key scenes which are core to the themes of the series: 1) Jamie punching his father, being supported by Roy, leading Ted to admit (to himself) his great wound. 2) “Shut up. You had me at ‘Coach.’” 3) Colin coming out, and Roy’s presser 4) Nate’s violin scene, and conversation with his father. 5) Rebecca’s father’s funeral, confronting her mother 6) “Don’t you dare settle for fine!” 7) Jamie visiting his mum.
Season 3 felt off until that episode…it was the turning point where things moved back to everything we fell in love with the first two seasons…brilliant episode!
new Ted Lasso fan! I have just started noticing this show because of my mgmt team likes it, so I was curious. I'm SO glad I checked this out, LOVE this character and the show! I have a question about one of these scenes, when Coach sees the video of Nate hiding under his desk for 3hrs, why is Coach upset after watching this?
Because Coach had a serious drug addiction. Ted took care of coach and got him through it even though coach was not good to Ted during that time but Ted forgave him and gave him a second chance. That is why coach never leaves his side. That is why coach yelled "Phuck" at the end. Because Ted reminded him that Nate was like coach and coach needed to forgive Nate for what he had done. It is also why in that final scene that coach was torn between his unending loyalty towards Ted or staying for his love. His devotion to Ted was greater and he needed that Ok from Ted to stay, even though he knew Ted would not be upset he still needed to hear it and before that moment had no way to say it.
I wish I could finish watching this show. I enjoyed it so much, but I got tired of Apple TV either not loading or freezing mid episode that I canceled my subscription to Apple. I don't have these problems with other channels.
Jamie crying scene is sexually interesting because both Jamie and Roy grow up in very hostile childhood where he had to be a certain type of man as in no crying. And here Jamie feels comfortable enough to admit to Roy that he's tired. He's weak. He needs help, and Roy in turn rather than making fun of him supports him and helps him
Yes. In an episode Ted says to Beard, "What you talkin' about, Willis? " And the audience thinks Ted is referencing the line from the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. But then we find out Willis is Beard's first name. Great call back, great joke!
@@moviespassionif it helps. I get mine from a guy at quiktrip. Just give him a few smokes and he will deliver on floppy discs any scene I want. Only problem is its floppies and a long scene can use about 40 of them
IMHO, the darts scene is the best in the scene. Also, truncating Roy’s bike scene to remove his story about his grandfather is a travesty. Both F* You, Thank You scenes are worth a spot, with Jamie’s being the standout.
The fact that Jamie punching his dad and then being hugged by Roy isn’t on here is fucking criminal

@@moviespassion perfect. My favorite scene in the entire show. Well done!
the fact that Zava joining Richmond was on the list instead is rather upsetting
It was such an awesome show, didn’t want it to end! 😊
God Hannah Waddingham was absolutely amazing as Rebecca. That confession scene was amazing
Yes, she’s beautiful!
She’s so gorgeous!!!❤️😘

"I wash me hair, but I don't use any conditioner" the depths of despair for Jamie.....such a great scene with the two of them.
Yeah😂
Beard somehow says thank you to Ted for reminding him where the appendix is between fake screams 😂
It's slipped in there so casually too, like once you hear it, it's the funniest part of the scene.
Exactly 😂😂
I didn't even notice thank u
An underrated part of Jamie’s character development, when they get the bikes and the guy says 60 euros and Jamie goes “here’s a hundred, keep the change” big moment
Yep
2 minutes into this video and I'm crying my eyes out. What a show this was. People who don't watch football/soccer might never watch this series and I feel sad for them. What a masterpiece.
The look of disappointment on Wills face when Roy says he missed a good one 😂😂
And Roy even looks for Will when he first walks in
Folks on here upset that a different scene should be in the Top 8. Just realize it is because in 3 seasons of Ted Lasso, they packed a hundred or more great scenes, because it is the best TV show ever made.

Watching it for the fourth time .. greatest show of all time
This is just “8 of the Top Scenes From Ted Lasso”
Rebecca apologizing and Ted forgiving her is one of the most heartwarming scenes of the show ❤❤❤❤❤
If you watch carefully you see where Ted forgives her. When she says “ all you good people just trying to make a difference”❤
If they'd made this video '100 best Ted Lasso Moments' they still wouldn't have gotten them all. Best series ever.
I agree 👍
13:40 Roy's face once Jamie starts crying always gets me ded xD

Jamie teaching Roy how to ride a bike is pretty damned wholesome.
This show is sooooo good. Amazing dialogue
Pretty much the OPPOSITE of how America operates these days...

-Jamie punches his father in the locker room and as everyone stares in shock, Roy comes over for an unexpected hug.

I was also missing Beard's speech to Nate. I think that beats Ted showing Beard the video of Nate for me.
@@Unfluencer Totally agree!
@@jaktracy I would agree with that!
Barbeque Sauce! A brilliant TV Show.
Rupert’s face after Ted hits that first triple 20 - he *knows* he’s been played! 😊
As of November 2024, that bicycle scene is the most wholesome thing I've seen all year.
I just noticed they played raindrops keep falling on my head during the bicycle scene as an homage to Butch Cassidy and Sundance kid movie. Brilliant.
How did I miss that. That movie is a classic.

If you look closely at Nate under the table, he scoots the trash can out from under it with his foot while the cleaning crew is in there.
What a show. The writing and the acting is unreal. My second time watching it and I'm still seeing stuff for the 1stbtime.
I will never get enough of Rupert's expression after Ted hit the first triple 20. He immediately knew he just got hustled like a pro and was done for.

I would have included Beard's visit to Nate , when he offers Nate a job and Jade is eavesdropping.
Yep, they did the first half of that ultimate scene by having Ted show Nate the video, but they never followed through with the second part.
